Abstract

The performance of refrigeration system are affected by  condenser, evaporator ,compressor and regulating  valve. Besides   cooling system itself   air in the system are also considered to the performance. The aim of this research to investigate the effect of air in the refrigeration system that  cause the performance of system. The result of this research indicates that coefficient of performance (COP)decrease falls to 37 % (from 8.4 to 5.28) due to the air in refrigerations system, on the contrary  there  is increasing about 40 % (from 25 kJ/kg to 35 kJ/kg)of energy in gernerating compressor

Abstract

Study conducted by represent the study of early storeylevel of ability of exploiting or kaolin potency of an area which is later;then acted  . in this penelitiaan on the market idea to exploit the existing resource the core important regional industrial dig materials of sulawesi south . Ceramic in this time experience of the fast progress where materials of the core important kaolin but to know the ability which is consisted in  it hence there is its character standard . hence in this examination combine the conventional analysis and carakterisasi to kaolin materials done by perception with the instrument of like X-RD, SEM / EDAX And DTA. This test is conducted for to prove the compiler rate . structure. and ability and ability which is consisted in in its material is then clarified by optimalisasi of according to obtained result value

Abstract

One of the PAD potential, which has not been deeply observed is retribution collection of parking area, whether on the road parking or on the parking area. The result of this study is showing that there is a promising potebtial from parking area of three of hospital observed as source of income if assumed that park is a time required by vehicle to enter and exit a long of 5 minutes, the income captured from these three hospital park areas will be around of Rp. 1,025,500,-/day or Rp. 369,180,000,-/year. But, if assumed that park is a time required by a vehicle of about 10 minutes to enter and exit, then the income resulted will be Rp. 971,000,-/day or Rp. 349,560,000,-/year

Abstract

Wood use in civil buildings has shown increasing demand whether for structural or non structural means. The demand itself can not be fulfilled because on the lack of lumber woods in large diameter. On the other hand, bamboo has not been optimally exploted althougth research results have shown that bamboo has strength and better performance compared to other building materials. This research was aimed to reveal the physical and mechanical properties of bamboo Petung. Preliminary research was made the physical and mechanical properties specimens bamboo Petung, which following the ISO 3129-197 standard test method. The result experiment showed that bamboo modulus of elasticity (MOE) obtained was 13257.65 MPa, therefore could be classified as strength class E13. The result of mechanical way test showed that modulus of rapture(MOR), the tensile strength, compression strength parallel, compression strength upright, the shear strength were 29 MPa, 27 MPa, 33 MPa, 11 MPa and 5 MPa

Abstract

The growth of vehicle every year give impact to traffic intersection performance. Various resulted by traffic impact arrangement of intersection which is not optimal for example is vehicle queuing, traffic jam , rise in delay  time and also increase travel time. This research  is conducted in one of Major Street in Surabaya, at Ngagel Jaya Selatan street which intersection between  Ngagel Jaya Selatan  and Ngagel Jaya Street. In this research, the analysis by using Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia ( KAJI) that program is program share released by Directorate of Urban Road Development (BINKOT). From result of analysis by using KAJI program, got intersection performance at condition in the morning reside at service of level F with queue length is equal to 1531 m, mean number stops of vehicle is 1,23 stops/pcu and mean intersection delay is 195,83 sec/pcu. In the day time happened queue length is equal to 1483 m, mean number stops of vehicle is 1,50 stops/ pcu and  mean intersection delay is equal to 151,01 sec/pcu with level of service is F. In the evening got queue length is equal to 2458 m, number stops of vehicle is 2,35 stops/pcu and mean intersection delay is  306,71 sec/pcu with level of service F

Abstract

Landslide is one of the most types of slope movements of soil\rock often occur in Indonesia and resulting in damages such as in agriculture land, highways, structures and even casualties. From the researches landslides often take place on the rainy season,as well as when the rain is falling or after the rain stopped. This research will be done in two phases. First phase is a numerical modeling to simulate and predict slope hidrological behavior in respon to rainfall. The rainfalls applied for modeling are high and low intensity that are £ 70  mm/hour and 20 mm/day respectively some hours until days. The rainfall modeling results is used  as the data for next phase that is slope stability analysis. Slope stability will be analiyzed at the initial condition, when raining and after the rain stopped. This research results the decreased of slope stability caused by the rain depends on the intensity and duration of the rain. The research obtains that the rain  intensity of 70 mm/hour is the most potential cause to trigg the landslide than goes of 20 mm/day, 30 mm/hour and 50 mm/hour

Abstract

Blongkeng watershed area is a sub watershed of Progo, located in Magelang District, Center Java Province. Blongkeng watershed is potential catchment area and it contributes on availability of water surface as well as ground water, either locally and regionally. In accordance with Government Act No. 47/1997 which covers National Planning on Regional Space Arrangement, the middle slope to the up-zone of the watershed has been classified as a conservation region especially on water and soil reserve. This study was conducted so as to determine of hydrology characteristics and watershed critical evaluation. Analytical study covered trend analysis and statistical analysis. The results showed that trend of increasing either maximum and maximum-minimum ratio of stream flow, or trend of declining annually average and minimum stream flow. The evaluation of watershed condition with run-off coefficient (C) analysis showed that the watershed was still normal

Abstract

The aim of this research for knowed residents behavior pattern in to land use settlements camprises behariors and land use spatial variation on riverside settlement at downtown section. The result of this research show that the settlements land use by residents as maximal (has an intensive) for residential activity, working and social interaction executed. The openspaces are forms dominant space at used until to become orientation and activity residents center. Because the land so lack that increasing houses spaces also on the result spaces at houses site without considerating to safety factor, healthy and settlement neighborhood condition with suitable to settle. Construct the public fasilities neighborhood with result space used on the main roads or the common spaces because the fasilities also using together or group
