Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the differences of auditor’s ethic behaviour and work stress when they conducted audit assignment.. The population was Public Accounting Office in Surabaya. This research using questionnare, from 254 questionnare which sent,  was responded 97 questionnare and could be analyze was 54 questionnaire. Data analysis used SPSS 12 for examining reliability, validity, and independent samples t-test. The research’s result indicated that there was a significant difference between male auditor and female auditor in the ethic behaviour and work stress. The other research’s result indicated that married status, education level, working position, and working time had no significant difference in the ethic behaviour and work stress.

Abstract

The critical problem that faced by women entrepreneur was the strain / conflict which appear between way of life and  career, the strain was reflected by conflict role. That’s were  business and household. That was the problem that faced by women entrepreneur of batik small business in Bangkalan Madura.　　　　This research was aimed to know the factors that influencde business-related factors, family-related factors, personal factor to the double role conflict of small business in Bangkalan. Batik small business  was used as a research object, because  over 50%  batik handycraf was women. This research placed  at Tanjung Bumi which use 54 respondens as the sample, which were taken from three villages, desa Tanjung, desa Telaga Biru, and  desa Paseseh.　　　　The result of this research showed that comfortability of life, self-respect, business satisfaction, time of work, children dan the liquidity of the business had significant influence to the double role conflict of the women entrepreneur in batik small business. Filling comfortable because she could help to increase the welfare of the family by having a business, were the domain factor which could eliminate the double role conflict to the women entrepreneur. Married happiness, worker and education had no significant influence to the double role conflict of the women entrepreneur.

Abstract

The research was aimed to identification and analyze internal and external condition that influence the business development in PT Sarbi Moerhani Lestari and to formulate the correct strategic in order to develop the business. The research was conducted in PT Sarbi Moerhani Lestari for 2 months since April until June 2007. The method used was case study by purposive sampling by collected primary and secondary data. The data was analyze by IFE matrix, EFE matrix, IE matrix, SWOT, and AHP (Analitical Hierarchy Process).    The result from identification of internal factor showed that the main strenght is administration completeness with score is 0,368 . And the main weakness is dependence of government market with score is 0,088. Meanwhile, from identification of external factor showed that the main oportunity is the future auction system with technical and cost spesification, and the main threat is auction system with the lowest cost assesment..Competitive position of company from the result of IE matrix showed that  the position in V cell. It  means  that company have average internal condition and the company’s  response of external condition is middle.     From all alternative strategic, the first priority is  increasing time and cost efficiency based on company environment change to over come the competition and low price of forest plant seed  with priority score  is 0,378.

Abstract

The research was based on reality that  gross national product is very important for supporting the economic growth rate.  This research aimed to test and analize the effect of macro economic fundamental to value added taxes.      The research type was an expalantory research, in nature that is a research method aim to discribe the effect or relationship among several variables, that were inflation, investation, interest rate, kurs, value added tax. The secondary and primary data were used. In analysis effect of each variables and analysis methode was used SPSS 11.    The result shown that simultanous inflation, investaiton, interest rate and kurs were affected significantly to value added tax and the partially all variable not significantly to value added tax.

Abstract

One of the service quality measurement was Servqual ( Service Quality), which was developed by Parasuraman, Zeithaml, and Berry., they had an apinion that in evaluating service quality, consumer compared between expected service quality and perceived service quality. Based on that theory, this research aimed to test the influence of service performance  to the customer loyalty, tested the influence of service performance to the consumer satisfaction, tested the influence of satisfaction to the bank customer loyalty and described the comparison of the direct and indirect influences of service performance to the bank customer  of Bank Jatim in Bangkalan. This research used path analysis. Conducted in three branches of Bank Jatim in Bangkalan. Result of research indicated that the interaction between service performance and customer satisfaction as moderator variable could explain the customer loyalty varians more than each variable.

Abstract

The performance of every kind of  industry always related to external-internal environment.  Based on that subject, this research aimed to analyze the influences of external environment factors (buyers, suppliers, techology and government) and internal environment factors (marketing, finance and production) to the performance of small business of batik in Bangkalan.  The population of this research was the small business’s manager or owner in Kecamatan Tanjung Buli Kabupaten Bangkalan.  The sample was 42 batik’s manager or owner, taken in 3 villages.  The result of this research was : buyers, suppliers, technology, marketing and production had the significant influences to the small business’s performance; and marketing had the biggest influence to the small businesss’s performance.

Abstract

Human Resource Development is one of many aspects in human resource management that has position strategic in organization. It can be developed many manners, is like what East Java province government do it. The East Java government has one policy to development human resourece/employee.  It has known “Doing Invesment to increasing and developing human resource”. The purpose of  this policy is to develop competency employee by three aspect in human capital. Three aspect in human capital are: intellectual capital, social capital, and soft capital. Intelectual capital is knowledge and ability those own by a social collectivity, is like a organization.  In this way, the government support employee to advance study in formal education and/or sent employee to allow training course. a society includes the institutions, the relationships, the attitudes and values that govern interactions among people and contribute to economic and social development”.  Social capital is develop by interaction behind one employee and the others also desaign teamwork with stakeholders, are like University in East Java, non government organization, etc. Soft capital is develop  by increasing morality employee. It has done with briefing religion one or twice a week in mosque or church. Perhaps in this way employee is understanding how  done duties are well.
