Abstract

The purposes of this study are: 1) to determine and analyze the influence of competence and work discipline on the performance of employees at the Department of Transportation in Palu City; 2) to determine and analyze the influence of competence on the performance of employees at the Department of Transportation, Palu City; 3) to determine and analyze the influence of work discipline on the performance of employees at the Department of Transportation, Palu City. The sample of study consists of 56 people. Method of data analysis is multiple linear regressions with regression equation model as follows: Y = 1.070 + 0.635X1 + 0.152X2. The result of the simultaneous test shows that the competence and work discipline have positive and significant influence on the employees? performance. Partial test shows the competence variable has a positive and significant influence on employees? performance, while work discipline has positive and non-significant influence on employees? performance. The coefficient of determination shows the value of R-Square of 0.649, which shows that 64.9% employees? performance influenced by the competence and work discipline variables, and 35.1% influenced by other variables that are not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research predicts the potential of bankruptcy of plantation sub-sector companies listed on BEI (Indonesia Stock Exchange) in 2012 to 2015. This research uses Altman Z-score analysis method and analyzes financial statements of 11 plantation sub-sector companies listed on The Indonesia Stock Exchange. The financial statements of 2012-2015 are taken from the official website of The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) and then analyzed by using Altman Z-Score model for non-manufacturing company. Altman uses four financial ratios known as Z-Score with formulation Z = 6.56X1 + 3,26X2+ 6,72X3 + 1,05X4; Z-Score >2.6 indicates the company is healthy, 1.1 <Z-Score < 2.6 means companies are in the gray area, and Z-Score <1.1 means the company is predicted in bankruptcy. This research is a descriptive using 11 samples of plantation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with observation period from 2012 to 2015. The results show that in 2015 there are 2 (two) companies predicted healthy, 1(one) is predicted in the gray area and 8 (eight) companies predicted bankrupt. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. (AALI) and PP London Sumatera Indonesia Tbk. (LSIP) are two companies that predictably healthy during the observation period.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Physical Work Environment and Non Physical Work Environment Against Job Satisfaction of Employees Office of Marine and Fisheries Office of Central Sulawesi Province. Independent variable of this research is Physical Work Environment (X1) and Non Physical Work Environment (X2). While the dependent variable is Job Satisfaction (Y). The research method is quantitative descriptive method. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data while the data sources used are primary and secondary data. The population used in this study were 216 respondents. The sample of this research is 68 respondents with sampling technique that is proportional random sampling. Data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the physical work environment and non physical work environment simultaneously affect the variable Job satisfaction. Partially the working environment of physical and non working physical environment have an effect on to job satisfaction of officer at office of Marine and Fishery Office of Central Sulawesi Province

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze the financial performance and financial health of PT. PLN (Persero) Indonesia in 2011- 2015 based on the Decree of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises No: KEP-100/MBU/2002 on company?s health assessment on eight indicators: ROE, ROI, Current Ratio, Cash Ratio, Collection Period, Inventories, Total Assets Turn Over, and Total Ratio of Own Capital to Total Assets and Trend Analysis. The result shows that the financial performance of the liquidity ratio indicates that the company has not fully settled its current debt by using cash and guarantee the current debt with current assets. Profitability ratio shows the company's financial performance has not fully generate profit by using its own capital and company assets. Leverage ratio shows that the company is able to finance the assets with its own capital and at the ratio of activity indicates that the company has been optimal in using the receivables and inventory to generate revenue but the total rotation of assets not yet optimal used to generate income. Therefore, the health assessment on the financial aspects of PT. PLN (Persero) Indonesia in the period of 2011-2015is predicated less healthy.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the effect of personality factor which consists of age dimension and life cycle stage, occupation and economic circumstances, personality and self-concept as well as lifestyle and values simultaneously and partial to the purchase of Clas Mild cigarette in Palu. The researcher takes 97 samples of respondents by using purposive sampling method, and data analysis tool used is multiple linear regression. Based on the result of multiple linear regression test, can be concluded: simultaneously the personality factor which consists of age dimension and life cycle stage, occupation and economic circumstances, personality and self-concept as well as lifestyle and values simultaneously and partial to the purchase of Clas Mild cigarette in Palu with the significant value F is 0,000 < 0.05. The age partial and life cycle stage, occupation and economic circumstances, personality and sellf-concpt as well as lifestyle and values are influenced significantly to the purchase of Clas Mild cigarette in Palu. The value of age and life cycle stage are 0.004 < 0.05, occupation and economic circumstance are 0.009 < 0.05, personality and self-concept are 0.027 < 0,05, life style and value are 0.02 < 0.05.

