Abstract

The science increasing, special in particular civil engineering demand of concrete technology of the best.Increasing weight concrete replace of coarce aggregate with steel short. The steel shoert can broughtpresent from repaire shop in city Palu. The dimension of steel short measured of long 30 mm and wide 20mm. The steel short efforted of free corotion, mody and poorly.Preliminary research was to gain Portland cement properties of bulk specific gravity and modulus of finetest. Specimen of fine aggregate properties were bulk specific gravity, water content, water absorption andmodulus of fine. The specimen concrete of cube made with dimension 150 mm x 150 mm x 150 mm.The result of experiment showed of properties of Portland cement between bulk specific gravity and modulusof fine were 3,14 and 5,40%. The result of experiment of properties fine aggregate showed bulk density,water content, bulk specific gravity and fine aggregate absorption were 1,73 t/m3; 0,72%; 2,61 and 0,28%.The result experiment compression strength of high density conrete showed of bulk density and compressionstrength of age 28 days average were 3,96 t/m3and 26,23 MPa

Abstract

This research presents the study about the effects of adding admixture Sikament-163 to the increasing of concrete compression strength vs. concrete’s age. The percentage of Sikament-163, which is added in concrete mixture, is 1.0 % by cement weight. This research was conducted using each 25 of test specimens for normal concrete and added Sikament-163 concrete with the same slump. The tests were conducted when the concrete’s age reached 3, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days. The results of test show that the concrete compression strength of the concrete using Sikament-163 increase 13.5 % average above the normal concrete for each concrete’s age. This is because the adding admixture Sikament-163 into concrete mixture can reduce the volume of used water for the same slump; therefore, concrete, which was produced, is more compact and more strength.

Abstract

The paper presents the use of an algorithm to apply constraint to a governing system of simultaneous equations. The method consists of the implementation of the constraints directly on the system of simuitcineous gouerning equations prior to the solution operations. By the application of the method, problematic aspects such as possibility of the enlargement of the coefficient matrix size, or possible “ill-condition” of the matrix, can he avoided.As a by-product, the met hod can also be used as a tool to compute for support reactions. The method can he applied suitably well in a computer analysis program.

Abstract

Stalling condition of stator cascade compressor using British Profile 9C7 / 32,5. C50 at stagger angle 40, has reach at angle of attack 16O, although the value of turning angles (12) and losses tend to stabilize. This matter because of the blockage effect on the blade corner, shares stream to concentration to the middle O, this phenomena causing the cascade cannot rising the pressure more. The stalling condition at stagger 40 dominated by the corner stall phenomenon

Abstract

Two dimensional dynamic models have been increasingly used for river flood simulation. This commonly uses satellite remote sensor data, recorded on a rectangular (Raster) grid. There are many important features on a flood plain, such as hedges or buildings, which do not follow the grid lines. Irregular meshes can be used to follow these features, but converting raster data to this format involves a loss of detail. The Cartesian cut-cell (CC) method uses a rectangular mesh. The edges of irregular solid bodies are located precisely with sequences of vertex coordinates. Cut-cells, which lie on the edge, are given special treatment. This allows straightforward integration of grid and vector data, potentially within a GIS based framework. This paper introduces the semi permeable internal (SPIn) boundary cut-cell method. This allows the integration of permeable boundaries, such as hedges, into the model. To explore the impact of these features, a small scale river flood event, over a field featuring a hedgerow, is simulated

Abstract

Spearman rho correlation and chi square cross tabulation techniques were employed to analyse secondary data with regards to a case study of direct cost for building constructions in 7 (seven) regencies/city in the Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD). The first technique was used to test statistically the rank differences of variables influencing direct costs among the seven regencies/city, while the second was employed to know the differences of frequencies of contractors’ perception regarding such direct cost from 7 (seven) regencies/city. The result shows that the ranks of direct cost variables from the highest to the lowest (i.e. material cost, transportation cost of materials, equipment rental cost, equipment operational cost, worker skills related costs, basic wages, wages related to location, wages related to work types) are significantly correlated between 7 (seven) regencies/city in NAD including significant correlation to the sum of 7 (seven) regencies/city. In spite of that, there are four variables influencing direct cost showing the differences of frequencies from 7 (seven) regencies/city in NAD, namely, transportation cost of materials, equipment rental cost, wages related to work types and wages related to location condition. While material cost, equipment operational cost, basic wages, worker skills related costs show no differences.

This is a kind of survey on the housing and settlement located in the subdistrict of Palu Selatan, Palu. The data and information on the condition of the housing, facility, and infrastructure with its environment are evaluated and analyzed for conclusions and recommended solution.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the effect of compressor pressure ratio with respect to performance of refrigeration system that is used refrigerant R 141B with water cooling on evaporator and condensor. The performance of refrigeration system is represented by heat transfer on evaporator and condensor.This research used experiment method. The result of this research indicates that is no effect of compressor pressure ratio to heat transfer on evaporator, on the contrary there is increasing compressor pressure ratio due to decreasing of heat transfer on condensor
