Abstract

Durabilitas campuran beton aspal mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja dan umur layanan suatu jalan. Durabilitas yang tinggi memberikan indikasi bahwa jalan tersebut lebih awet dan mempunyai ketahanan dari pengaruh cuaca dan air.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui kinerja durabilitas campuran beton aspal dengan melakukan modifikasi rendaman Marshall dan variasi suhu pemadatan. Modifikasi rendaman Marshall yang dilakukan adalah 1, 2, 4, 6 dan 8 hari serta variasi suhu pemadatan dimulaidari 90oC, 100oC, 110oC, 120 oC dan 130oC. Untuk melihat kinerja durabilitas campuran beton aspal digunakan indikator Indeks Kekuatan Sisa (IKS), Indeks Penurunan Stabilitas, yaitu Indeks Durabilitas Pertama (IDP) dan Indeks Durabilitas Kedua (IDK). Penelitian ini dilakukan di laboratorium Transportasi dan Jalan Raya Fakultas Teknik Universitas Tadulako.Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa durabilitas campuran beton aspal masih memenuhi persyaratan bina marga yaitu nilai IKS lebih besar 75%. Durabilitas tertinggi dicapai pada suhu pemadatan 120 oC dengan lama rendaman satu hari. Nilai Indeks Kekuatan Sisa (IKS) menurun dengan meningkatnya durasi rendaman. Indeks Durabilitas Pertama (IDP) umumnya mengalami kehilangan kekuatan, kecuali pada rendaman 4 hari mengalami peingkatan kekuatan. Indeks Penururnan Stabilitas tertinggi terjadi pada suhu pemadatan 120oC. Indeks Durabilitas Kedua (IDK) pada berbagai suhu pemadatan dan variasi rendaman umumnya mengalami kehilangan kekuatan kecuali pada variasi redaman 4 hari justru terjadi penambahan kekuatan sebesar 3.4% atau naik sekitar 56,57 Kg

Abstract

Penggunaan angkutan pribadi yang cukup tinggi di kota Surabaya merupakan salah satu penyebab kemacetan utama lalu lintas. Jumlah angkutan pribadi yang beroperasi adalah  60,48% mobil pribadi, dan 22,35% sepeda motor serta mobil penumpang umum (MPU) sebesar 2,64%. Rasio perbandingan antara pemakaian angkutan umum (mobil angkutan penumpang umum/MPU dan bus besar) dan mobil angkutan pribadi adalah 1 : 27. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam tulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui peranan serta pemilihan jenis angkutan massal yang tepat dalam rangka usaha untuk menekan tingkat kemacetan lalu lintas di kota Surabaya. Jenis angkutan umum yang dominan beroperasi di Surabaya adalah Mobil Penumpang Umum (MPU) yaitu mikrolet dan sejenisnya dengan kapasitas  tempat duduk 10 –11 orang sebanyak 2,64% kemudian disusul oleh angkutan umum bus besar sebesar 0,36%. Beberapa alternatif angkutan massal yang bisa digunakan untuk mengurangi penggunaan angkutan pribadi di dalam usaha menekan tingkat kemacetan lalu lintas antara lain penggunaan pengoperasian Kereta Api Komuter (sementara beroperasi), pembuatan Jalur Bus Khusus (Busway), Monorail.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba menggunakan bahan pengisi filler abu terbang batu bara yangdiharapkan menambah daya tahan lapis perkerasan beton aspal terhadap kerusakan yangdisebabkan oleh cuaca dan beban lalu lintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuiseberapa besar nilai karakteristik Marshall pada campuran beton aspal dengan menggunakanfiller abu terbang batu bara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yaitu dengan suatupercobaan untuk mendapatkan hasil, dengan demikian akan terlihat pemanfaatan filler abuterbang batu bara pada konstruksi beton aspal dengan variasi kadar filler 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, dan 8%terhadap total campuran Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan filler abu terbangbatu bara akan mempengaruhi karakteristik campuran beton aspal. Semakin banyak filler abuterbang batu bara yang digunakan, menyebabkan nilai stabilitas semakin meningkat. Padakadar filler abu terbang batu bara 4% nilai stabilitas yang didapatkan sebesar 1518.124 Kg, padasaat kadar filler abu terbang batu bara ditambahkan sampai pada kadar 8%, nilai stabilitasmeningkat menjadi 1640.499 Kg. Nilai fleksibilitas mengalami peningkatan seiring pertambahankadar filler abu terbang batu bara. Dengan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 14,87% dari kadar fillerabu terbang batu bara 4 % sampai 8 % menunjukan bahwa campuran lebih bersifat kaku.Durabilitas campuran mengalami peningkatan seiring pertambahan kadar filler abu terbangbatu bara. Pada saat campuran menggunakan variasi kadar filler abu terbang batu barasebesar 4 %, memiliki nilai durabilitas sebesar 91.433%, setelah divariasikan dengan kadar filler abuterbang batu bara sampai pada 8%, nilai durabilitas meningkat menjadi 95.703%, dengan rataratapeningkatan sebesar 2.02%