Abstract

This research aims to identify factors that affect disaster logistics control in Central Sulawesi and factors that become priority in disaster logistics control in Sulawesi Tengah. The respondents of this research are officials in Disaster Management Agency and Social Services Department of Central Sulawesi. This research uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to portray the factors that affect the disaster logistics handling in Sulawesi Tengah in more detail. Data collection is done with in-depth interview and questionnaires distributed to the four samples. Sampling technique is purposive sampling or judgmental sampling. The data is processed using the Microsoft Office Excel 2007. Based on the analysis, it is shown that: there are five factors that affect disaster logistics handling in Central Sulawesi; (1) human resource, (2) uncertainty, (3) collaboration and cooperation,(4) facility, and (5) funding. Human resource is the priority factor in disaster logistics handling in Central Sulawesi with 0.6 point, whereas training is the main factor that affects the quality of human resource with 0.8 point.

Abstract

This study aims to find out Transformational Leadership Style, Transactional Leadership Style and Job Satisfaction have influence, either simultaneously or partially, to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) Employee PT.Konstrindo Putera Perkasa. The sample in this study using all the population with the method used is saturated or census sampling. Data collection was done by using questionnaires, interviews, and through observation (observation). This study uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Method with the help of computer program SPSS For Windows Release 17.0.The result of hypothesis analysis and testing can be concluded that: (1) based on results obtained by Sig.F0.000 <0,05, which can be interpreted that the variables of transformational leadership style, transactional leadership style and job satisfaction simultaneously affect the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) variable. (2) based on the regression test results, the variables of transformational leadership style have significance level t sig. (0,000) <? (0,05), transactional leadership style variable has significance level t sig. (0.019) <? (0,05) and job satisfaction variable have significance level t sig. (0,05) <? (0,05), so that variable of transformational leadership style, transactional leadership style and satisfaction of work partially influence to organizational citizenship Behavior (OCB) variable (3) based on result of regression test obtained variable which influenced most dominant is transformational leadership style has the highest Beta value is 0.708

Abstract

This study aims to know and analyze of the description implementation of change management in Central Sulawesi Provincial Government. The method used in this research is descriptive. This research was conducted at work unit of local government area of Central Sulawesi Province with unit of employee analysis. . Data were obtained using observation, questionnaire and documentation. The sample of the study amounted to 308 respondents determined by stratified random sampling technique. The results show that the implementation of change management in the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government has been implemented based on the model developed by Kurt Lewin which consists of unfreezing, changing and refreezing, where the research results show that the most influential aspect in shaping change management in Central Sulawesi Province is the refreezing aspect which states that employees create / maintain change, while the weakest aspect in influencing change management is unfreezing caused employees are less ready to face changes even employees less open themselves to changes made by the organization in this case the unit of work area .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Job Placement, Work Discipline, and Work Motivation on employee performance at PerumBulog Regional Division of Palu City. Independent variables of this research are Job Placement (X1), Work Discipline (X2), and Work Motivation (X3). While the dependent variable is Employee Performance (Y). The method of research is associative method the type of data used in this study is quantitative data while the data sources used are primary and secondary data. The population used in this study were 47 respondents. The sample of this research is saturated or census sampling. Data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that Job Placement, Work Discipline, and Work Motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance variable. Then Partially Work Placement has positive and insignificant effect, Work Discipline has positive and significant influence, and Work Motivation has positive and insignificant effect to Employee Performance at Bulog Division of Regional Division of Palu City. coefficient of determination show value of R-Square 0,904 which show that 90,4% variable of employee performance influenced by job placement variable, work discipline, and work motivation, while 09,6% influenced by other variable not examined in this research.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of customer value while simultan and partially on customersatisfaction by using spring bed of Comforta In the Palu City. The independent variables used in thisresearch are Functional Value (X1), Value For Money (X2), Social Value (X3), and Emotional Value(X4). While the dependent variable is Satisfaction (Y). The research method used in this research isdescriptive causal. Sampling technique using Insidential sampling with the samples of 100respondents. The method analysis using multiple linear regression. The results indicate thatsimultaneously customer value consisting of functional value (X1), value for money (X2), social value(X3) and emotional value (X4) have significant effect to customer satisfaction by using Spring Bed ofComforta in Palu City. The Partially customer value consisting of functional value (X1), value formoney (X2), and emotional value (X4) have significant effect to customer satisfaction by using springbed of Comforta in Palu City. While variable social value (X3) partially have no significant effect oncustomer satisfaction by using spring bed of Comforta in Palu City.
