Abstract

Image improvement is the process to improve visual quality, from the original image to get optimal image results. The first category, this technique operates on the transformation of frequency selection and the second technique operates directly at the pixel level of the image. in this study the Exposure Sub-Image Histogram Equalization (ESIHE) technique will be enhanced with a brightness level to get visual image results. Then ESIHE is compared with other additional techniques, such as Histogram Equalization (HE), Adaptive Histogram Equalization (AHE) from the side of the image. Furthermore, for the even distribution of histograms, we will use ESIHE entropy calculations to show an increase in the image results that are more optimal when compared with HE and AHE. The visual image quality of each technique shows the strength of the method and the superiority of the other methods for various types of images.

Abstract

With the increasingly of the modern era, more and more diseases that arise due to human lifestyle and bacterial transmission. One of them is gastritis which occurs because of inflammation that occurs in the lining of the stomach which makes frequent pain in the stomach. From these problems, it is necessary to make an expert system application of gastritis disease which aims to provide information to the public to know the early symptoms of gastritis from an early age. The process of diagnose using the certainty factor method The methods in this study are data retrieval, system design, system making and system testing.From this research, it produces an expert system application that can diagnose the type of disease with the first test case 98.848%, the second test case 99.8464% and the third test case with the results of 99.99115264% correct and in accordance with expert knowledge. System testing is done by using black-box testing that shows the function of each unit of application 100% successful.

Abstract

The human need for technology and the availability of adequate infrastructure is evidence that technology is now a part of basic human needs. The increasing number of journals and scientific papers, it must be more selective in selecting and sorting even though there are already many online service providers and journal portals. Research on search engines and plagiarism and recommendation systems has been carried out with various methods deemed appropriate to improve the performance of the system itself, this paper has the purpose of calculating the similarity between one article with another article by implementing n-gram and tanimoto cosine. The number of articles tested was forty-three titles and abstracts, tested fifty times with randomly selected keywords, by breaking down each title and abstract sentence into n characters (n = 2 to 8) including spaces and punctuation, then counted similarity with the query or keyword used for system testing. The test was conducted using several threshold variations from n = 2 to 8. After observing fifty times the threshold test of 0.15 has the highest accuracy at n = 4 at 0.92, the highest precision at n = 3 at 0.42 and the highest recall at the test n = 2 = 0.44 .

Abstract

Registry reported that their regional already in exhausted state. The IPv6 was proposed to substitute IPv4 network, but the implementation of this version cased many problems such as hardware compatibility. As temporary solution to this problem, 6to4 tunneling transition mechanism is introduced as one of many solutions. This mechanism used IPv4 network as communication media between two IPv6 networks. Thus, this kind of mechanism will affect the performance of Voice over Internet Protocol. VoIP demanded real-time communication by using UDP protocol between nodes. Unlike normal communication mode, real-time mode required data to be sent immediately ignoring the quality of data. This research evaluated the performance of 6to4 tunneling mechanism for Voice over Internet Protocol s communication between two nodes in native IPv6 networks.

Abstract

Kampus Notohamidjojo merupakan kampus yang tergolong masih baru yang digunakan oleh Fakultas Teknologi Informasi Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. Gedung ini berdiri 3 tahun lalu, meskipun gedung ini masih baru tetapi sudah ada beberapa kerusakan dari infrastruktur, fasilitas laboratorium komputer dan furniture. Pihak yang menangani hal tersebut adalah bagian sarana dan prasarana fakultas. Sarana dan prasarana dari fakultas mengalami kendala ketika melakukan pengelolaan kerusakan yang ada, maka dari itu dengan berkembangnya teknologi yang semakin maju banyak platform yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk melakukan pengelolaan kerusakan tersebut. Platform yang digunakan yaitu smartphone Android dan website. Perancangan sistem ini menggunakan platform Android untuk melakukan proses pelaporan kerusakan dan website digunakan untuk melakukan manajemen kerusakan. Perancangan ini difokuskan untuk membuat desain antarmuka aplikasi yang user-friendly. Desain yang diterapkan menggunakan metode Human Centered Design (HCD) karena dengan menggunakan metode ini dapat menghasilkan antarmuka yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Perancangan ini juga menggunakan teknologi dari Hybrid yang dimana dengan menggunakan teknologi tersebut sistem ini dapat berjalan di Android dan iOS. Pengujian terhadap antarmuka dilakukan menggunakan metode End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) dengan mendapatkan hasil lebih dari 90,0 yang menandakan bahwa perancangan sistem pelaporan kerusakan menggunakan metode HCD dan EUCS ini valid dan mampu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan yang diperlukan dari pihak sarana dan prasarana Fakultas Teknologi Informasi.

