Abstract

This research was intended to calculate values of tourism and fishery economic loss due to aquatic pollution by applying a dynamic model. Data collected is obtained through direct field and from data base Fisheries department, ecotourism and local government.Data process with Stella versi 9.0.2 High Performance System, Inc., 2007. Results of this research showed a simulation with budget allocation of sewage end processing installation (IPAL) and working effectivity of 30%, it was gained net benefit in fishery and tourism as much as Rp1.469.772/month and total benefit received up to the 10th year was Rp12.538.802.584.706.- Model simulation of compensation of insentive value was Rp1.153 person//month at the initial period to Rp8.397.567,- end of this simulation. If compared between the compensation value and the insentive value received by the community, there was a net surplus that give an economic advantage between values paid by the community to solve the pollution and benefit enjoyed by the community. At theoptimism scenario model, it was found impact of economic increase, whereas, results of the pessimism model gave a decrease by introducing sewage processing installation.

Abstract

Indicators of the farmers wealth can be seen from exchange rate of farmers (NTP), it can depict term of trade of the farmers from a farming conserning the need of produktion factors and consumption on products or services. This research aims to understand farmers revenue from seaweed farming and know the exchenge rate of seaweed farmers in Konawe District. The analysis result show that if power wages are thoroughly calculated, then average revenue of the farmers are IDR3.659.108/years. Mean while if calculated man power wages are those form outside the farmers’s family, then the average revenues of the farmers are IDR6.688.268/year. Exchange rate analysis of seaweed farmer production factors NTFP > 1 (1534 – 203,3) show that the farmers revenue from seaweed farming can fully all farmers expenses for production factors whereby at the same time they still can make profit as 53,4 % – 103,3 %. In eddition, the term of trade consumtion analysis of seaweed farmers NTKP <1 (0,154 – 0,634) shows that the seaweed farmers revenue not yet fully satisfy the revenue consumption of the farmers familly as 15,4 – 0,63,4 %.

Abstract

This paper is directed generally loin crease the production capacity of loin tuna as excellent potential acceleration of development Southeast Sulawesi. These efforts are pursued through the introduction of fiberglass boats based on fishing partnerships that an increase in the welfare of a sustainable society. In particular, aimed at improving the system of industrial fleet loin tuna, repair fishing partnership system, and increase the ability of employees in the field service fleet industry professionals. Methods of achieving the intended objectives, done through technical training in the marine capture fisheries, and apprenticeship in industries loin and ship building fiberglass. In addition, done with coaching, supervision of the target group, the provision of technology support, and resolving business is built. The approach used is konvergensy, implementary and developmentally. The results achieved are catching tuna fishermen are able to process their catch into loin in each capture site. Loin tuna quality of type A can still be maintained up to the shelter as a benefit of the method of packaging and the use of fiberglass boats which provide a prediction accuracy of landing. Finally, entrepreneurs can of tuna has produced as many as three people by promoting a partnership with local government of Southeast Sulawesi Province and loin tuna industry in Buton as the acquirer organization.Keywords : fiberglass boat, loin tuna, partnership management

Abstract

This study aims to determine the needs of business investment, the cost structure, cost efficiency, and profitability of the business. Collecting data using interview techniques to the owner miniplant crab (Portunus pelagicus) is a group in the village Bahari Manage Lapulu Abeli District of Kendari. Data was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative methods. The analytical tool used is investment analysis, cost analysis, defresiasi analysis, and break-even point. Results of the analysis showed that the total investment needs of businesses miniplant crab is Rp15.770.000. The ratio of return on investment of 0.23 years shows that the investments made can be returned for ± 3 months. Rajungan miniplant business cost structure is dominated by the cost of procurement of raw materials rajungan by 90%, the remaining 10% for payment of taxes, home care production, depreciation, wages, consumption, plastic bags, charcoal and salt. The use of business costs miniplant rajungan already efficient with R / C of 1.35, B / C ratio of 0.35, BEP (unit) of 92 kg and BEP (price) of Rp10.580.650. Profitability of business or level of ability of businesses generate profits of 0.35, meaning any business investment miniplant Rp1 crab will yield a profit of Rp0.35Keyword : Cost, business profitability, investation, rajungan miniplant

