Abstract

This study aims at identifying the condition of housing and settlement. This is due to obtaining accurate data which can be used as a guideline in the effor to enhance the quality of the housing and settlement environment. This is a kind of survey on the housing and settlement located in the subdistrict of Palu Selatan, Palu. The data and information on the condition of the housing, facility, and infrastructure with its environment are evaluated and analyzed for conclusions and recommended solution.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of a pilot-scale HSSF-CW utilizing Typha angustifolia and fine sand-gravel media in removing total coliform and TSS from hospital wastewater. Three pilot-scale HSSF-CW cells measuring 1.00 x 0.45 x 0.35 m3 were filled with gravel sand media with a diameter of 5 - 8 mm as high as 35 cm with a submerged media depth of 0.30 m. There were three treatments, namely the first cell (CW1) without plants, the second cell (CW2) was planted with a density of 12 Typha angustifolia plants, and the third cell (CW3) was planted with a density of 24 Typha angustifolia plants. The three HSSF-CW cells received the same wastewater load with total coliform and TSS contents of 91000 MPN / 100 mg and 53 mg / L, respectively, with Hydraulic Loading Rates 3,375 m3 per day. Wastewater was recirculated continuously to achieve the equivalent HSSF-CW area requirement. The experimental results show that the performance of CW3 is more efficient than CW1 and CW2 in total coliform and TSS removal for hospital wastewater. The pollutant removal efficiency at CW3 reached 91.76% for total coliform with one day hydraulic retention time and 81.00% for TSS with two days of hydraulic retention time. This study concludes that the HSSF-CW system using sand-gravel media with a diameter of 5 - 8 mm with a submerged media depth of 0.30 m and planted with Typha angustifolia with a tighter spacing proved to be more efficient in removing total coliform and TSS from hospital wastewater.

Abstract

Regulasi UU NO. 26/2007 menjelaskan bahwa pengendalian pemanfaatan atas ruang merupakan proses yang meliputi pemantauan dan pengendalian pelaksanaan rencana sebagai hasil penataan. Tujuan memberikan kepastian pada penggunaan ruang sebagaimana yang tertuang pada perencanaan tata ruang. Populasi Kota Palu diperkirakan akan meningkat sebesar 1,36% tahun pada tahun 2022, menurut data BPS, yang akan meningkatkan permintaan lahan. Fenomena luas area permukiman dan aktivitas masyarakat di KKOP Bandara Mutiara Sis Al Jufri tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan pemanfaatan ruang dan  zona rawan bencana.  Tujuan penelitian menemukan pelanggaran pemanfaatan ruang dan merumuskan arahan pengendalian pemanfaatan ruang sesuai standar dan ketentuan penaatan ruang. Metode penelitiannya kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisa keruangan berbasis sistem informasi geografis dan pengecekan lapangan, menggunakan teknik overlay untuk analisis delineasi spasial,  analisis penggunaan lahan dan analisis daerah rawan bencana. Hasil penelitiannya, menemukan pelanggaran ruang di area KKOP, khususnya di Kawasan Kemungkinan Bahaya Kecelakaan dengan persentase 22,10 persen area yang melanggar dan keberadaaan potensi likuifaksi level 3 sebesar 18,42 %. Berdasarkan temuan ini, maka disusun arahan pengendalian ruang yang bersifat umum untuk seluruh wilayah KKOP dan bersifat khusus untuk wilayah Kawasan Kemungkinan Bahaya Kecelakaan.