Abstract

The review of the users of one application is of great help to development in improving the quality of the application and may be the means for assessments that users feel satisfied or not. The study conducted a sentiment analysis of the Ruangguru application by testing the three classification models such as Naive Bayes, Random Forest and Support Vectors Machine. The study has yielded results that from Random Forest classification model 97,16% by using Cross Validation and an AUC score of 0.996. Then accuracy with the model of Support Vector Machine classification support results in accuracy rate of 96.01% to an AUC value of 0.543 and accuracy in the testing of Naive Bayes classification model was 94,16% of AUC score 0,999. This study shows that an increase in accuracy from previous studies of 7.16% with Random Forest s final cut as a Random Forest classification model with the best performance.

Abstract

The devastating earthquake that struck Palu on the island of Sulawesi last September ripped through the Earth's crust at a rare high speed, scientists have found. When the disaster is over, many natural disaster victims need immediate help. The call center provided is usually busy with services and complaints from victims of natural disasters. The greater the impact of natural disasters, the more information services that must be carried out. By using CEPAT chatbot for disaster evacuation in Palu, information about evacuation place can be given to victim by access it. Then when the victim shares their location, CEPAT will give the nearest evacuation place information using LBS improvement Chabot.

Abstract

Information security problems always increase every year. One way to minimize problems related to information system security is to establish an SOP. This study was conducted in koperasi simpan pinjam for several reasons that there has never been an assessment related to the level of security of the information system used, there are threatshave occured, and there do not have documented information system security procedures. The SOPs compiled in this study are based on the ISO/IEC 27002:2013 framework. The method used is qualitative with the OCTAVE framework to process the information obtained. Meanwhile, to calculate the value of each risk, FMEA is used. This study shows that 22% of the risks invloved in koperasi simpan pinjam have low categories, 59% medium categories and 19% high categories. The final result of the stiff research is the proposed 8 policies and 12 information system security procedures for koperasi simpan pinjam.

Abstract

Quality of service is part of the services provided by the Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA) library so that it matches the expectations and needs of visitors. There is not yet a system that can be used to measure service quality so that the process of measuring services is less than optimal. So it needs to be made a system that can be used to evaluate the quality of library services. The system was built using two methods in its development, namely the Libqual Method and the Fuzzy Tsukamoto Method by using a Likert scale from values 1 to 5. The Libqual method is used to measure the gap between perception and expectations with two calculations namely Adequancy Gap (AG) and Superiority Gap (SG) , in Fuzzy Tsukamoto there are four process processes, namely fuzzyfication, rule formation, inference and defuzzyfication machines which are used as ranking of each question on the questionnaire regarding service quality. Ranking aims to find out the question items about the quality of service that has the best value on a scale from small to large. The results of calculations using Libqual and Fuzzy Tsukamoto from three dimensions that exist in Libqual, Library as Place gets first rank with a value of 3,31 which is the most optimal service quality.

Abstract

In general, the college admission process is done through registration, file selection, examinations, an announcement of the results of students who pass, and ends with re-registration. In this case, a problem was found where there is a significant decrease in the number of student who register with those who re-register .Things like this can reduce the balance between new students and students who meet the requirements, to make a decrease in the quality of higher education and affect accreditation. Based on these problems, a classification method was developed to look for patterns of students who would enter institutions and what factors influence students to re-register.To improve the accuracy of the decision tree algorithm the author use adaptive boosting (adaboost) in finding factors that make prospective students continue to the re-registration process.From the results of the study, the AdaBoost-based decision tree algorithm shows that the level of accuracy has an increase of 20%. The presentation of results is as follows, 61.4% (decision tree); 91.35% (decision tree + AdaBoost)