Abstract

This study aims to determine the division of labor, gender households seaweed farmers in North Buton in productive activity, reproductive and social as well as access and control exerted by the husband and wife to some resources. The population is seaweed farming households totaling 246 households. The selected sample number is 71 households seaweed cultivators. Because this research in the gender perspective, then who will be interviewed are men and women in this case a husband and wife in every household seaweed farmers. Thus, the total number of respondents in this study as many as 142 people. The method used is descriptive analysis and Harvard Analytical Framework (HAF) methods. The results showed that the division of labor in productive and socially dominant husband than wife. In contrast to the division of reproductive, dominant wives than husbands. Husband and wife have equal access to the farm, while access to sources of capital, non-formal education, and information from the media, greater access the husband. In terms of decision-makers in the agricultural business, a more dominant role is husband. While in the sales process and the allocation of revenue there is a balance between the role of husband and wife. Key Words: access, control, gender role, seaweed.

Abstract

Strategy Corporate Social Responsibility as an attempt to achieve good corporate governance,good corporate citizenship and good business ethics of a business entity, so the company is notenough to just think about the interests of owners of capital, but also to meet the interests of allstakeholders. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of CSR strategy for CSRimplementation. This study used quantitative methods, and design studies testing the hypothesisor hypotheses. The samples by purposive sampling method. The sample consisted of a director,senior manager, senior assistant managers, supervisors and staff / specialists. In the analysisconducted two initial test, the test validity and reliability testing. Then test compliance withAnova, Correlation and simple linear regression. Results of hypothesis testing showed CSRstrategy has a strong and direct relationship with the implementation of CSR with correlationnumber 0,437, and the value of R Square 0,191 means that 19% of the company's CSR strategyvariables can be explained by the effect of implementation of CSR or CSR implementation ofthe company's CSR strategy by 19% while the remaining 81% is explained by other factorsoutside variables CSR implementation. CSR strategies are packed with good company andintegrated with its business strategy will be a positive influence and gain support from thecommunity and other stakeholders.Keyword : Corporate Social Responsibility, Strategy, Implementation

Abstract

Starting from the urgency to protect nearshore areas from destructive fishing, a group of people in Saponda Island set up a local  marine sanctuary, known as Marine Manage Area. The initiation to establish marine manage area has been commenced since 2004. Marine Manage Area is an institution that was set up by local community in which the participation of the community during the establishment was involved such as village administration and non government organization. The performance of the sanctuary’s institution are characterized by three primary components: jurisdiction boundary, property right, and rule of representation. Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) development of  the  types of superior commodity of marine and fisheries, (2) instrument in implementing economic development and the economic acceleration of coastal areas and  marine in Kolaka district. The sampling method used random sampling. The results of the analysis of fisheries of brackish water aquaculture, the types of superior commodity are vaname shrimp, windu shrimp and  milkfish. For fisheries of marine aquaculture, the kinds of superior commodity are seaweed, grouper and sea cucumbers. While for brackish water bargain, goldfish commodity becomes the superior followed by tilapia and catfish. Overview of the three commodity groups are based on several supporting aspects of a leading commodity: (1) Aspects of the availability of fish resources. (2) Aspects of productivity. (3) Aspects of market opportunities, three groups of fish resources, namely tuna and mackarel tuna, small pelagic and demersal/coral fish, the three groups can enter the market between regions. (4) Aspects of price, in terms of price per kilogram from the fishermen, demersal/coral fish especially reef fish, consumption which are marketed in the traders have greater sale value, followed by tuna and mackarel tuna, then small pelagic fish. (5). Aspect capital, fishing effort of a small pelagic fish and tuna more require huge capital. (6). Abstract

Time allocation of  gender in the household of the seaweed farmers in Buton Utara Southeast Sulawesi.The present study is aimed time allocation of seaweed farmer households in their productive and social activities based on gender category. The population of the study was seaweed farmers  amount 246 households, and 71 households were taken as samples. This study concerns with gender perspective  as both husband and wife in cach household were interviewed thus, the sample became 142 respondents.  The research was  uji-t statistical analysis. The uji-t analysis showed that there was a significant different between husband and wife in productive, reproductive, and social activities.  Meanwhile, both husband and wife contributed nearly the same amount of time in productive activities outside their main farming activities.Keywords: Time Allocation, Gender, Sea Weed
