<![CDATA[ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the utilization of collections in the library SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar. The method used in this study which is descriptive quantitative with the population is all students active library users of SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar, with the number of members of the library is 1000 people. while to determine the sample in this study taken a number of 100 respondents using slovin formula with percentage error of 10%. sampling using probability method by using simple random sampling technique.The results showed that the use of library collections SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar has met and in accordance with the needs of its users. the utilization of library collections occurs due to several factors that drive internal and external factors. collection in the library SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar is good so it can support the needs of users in the field of education. <![CDATA[ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to know the constraints faced by library users while searching for information on OPAC and to know the effect of Variable X to Variable Y on effectiveness of Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) in tracing information at Integrated Library of Health Polytechnic Denpasar. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive. The total population is 565 people and the number of samples of 85 people calculated with Slovin formula. The determination of samples from this research is using the technique of nonprobability sampling with the purposive sampling approach. This research is further more using the data collection technique in the form of a questionnaire. This research use multiple linear regression for the data analysis techniques. The conclusion of this research is that usage of the OPAC has been effective and give an effect to user satisfaction in Integrated Library of Health Polytechnic Denpasar. <![CDATA[ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to know the library collection development at Perpustakaan Sastra Mangutama Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Badung, The method applied in this research is descriptive qualitative. Informants of this research are head of division, head of section, and librarian. Which amounts to 4 (four) person. The result of this research indicated that Perpustakaan Sastra Mangutama Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Badung does not have a written collection development policy. Selection activity of literature was conducted by librarian by spreading book questionnaire to schools and village. Selection criteria is based on update and literature physical condition. Weeding is carried out regularly every year by removing collections that are considered damaged and irrelevant or obsolete, so that the collections on the shelf are maintained its quality. Procurement of library materials is carried out regularly once a year and obtained through purchases with third parties (partners). <![CDATA[ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of RFID on circulation service in Grhatama Pustaka by using descriptive qualitative research method. Sources of data in this study were came from textbooks, journals, previous research , observations, and interviews. Informants amounted to 7 (seven) peoples are librarians and staff who served in circulation service. Technique of data analysis used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this research indicate RFID was very helpfull librarians and library staff in the circulation service of Grahatama Pustaka so that the circulation process can proceed quickly, accurately and can secure the library collections. The obstacles faced in the implementation of RFID are RFID system error on Staff Workstation. The other obstacle is technical constraint when processing of library collection. <![CDATA[ABSTRACT A library is a room or a building used to store collections such as books and other publications. A good library is a library that can fill fill the various needs of informatioon user. Thepurpose of this studyy is to determinee the needs of informatioon user, search behavior information user, and constraints faced by user in seeking informatioon in the State Polytechnic Library of Bali. Method research in this quantitative descriptivee method. The theory used research in this Ellis's theory. The samplingg technique research in this simple random sampling with total sample as much 96 people. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires. The results showed that information seeking behavior in The Bali Polytechnic State Library is mostly done through the internet. In addition, the satisfaction of users in The Bali State Polytechnic Library shows good results. Keywords: Information needs, information seeking behavior]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine the role of school libraries in improving interest in reading high school students I Kintamani. The benefit of this research is expected to be a useful input for improving the quality school library function as a learning resource center in SMAN 1 Kintamani in the future. Library is a room used to store books and other publications that are usually stored according to a particular arrangement called the classification of grouping a book or other obiects into a class or a particular class. The school library is a library in the school as a means of education to support the achievement of preschool goals, primary education and secondary education. Collections in the library of SMAN 1 Kintamani are good enough, have supported the academic community in the field of education, but the new books must be updated and old books in the library needs maximum care because it is still in need by pemustaka as a means of information and refrensi. The results of this study found that the visit to the library (70 respondents = 27 %) the time to the library (75 respondents = 28.8%), the collection of interest (69 respondents = 26.5%), the number of collections in the read (79 respondents (21.9%), library influence on reading interest (107 respondents = 41.2%), students reading reading (74 respondents = 28.5%), collection utilization (99 respondents = 38%), reading interest (131 respondents = 50.4%) librarian helped find the collectonn (90 respondents = 34.6%), librarian gave guidance (109 respondents = 41.9%). <![CDATA[ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find out how the promotion activities of Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Denpasar by using descriptive qualitative research metodh. Sources of data in this research comes from observation, interview, documentation dan literature study. In performing data analysis techniques, the authors use data reduction stages, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the promotion activities of the Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Denpasar using promotional media, such as leaflet, website, advertising media, technical guidance, mobile libraries and exhibition. Based on interview from informants, mobile libraries and exhibitions are the most effective media to promote library. The obstacles when doing the promotion activities, Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Denpasar have any internal and external factor. <![CDATA[ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to know the digital transformation activities conducted in the National Library of Indonesia as a process of preservation for manuscripts in the National Library. The method of the research is descriptive qualitative. Informants of this research are head of division digital transformation, and librarian at National Library of the Republic of Indonesia, user on manusripts room. The result of this research the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia has a standard in performing digital transformation activities for the ancient manuscripts they have. National Library of the Republic of Indonesia performs several stages of selection before performing digital transformation activities. Utilization of digital collection of manuscripts in the National Library has not been maximized. <![CDATA[ABSTRACT This research is a descriptive quantitative research that aims to determine the impact of service of user satisfaction at warmadewa university library. The independent variable in this research is library service and dependent variable is user satisfaction. The subject of this research is the user of Warmadewa university library. The study was conducted in May 2017. The population of this research were all users of Warmadewa library in May which totally to 706 users while the total of samples with error rate of 10% is 88 users. The techniques of collecting data were questionnaires distribution, literature study, and observation. The sampling technique used was Proportionate Random Sampling. The data which have been processed presented in table form. Measurement of variables used is Likert scale. Interpretation of data was done based on the large percentage of answers from respondents. To determine the effect of service to the library users satisfaction is used simple linear regression analysis, and using software program SPSS version 24. To test the hypothesis was done by T-test. The results of this research indicates that the quality of library service affect the user satisfaction, the better services which provided by librarian so the user's user satisfaction increases. The dimensions the well performance dimension of employees get the best score of the overall dimensions made on the questionnaire while user of the dimension know the new collection get the lowest score so this research suggestions to provide a new collection stack so the user knows the existence of the collection. <![CDATA[ABSTRACT This research is aimed to find out the influence of redesign library spatial to user interest for visit Perpustakaan Universitas Warmadewa. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative. The research was located in Perpustakaan Universitas Warmadewa The sample in this study was calculated by using Slovin formula with 10% tolerance error, the sample amount of 94 samples, the sampling technique used was Non-Probability Sampling. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. Analysis techniques used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis with the formula Y= a + bX. The results obtained in this research showed that redesign library spatial to user interest for visit Perpustakaan Universitas Warmadewa comply the five dimensions of interior design: lighting, use of color, storage space, texture and pattern and scale and balance to create a room in accordance with the function of college libraries. Seen from result of hypothesis test show that t count value less than alpha (? = 0,05) become 0,00 <0,05 can be concluded there is the influencing of redesign library spatial to user interest for visit Perpustakaan Universitas Warmadewa.
