Abstract

This study aimed to examine the use of ICT by lecturers of Raden Fatah Islamic State Univercity and the factors that influenced it. The research used a quantitative approach with survey method. The research was conducted in May-July 2014. The data was collected using a questionnaire. Respondents were lecturers of UIN Raden Fatah totaling 86 people. Analysisof data usingunivariate, bivariate, andmultivariate techniques. The results showed that: 1) the use of ICT by lecturers of Raden Fatah Islamic State University was still not maximum, 2) the age, sex, level of education, teaching experience, andmotivation of the lecturers does not significantly affect theuse of ICTby lecturers, 3) the rewards factor had given significantly affect the use of ICT by lecturers, and 4) therewards factor hadthe most influence onthe use ofICTby lecturers ofRaden Fatah Islamic State University.

Abstract

This articel was conducted based on the consideration that the current emotional intelligence is still indispensable in shaping the behavior of students. With specifying on the subjects of Islamic education. This article tried to connect the emotional intelligence of high school students on Islamic Education. This article examines to determine how Islamic religious education policies that have been implemented in high school and to determine the relevance of emotional intelligence of high school students against the teachings of Islam. To get a complete this article. libarary research approach.  Data was collected through literature study includes studying, studying and citing theories or concepts from a number of literature. Books, journals, magazines and others. It can be applied to educate children who are emotionally intelligent with the ability to recognize self-managing emotions productively utilize emotions, empathy, and the ability to build social relationships.

Abstract

This research is based on research library research literature in this study wanted to try integrate between Religion and Science in learning, there are three questions; first, circumstances of integration between Religion and Science, a description of the example Integration of Religion and Science form the Moon and the theme of nature and explanation in the Qur'an. With analysis and normative content of the Qur'an explain the phenomena of nature with science and science context. Soon is the first research results, the integration of science with nature is a necessity and it is becoming important in the development of sciences as theology that include common knowledge.

Abstract

Education is one of the media that is Able to help develop the potential of all human beings. Over time the implementation of many educational experience problems when the role of education has a significant influence on improving the quality of human life. Islamic education as an agent of social change should be Able to hit the problem that move dynamically and proactively to the advancement and improvement of Muslims. Das sollen, the purpose of education in Islam as the process of formation of human beings to conform with the nature of existence. Therefore, we need an alternative thinking in an effort to minimize the various educational failure. Democratization of education Considered as a solution capable of Islamic education in creating a humanist. Education that does not justify the existence of intimidation, repression and restrictions on the creativity of teachers and students can be Realized with the Efforts to create a democracy marked by education teaching-learning process that is open and full of healthy and responsible dialogue between teacher and pupil. Humanist atmosphere in education will deliver the achievement of educational goals of Islam. Islamic education is basically the Democratization of space, the which is where the education is directed at a dialogical space. Moreover, the ultimate goal of Islamic education directs its final destination on the behavior and attitude changes, the quality and variety of aspects that promote humanism space. Islamic education should be oriented to instill democratic values in the learning process, such as openness, mutual respect, sympathy, empathy, solidarity, and their understanding of pluralism in a pluralistic life.

Abstract

Islamic education not only encompasses the sheer worship. The religious values of Islam are capable of covering all human activities. However, a Moslem makes use of his/her religion when dealing with his/her God. Conversely, when interacting with the environment either by humans or animals, these Islamic values are abandoned, including when on highway. As a religion of Rahmatan Lilalamin, a Moslem should necessarily be able to bring Islam to the benefit of the universe. On the highway, a Moslem should be able to demonstrate the Islamic behavior and prevent from having diverging behavior which is contrasted to Islamic values. Adherence to traffic regulations and laws should completely be reflected while on the highway. Islam has explained by its scripture, that human existence on this earth is not only to be submissive and obedient to the laws of religion, but there are government laws which are mandatory for all human beings to obey, as an effort to establish a peaceful earth. A Moslem should become a pioneer of discipline on the highway when a lot of people ignore the applicable regulations. A Moslem should be served as an example of traffic turmoil and chaos when on highway. A Moslem should convey the values of Islam to the fellow Moslems and the followers of different religions, anytime and anywhere including on highway.

Abstract

This research is based on research library, the background of this research concerns with the deterioration of morals or character education in children and adolescents. Foreign cultures that are not properly filtered is the result of deterioration of education and children‘s akhlak. Imam al-Ghazali, one of the leaders of Islamic thinker that has miraculous works, one of the famous works is the book of al-walad ayyuha, described the mechanism in the moral education of children and adolescents. Education behavior is defined by al-Ghazali in this book are relevant with the character education for children and adolescents.

Abstract

This paper raises the issue of the death penalty for drug-crime actors in Islamic education perspective, especially when the President Joko Widodo refused to pardon the actors at the beginning of his reign. Although the execution was likely contrary to the wishes of human right instigators, but on the other hand, such punishment is one vehicle in providing education to the citizens as well as the efforts to actualize the law enforcement in Indonesia. The implementation of the death sentence does not touch directly the scope of formal education in Indonesia. However, this is where the emerging hope and the search for enlightenment of such punishment is seen from the eyes of Islamic education which has applied the concept of reward and punishment in its system. Thus, through this paper, it is expected that educators can assist in bridging the imposition of a death sentence as an attempt to form good citizens.
