Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the performance of the queuing system and parking needs at Bandar Lampung Mall Transmart Carefour. With various kinds of facilities available at Transmart Carrefour Mall, it can affect the number of visitors or the number of customers who come. The survey was conducted for 1 day and the observations were carried out for 10 hours at 10:00 to 20:00 WIB.This research was conducted in the parking area of the Transmart Carefour Mall and this survey included recording the number of vehicles, recording the number of vehicle police and the service time of vehicles entering and leaving the study site. The results of research on parking needs obtained the highest accumulation occurred on Saturday at 15.01-15.30 WIB namely 162 vehicles. The unit of car parking space (SRP) currently is 300 slots. With the accumulation and number of parking spaces, the available parking lots are not enough in the standard value but what happens in the field, the SRP can still accommodate customers who come. The highest average arrival rate at the entrance is 16 vehicles/hour with a service time of 15.6 seconds/vehicle. Thus there is still a lot of freedom in the parking gate, with the gate idle probability value of 0.366, so the parking gate is not too busy. Keywords: Parking Accumulation, Parking Space Unit, Arrival Rate, Service Time

Abstract

Congestion has become a common problem faced by the community. The intersection of Pramuka -Cik Ditiro street is one of the most prone congestion areas in Bandar Lampung. One of the solution that can we do to reduce congestion is to build a fly over,that is expected to reduce congestion so that it will give a good impacts. The purpose of this study is to determine traffic conflicts and the magnitude of travel delays occurring around the Kemiling fly over. This study uses gap acceptance and follow-up methods to calculate the queue of vehicles that rotate at u-turn. The data collection is done by recording a video. The duration of the recording are 4 times with a duration of 1.5 hours in the morning and evening for 2 days (Monday and Saturday). Based on data analysis that has been carried out, after the construction of a fly over, it turns out there are still some congestion conflicts at several points during rush hour (morning and evening). The data obtained is the delay on the u-turn in front of the fly over which is 8.42 seconds for the average gap time and 5.13 seconds for the average follow-up time with the number of vehicles passing as many as 274. Therefore to solving the problem a roundabout being planned with a diameter of 20 m. Keywords: Fly Over, U-Turn, Follow-Up, Gap Acceptance, Roundabout.

Abstract

High Speed Rail (HSR) is currently regarded as one of the most significant tecnological breakthrought in passenger transportation. Compare to a convensional train, a high speed train will shorten time travel. This study aims to evaluate the viability of high speed rail project based on financial analysis. The parameter used to analyse the financial viability are NPV, BCR, IRR, PP and Break Even Traffic Volume. The analyses also includes sensitivity analysis with a variety of discount rate, annual income and investment cost value. The result of financial viability analysis shows that the project does not meet the financial requirements. It is indicated by negative NPV value, IRR value of 0,27 to 2,28 smaller than the discount rate and PP value much longer than the concession period which are of 50 years. The result of Break Even Traffic Volume shows that the range of total demand number to reach NPV=0 are between 11,27 millions to 11,58 millions. The Number  is very much greater than total passenger number of Argo Parahiyangan train in the year 2018 that is 4,38 millions/ year. Even though based on the financial viability analysis the High speed rail Jakarta-Bandung project is not be feasible. However, based on the economic and social benefits the project is crucial to solve traffic congestion, reduce the pollution rate, and save the time travel.Keywords :High-Speed Train, financial analysis, financial feasibility parameters

Abstract

AbstractThis research intended to conserve water resources and build an integrated field laboratory at the Faculty of Engineering of Lampung University. The small dam planning method consists of hydrological analysis, small dam body planning analysis, soil strength stability analysis of reservoir construction, and analysis of the budget plan in small dam construction..Rainfall data uses Polinela rain station data with one point rainfall analysis method. The calculation results obtained using these methods are, type of reservoir with small dam dimensions, height of 3,75 m with a base elevation of +105,00 and peak elevation of +108,75, reservoir length of 165,613 m and width of the lighthouse as wide as 2,60 m, slope with 1:1,5 embung height with reinforcement of stone pairs. The flood discharge is 0,375 m³/s for the planned rain pattern of 90% in Bandar Lampung area and the planned water storage volume is 4.951,404 m². The planned budget for Conservation Embung at the Integrated Field Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung is Rp. 2,817,793,499 (two billion eight hundred seventeen million seven hundred ninety three thousand four hundred ninety nine rupiahs). Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkonservasi sumber daya air dan membangun laboratorium lapangan terpadu di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Lampung. Metode perencanaan embung ini terdiri dari analisis hidrologi, analisis perencanaan tubuh embung, analisis stabilitas kekuatan tanah terhadap konstruksi embung, dan rencana anggaran biaya pada konstruksi embung.  Data hujan menggunakan data stasiun hujan Polinela dengan metode analisis hujan satu titik (point rainfall). Hasil perhitungan didapatkan dengan menggunakan metode-metode tersebut yaitu, tipe embung urugan dengan dimensi embung, tinggi 3,75 m dengan elevasi dasar +105,00 dan elevasi puncak +108,75, panjang embung sebesar 165,613 m dan lebar mercu selebar 2,60 m, kemiringan terhadap tinggi embung 1:1,5 dengan perkuatan pasangan batu. Debit banjir sebesar 0,375 m³/detik untuk pola hujan rencana 90% daerah Bandar Lampung dan volume tampungan air rencana sebesar 4.951,404 m². Rencana anggaran biaya Embung Konservasi di Laboratorium Lapangan Tepadu Fakultas Teknik Universitas Lampung sebesar Rp. 2.817.793.499,- (dua miliyar delapan ratus tujuh belas juta tujuh ratus sembilan puluh tiga ribu empat ratus sembilan puluh sembilan rupiah).

Abstract

Material requirements for road pavement have increased along with major developments in Lampung Province. This causes the availability of aggregates to become thinner. One alternative replacement material is RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement). The aggregate in RAP becomes a potential that can be used as a basic material for road foundation layer. Therefore, research on the potential of RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement) if used as a base course material.This study uses RAP material obtained from the asphalt pavement layers on Soekarno-Hatta Street, Bandar Lampung.  The results of the maximum dry density value obtained from three behaviors amount of blow is 1.965 grams / cm3, so that the resulting CBR value is 51%. This is caused during mixing and blows, the added water cannot enter perfectly into the RAP cavity. Because RAP granules are coated with asphalt so it is impermeable. So it can be concluded that the potential RAP used in this study cannot be used in road foundation layer class A but can be used as a road fondation layer class S. And if an additional of blows are made in each layer, RAP potentially can be used as a class B road foundation material. Keywords : RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement), Base Course, Optimum Moisture Content.

Abstract

The office is a representation of the trip distribution. Travel behavior of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) is one of the causes of transportation problems that occur. This condition is an idea to examine the activities of employees who have an influence on the productions and attraction zones that occur in Bandar Lampung Government Office.This research focuses on the characteristics and travel behavior of the State Civil Apparatus in Bandar Lampung Government Office with the existing land use. Data is collected by interview method. The analysis used is a descriptive crosstab analysis.From the results of the research, the percentage of the mode of travel used by the State Civil Apparatus is motorcycle, 59.17%; personal car 25.00%; and public transportation 15.83%. The most influential factor on the behavior of the State Civil Apparatus prefers to use personal vehicles compared to public vehicles, are time and distance traveled. The biggest production and attraction trip is in North Teluk Betung sub-district with the value of production is 48.79% and the attraction is 49.35%. Keywords: City Government Office, Mode of Travel, Trip Generation, Bandar Lampung