Abstract

Palu, the capital city of Central Sulawesi province is experiencing economic progress. Progress is shown by the supporting facilities such as one of the biggest hotel in Palu that is Best Western Coco Hotel at Basuki Rahmat Street.The existence of this hotel will increase human activities towards the hotel by using a vehicle, so that could increase the amount of vehicles in this area. The total additional volume of these vehicles can cause additional traffic load in Basuki Rahmat Street and influence its performance. This study was aims to determine the performance of Basuki Rahmat road on the existing condition and in the future without and with activity affected the hotel. The analysis conducted by using the method of Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual, 1997. In this research a survey of traffic volume, side barrier and the vehicle travel time were conducted. The survey was conducted on Thursday, September 4th 2014. Base on the result of analysis on the  performance of Basuki Rahmat Street, without development for existing condition the value was obtained as DS = 0,30 and  DS on 2014 condition = 0,47 by level of services (LOS) C. While the conditions of the development of the area obtained value of DS=0.31, DS condition 2014 = 0,48 by level of services (LOS) = C. The handling of road start from additional of median on the road section will continue to maintain the performance of roads in a state with a level of service B, by degree of Saturation in each direction in 2024 is 0.44 and 0.41.

Abstract

Perkembangan volume lalu lintas di kota Palu dalam beberapa tahun terakhir ini cenderung mengalami peningkatan yang berarti. Meningkatnya volume lalu lintas sering tidak diiringi dengan peningkatan prasarana menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan antara supplydan demand akan berdampak pada kemacetan, kecelakan lalu lintas dan meningkatnya waktu tempuh kendaraan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merencanakan waktu sinyal dengan sistem 2 fase berdasarkan pada kondisi arus lalu lintas pada jam puncak di simpang tersebut.Metode perhitungan sinyal digunakan pendekatan MKJI dan Webster. Dari hasil analisis perhitungan sinyal diperoleh waktu siklus pada jam puncak pagi, siang dan sore berturut turut adalah 62 detik, 60 detik dan 74 detik. Pada jam puncak pagi, diperolehwaktu hijau dan merah pada fase 1 adalah 30 detik dan 27 detik, sedangkan  pada fase 2 adalah 22 detik dan 35 detik.Pada jam  puncak siang, diperoleh waktu hijau dan merah pada fase 1 adalah 28 detik dan 27 detik, sedangkan pada pase 2 adalah 21 detik dan 34 detik.Pada jam puncak sore, diperoleh waktu hijau dan merah pada fase 1 adalah 33detik  dan 36 detik, sedangkan fase 2 adalah 38 dan 31 detik

Abstract

One of the few supermakets in Palu city which considerably crowded is Grand Hero Supermarket. This Supermarket was located on the Basuki Rahmat street. Because this road is an arterial road with highly traffic volume at certain hours, so the Grand Hero Supermarket activity will affect the performance of the road. At peak hours, many vehicles are in and out from the supermaket, disrupting theperformance of BasukiRahmat road. The aim of this research is to understand the existing condition of the Basuki Rahmat street performance with or without the activity of Grand Hero Supermaket. This research was conducted by surveying the volume of the street, side friction and travel time. The survey was carried on Wednesday 04-06-2015 and Saturday 6-06 2015. The analysis was conducted by using Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 method. The results show that the performance of JalanBasuki Rahmat with no Grand Hero Supermarket’s activity has a degree of saturation 0.35. Grand Hero Supermarket with activity would increase the degree of saturation that is 0.43 that increases 22.86%. The speed of light vehicles by MKJI is  42.84 km / h. With the Grand Hero Supermarket activity, the speed of light vehicle decreased from 27.76 km/ h to 23.74 km / h or there are speed reductions of 14.49%. The level of service with the Grand Hero Supermarket activity was at B condition with DS rate of 0,43