Abstract

Pengembangan atau pembangunan di Kota Palu terlihat pada penggunaan lahan yang makin berkembang dan dinamis, sehingga perlu terus dipantau perkembangannya karena seringkali pemanfaatan lahan tidak sesuai dengan peruntukannya. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pemanfaatan ruang kota Palu, 2022, Terjadi beberapa Penyimpangan pemanfaatan ruang pada Kawasan Budidaya di Kota Palu, terdapat beberapa kegiatan yang terjadi tidak sesuai peruntukannya seperti teridentifikasinya kegiatan industri pada peruntukan kawasan Pendidikan, perikanan, RTH dan perumahan; selain itu terdapat pula Permukiman berada pada peruntukan Kawasan RTH, Kawasan tanaman Pangan, dan sekitar waduk, serta terdapat Kawasan perkembunan berada pada peruntukan Kawasan perdagangan dan jasa, perkantoran dan lain-lain. Berdasarkan kondisi yang ada, penelitian ini di lakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektifitas pemanfaatan ruang pada Kawasan budidaya di Kota Palu berdasarkan tingkat kesesuaian pemanfaatan ruang yang tertuang dalam rencana tata ruang yang ada, dengan sasaran mengkaji kesesuaian dan deviasi pemanfaatan ruang yang terjadi pada Kawasan budidaya di Kota Palu. Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kinerja Horizontal Subsurface Flow Constructed Wetland (HSSF-CW) skala percontohan yang memanfaatkan tumbuhan air hias Typha angustifolia dan media pasir-kerikil halus dalam menyisihkan total coliform dan TSS dari air limbah rumah sakit. Tiga cell HSSF-CW skala percontohan berukuran 1.00 x 0.45 x 0.35 m3 diisikan media pasir kerikil berdiameter 5 – 8 mm setinggi 35 cm dengan kedalaman media terendam 0.30 m. Terdapat 3 perlakuan yakni cell pertama (CW1) tanpa tanaman, cell kedua (CW2) ditanami dengan kerapatan 12 tanaman Typha angustifolia, dan cell ketiga (CW3) ditanami dengan kerapatan 24 tanaman Typha angustifolia. Ketiga cell HSSF-CW menerima beban air limbah yang sama dengan kandungan total coliform dan TSS masing-masing 91000 MPN/100 mg dan 53 mg/L dengan Laju Pemuatan Hidrolik 3.375 m3 per hari. Air limbah diresirkulasi secara kuntinyu untuk mencapai equivalen kebutuhan luasan ideal HSSF-CW. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan kinerja CW3 lebih efisien dibanding CW1 dan CW2 dalam penyisihan total coliform dan TSS air limbah rumah sakit. Efisiensi penyisihan polutan pada CW3 mencapai 91.76% untuk total coliform dengan waktu retensi hidrolik 1 hari serta 81.00% untuk TSS dengan waktu retensi hidrolik 2 hari. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah sistem HSSF-CW yang menggunakan media pasir-kerikil berdiameter 5 – 8 mm dengan kedalaman media terendam 0.30 m dan ditanami tumbuhan air hias Typha angustifolia dengan jarak tanam lebih rapat terbukti lebih efisien dalam menyisihkan total coliform dan TSS dari air limbah rumah sakit

Abstract

West Mamboro Village, which is located in North Palu District with an area of 6.05 km², has significant potential for the fisheries sector. This research aims to identify the potential of the fisheries sector, analyze the relationship between the local economy and regional development, and formulate a development strategy based on the local economy through the fisheries sector. The method used is Mix Methods, using correlation analysis and multiple regression to determine the relationship and influence of natural resources, human resources, artificial resources, and local economic variables on the variables of regional development strategies based on the local economy of the fisheries sector, as well as SWOT analysis to determine the strategy of the variables that are influential and have a relationship. The results of the study show in the multiple correlation and regression analysis that the variables of natural resources, human resources, artificial resources, local economy are influential, and the SWOT analysis produces comprehensive strategies, such as capacity building through training, diversification of fishery businesses, strengthening access to capital and technology, preservation of the marine environment, adoption of modern technology, improvement of product quality, development of disaster-resistant infrastructure, and development of marketing systems competitive ones. This strategy aims to create a sustainable and inclusive development ecosystem, as well as attract the younger generation to the fisheries sector. The conclusion of this study confirms that the potential of the fisheries sector in West Mamboro Village is the key to local economic development and fishermen's welfare, with sustainable management needed to maintain a healthy marine ecosystem.

Abstract

Slum settlements remain a major issue in Donggala Regency. This includes residential areas with high economic potential but numerous environmental problems, such as in Wani 1 Village, Tanantovea District. The government’s handling efforts have not yet fully resolved the livability issues in the area. Therefore, this study aims to conduct a deeper assessment of settlement problems to formulate handling guidelines based on the conditions and levels of slum severity in Wani 1 Village. These guidelines are expected to serve as a reference for optimizing government efforts in addressing slum settlement problems. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Based on the analysis and calculations, Wani 1 Village falls into the categories of moderate and light slum areas. The reduction in slum levels has been driven by government intervention programs initiated in 2017. This indicates an improvement in the quality of the area, particularly in basic infrastructure aspects such as the construction of neighborhood roads, drainage systems, individual sanitation facilities, and the provision of clean water. However, the handling efforts have not yet been fully optimized, as several unresolved issues remain. Therefore, the recommended handling direction for Wani 1 Village is to improve the quality of problematic aspects based on existing conditions, in order to organize and rehabilitate the area toward creating livable and non-slum settlements.
