Abstract

Productivity is one of the keys to determining the factors that affect competitiveness in construction projects, including the productivity of workers and heavy equipment for spillway casting work at Dam Development. The aim of the research is to analyze productivity and factors affecting heavy equipment and workers. This research using quantitative descriptive calculation methods, and observation in field time study. The results of the data calculations show that the productivity value of a concrete pump is 167.491 m3/day, the productivity of mixer trucks is 46.305 m3/day/unit, and the productivity of workers is 13.790 m3/day/person. Factors that affect heavy equipment productivity are weather, work time efficiency, and material or payload. As well as factors that affect worker productivity, there are the weather, worker time efficiency, foundry location, and the number of workers.

Abstract

The Contract Change Order problems in construction projects significantly influence the project’s success. Therefore, analysis related to the factors causing the occurrence of CCO and its effect on the implementation of construction projects is expected to be used as a reference by related parties for future project implementation. This research used quantitative and descriptive methods to find out which factors caused CCO and their effects. The study was carried out on one road acceleration project in NTB Province with the owners, consultants, and contractors who were respondents to this research. There are 14 variables in the causative factor of CCO and two variables in the influence that occurs. "Additional Needs for Functional and Maintenance" becomes the dominant causative factor, and "Cost Overruns" becomes the variable with the highest effects.

Abstract

Updating regulations from SNI 1726 – 2012 to SNI 1726 – 2019 allows evaluation of the behavior and performance of building structures to reduce the risks posed by earthquakes. This is necessary because in SNI 1726-2019 there is an additional long period in the spectrum response so it is necessary to evaluate it to ensure that the building structure whose behavior still meets the requirements in the regulation. The method used in this study was the pushover analysis method. This study evaluates the St. Catholic Hospital Medical Services building. Vincent a. Paul (RKZ) Surabaya. This study discusses building analysis based on SNI 1726 - 2019 to determine the behavior and performance of structures. The results of this study indicate that the behavior of the structure which includes the time period, base shear force, drift ratio, dual system control meets the requirements in accordance with SNI 1726-2019. This performance level is included in the LS (Life Safety) category.

Abstract

The WTP 1 service area is planned to meet raw water needs in the Temayang and Sukosewu Districts with a raw water supply of 150 l/s. The research objective is to plan a pipeline network to help the people of Temayang and Sukosewu Districts meet their clean water needs. The pipeline network is planned using the QEpanet application to make it easier to describe the network and find out the elevation and length of the pipes. Hydraulic simulation using the Epanet application with the calculation of energy loss using the Hazen William method. The projected population is calculated using the arithmetic method. The pipeline network is planned to use pipes with a diameter of 76.2 – 406.4 mm. The pump is placed in WTP1 with a capacity of 150 l/s and a pump head of 130 m. From the results of the Epanet 2.2 hydraulic simulation on the Junc J22 branch, the pressure value is 1.19 m. so a pump is needed on the L22 pipe section.

Abstract

One of the most important parameters in the building structure design process is an amplification coefficient. The amplification coefficient is needed to propagate a spectra acceleration at bedrock to soil surface. The amplification coefficient can be determined by several methods such as MASW Method, HVSR Method and other methods. One alternative method that can be used in determining the amplification coefficient is to determine the ratio between the ground acceleration at the surface and at the bedrock. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to identify the amplification coefficient in the Province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta with the PSHA method analysis approach by utilizing the shear wave velocity data (Vs30). This research method was carried out in 3 stages, namely data collection, acceleration analysis using the PSHA method, and determination of the amplification coefficient based on the acceleration ratio. The results of the study obtained a distribution of the amplification coefficient of the acceleration spectra of 0.2 and 1 second in the DIY province with a maximum value of Fa amplification coefficient was 1.414 on hard soil conditions and 1.653 on medium soil conditions. The maximum Fv amplification coefficient was 1.508 on hard soil conditions and 1,923 on medium soil conditions.

Abstract

Roads with damaged conditions can cause traffic accidents and hinder society's economic and social progress. Roads that are left hurt and no repairs will further worsen the condition of these roads. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze the modeling of estimated road damage, which is needed to get an informed picture of future road pavement changes. This study aims to predict road conditions for five years, with the research location being on six roads in Malang Regency. This research method uses interviews and secondary data collection using Markov chain analysis. The method used in this study is the Markov Chain method, which is a method that studies the properties of a variable in the present based on its past properties to determine the properties of these variables in the future. The results of modeling road damage are when road repairs are not carried out, and the injury worsens yearly. On the roads studied, road damage increased from year 0 to year 1, and there were many increases ranging from 2% -7%, and for years 1 to 5, there was an increase of 1%. The conclusion of this study is that road damage is increasing because there is no repair at all, so more funds are needed for road repair costs.

Abstract

This paper presents the performance of PVD and vacuum consolidation as ground improvement method at the construction of Kayu Agung – Palembang Toll Road. The analysis was based on observation data collected between STA 00+000 and STA 09+000. The PVD was installed to a depth where the conus resistance of 80 kPa was achieved. Thus, the length of PVD varies from 5 to 13 m while the actual depth of clay deposit could reach 20 m. As many as 42 settlement plate data were collected and analyzed using Asaoka method to obtain the predicted final settlement, the coefficient of consolidation and the time to reach 90% degree of consolidation. The results were compared with the duration of vacuum consolidation application and the recorded settlement when the vacuum pressure was stopped i.e., when settlement plate recorded no differential settlement in three readings. The duration of vacuum consolidation application generally longer than the t90 predicted by the method and the actual settlement was larger than the predicted final settlement.  This study concluded that the variation of the t90 and the magnitude of settlement at t90 have close relationship with the length of PVD and the condition of the soil layer.

Abstract

Jakarta flood occurs almost every year, one of the reasons is the rapid development of its urban areas. Generally, Jakarta is categorized as a flat area, of which some locations are lower than the mean sea level, for example Pluit Polder area, thus being prone to flood. In this study, the rain-on-grid modeling with HEC-RAS software is carried out to determine the parts of the Pluit Polder that are still inundated so that better mitigation strategies can be achieved. The modeling results show that there are still inundated areas around the Pluit Polder ranging from 0.25 m to 2.75 m.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effect of changing control of the reconstruction on Sangasanga-Dondang road, Kutai Kartanegara Regency that have an impact on the time and cost. The length of the road is ± 18.02 km, starting from the intersection of three Sanga Sanga sub-districts and ending at the Dondang Bridge. The road often receives traffic loads from light vehicles and heavy vehicles. This disrupted the stability of the road structure so that some of the road segments experienced structural damage. This research used Earned Value Analysis (EVA), this method used three paramaters, namely Planned Value (PV), Earned Value (EV), and Actual Cost (AC). Based on analysis that had been done when a deviation occurs at estimate the project completion time for 36 weeks. From the parameters, the result obtained were earned value analysis was carried out in 2 weeks with BCWS value of Rp. 73,628,055.56, BCWP value of Rp. 214,691,666.67, and the ACWP value is Rp. 15,099,335,843.68.