Abstract

Split Mastic Asphalt (SMA) is one of the hot mix asphalt concretes use with open graded and it has high coarse agregate content (70% - 80%) and a high asphalt content. Since the content of the high asphalt needs requires additional material such as cellulosa fiber to stabilize the asphalt. Through with this study, the another try to use rice bran as the additional material. In addition, rice bran is a natural cellulose fiber which cames from the rice milling proces. It was relatifevely cheaper than the cellulose fibers synthesis.The results showed that the use of rice bran affects the characteristics of the mixture Split Mastics Asphalt (SMA). The stability of the mixture by using cellulose (rice bran) as an additive in a mixture of Split Mastics Asphalt (SMA) generally meet the specifications, except the asphalt content of 7.5% - 8% with rice bran content of 8% - 9%.Value of Flexibility in the mixture showed a tendency to decrease. On the asphalt content of 5.5% shows the highest flexibility and does not meet specifications unless the content of rice bran 8% - 9%. that gives a good mix of performance on asphalt content. The value of flexibility that gives a good mix of performance on asphalt content of 6.5% - 7.5% with bran content of 6% - 8%.

Abstract

The increasing number of passengers, goods and aircraft traffic flow in each year in Palu MutiaraAirport will have an impact on the performance of the existing road network around its.Movement of traffic from Mutiara airport or to Mutiara airport, will also be a tendancy toincrease, and can overload the road network around the airport.This study aims to determine the network performance of major roads around the Mutiara airportdue to the operation of the airport, especially at peak hours. Research analysis was conductedusing Indosesian Highway Capasity Manual (IHCM-1997).The results of this study indicated that the performance segment of the main roads aroundMutiara airport is still in stable flow conditions and not under conditions of traffic jams. Degree ofSaturation (DS) on each road segment Abdul Rahman Saleh, Dewi Sartika, Basuki Rahmat andMuh.Yamin respectively was 0.14: 0.46: 0.37 and 0.63, with the highest level of service road AbdulRahman Saleh is the way to the level of service A.

Abstract

The growth of vehicle every year give impact to traffic intersection performance. The impact of trrafic such as vehicle queueing , traffic jam , rise in delay time and also increase travel time could be caused by traffic control system no effective because the increasing by traffic volumeThis research is conducted in one of Major Street in Palu, namely at Samratulangi – Sudirman Street street is the intersection between Hj. Hayyun – Cik Ditiro Street.In this research, the analyzed by using Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia ( MKJI).From result of analysis by using MKJI , got intersection performance at condition of morning peak reside at service of level C with queue length is equal to 38,73, in the peak day has level of service F with queue length is equal to 65,04 m and afternoon peak with level of service E where the queueing length is 70,07 m. According to value of level of service on the this intersection had shown that traffic control system 2 (two) stage was not effective again

Abstract

Surabaya City represent one of the biggest city in Indonesia with level of carownership is very high . Every year the amount of vehicle continue to increase so that can give impact to traffic jam , mussy and accident of traffic.From cause aspect accident of traffic in Surabaya city in generally caused by passenger vehicle which non public transport ( private car)and motorbike.Frequency accident of traffic in range of time 5 the last year ( 1998-2002) is counted 169 accident case with amount of victim counted 192 soul. Amount of soul victim pass away counted 29 people (15,10%), hardly injured 76 people ( 39,58%) and lightly injured 87 people ( 45,31%) the root cause accident is motorbike 48,10% and car 33,38%.Component of traffic type which often involve accident is motorbike driver with road street defector. The other cause is motorbike with car. The time of the biggest traffic accident is happened at 10.00 - 14.00 WIB.
