Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of this research is to inform the user education influences of the advantage of libraries in the Republic of Indonesia National Library. This research uses quantitative methods by using descriptive approach. This research is conducted at the Republic of Indonesia National Library, Central Jakarta. The total of population in this research is 11.542 people and the total of sample is 100 people, that are calculated by using the Slovin formula. This research uses data collection techniques consisting of questionnaires, observation and literature. The data analysis technique used in this study is validity testing, reliability testing and simple linear regression analysis using SPSS software (Social Sciences Statistics Package). The results of this research is tested by the hypothesis testing with sig.t arithmetic <(? = 0.05), it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between user education on library use in the Republic of Indonesia National Library. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is a descriptive quantitative study that aims to determine the effect of diorama services on user satisfaction in the Archives and Badung District Government Library if measured by the ServQual method. Data collection techniques are by distributing questionnaires that are calculated using a Likert scale using five independent variables, namely: physical evidence or tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and one The dependent variable is user satisfaction. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The analysis technique used in this study is simple regression analysis. Hypothesis testing results show that the calculated t value is smaller than alpha, it can be concluded that there is an influence of diorama services on user satisfaction in the Archives Service and the Government Library of Badung Regency. Abstract

ABSTRACT This final project writing aims to find out the copyright policy in Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University Yogyakarta Library. This research uses decriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are data triangulation. The informants of this study were the head of the Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic university library, and the library staff at the Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University Library, which numbered four people. The result of this study indicate that the UIN Library has a policy regarding thesis copy regulation and the library refers to the Copyright Act No. 19 of 2002. The UIN Sunan Kalijaga Library has complied with the Copyright Act, as evidenced by the sxistence of a photocopy policy but the policy until now it was still less than optimal, because of the lack of knowledge of users of the existence of the copyright. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find out the name of the author, journal and online website which are often cited, obsolescence of cited literature and the form of cited literature in the article of the students in D3 Library Study Program Udayana University who were graduates in 2017-2019. Using descriptive research with the data source is bibliography scientific articles as many as 46 scientific articles with 378 bibliographies. From the results of the study showed that the rank of authors who are frequently cited is Mr. Sugiyono as many as 29 times cited. In analyzing the journal as many as 66 citations. Journals that are often cited are journals from within the country. At the age of half-life, were 10 years old. In the research results, the analyzed forms of literature are namely books, journals, online websites, and laws. Keywords: Citation, Scientific Articles, Literacy obsolescence.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine the library management in the Library of Bank Indonesia Representative Office in Bali Province. The results of this study indicate that the Library Management of the Bali Provincial Representative Office has been carried out well and has carried out management functions. Those are planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. However, it has not been carried out optimally in the planning stage. This can be seen from the lack of vision and mission as well as the standard organizational structure owned by the Bank Indonesia Representative Office Library of Bali Province. In addition, there are 2 (two) people in the Library of Bank Indonesia Representative Office in Bali Province. Therefore, it is necessary to add competent human resources. Abstract

ABSTRACT This final project writing aims to find out the transformation of libraries based on social inclusion in UPT Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University Yogyakarta. This Research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation to the library, conducting interviews, documentation and literature study. The informant of this study was the Head of the Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University Yogyakarta Library. The Result of this study aim to determine the transformation of inclusion-based libraries in UPT Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University Library. Background of this research is because the UPT Library of the State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga is one of the tertiary libraries that have disabled users, both undergraduate and graduate students. In order to guarantee the right of disabled user of the service, the International Federation of Library Associations Standards are realized in the field of accessibility of services for people with disabilities. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpoe of this study was to find out how the process of maintaining records with the encapsulation method as well as any obstacles encountered in the process of maintaining records using the encapsulation method at the archives service and the Bali Provincial Library. The method used in writing this thesis is to use qualitative research methods. The data in this study were obtained through observation and interviews. The informants in this study consisted of two people consisting of the head of the static archive acquisition and procesaing section and the functional archivisit of the archive preservation department of the archives service and the Bali Provincial Library. The results of observation and research interviews show that archival maintenance activities using the encapsulation method have been going well but still have constraints in the process. Abstract

ABSTRACT The study purpose was determined the circulation library service technique of UPT Udayana University Library. The study was described descriptively of circulation library service techniques and compare with circulation library service theoretical. Main data the study collected through interviews and secondary data used literature review. The results showed that the circulation library service technique at UPT. Udayana University Library has been implementing Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) of Circulation Library Service. The Library SOP arranged and based of kinds of library theoretical review. Abstract

ABSTRACT The study done in UPT Udayana University Library aimed at determining the weeding evaluation by using descriptive qualitative methods. The techniques of data collections used in this study are direct observation to the library, conducting interviews with informants, documentation and literature study. There are some informants in this study, such as : The Head of Udayana University Library, The Head Division of Library Material Development and Processing, The Head Division of Service, The Users at UPT Udayana University Library and The Lecture of D3 Library Science Udayana University.The results of this study shows that the lack of understanding of library administrators regarding on weeding the collection of library materials. Library administrators assume that they have to weed the collection every day during shelving. Nevertheless, there is still a collection of library materials that are less updated with damaged physical condition. Keywords: Library, Library Material, Weeding

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is how the fire disaster management planning in an effort to save the collection in the Perpustakaan Nasional RI using descriptive qualitative methods. Data sources in this study are primary data sources for interviews and secondary data sources for observation, documentation as well as from other sources such as books, journals and literature studies. Informants in this study were 4 (four) people who were the heads of the disaster preparedness team. Data analysis techniques used by the author are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusons. The results of this study indicate that the National Library of Indonesian has good building safety standards to prevent fire disaster which have fire protection equipment on each floor and have a disaster preparedness team. It aims to keep the entire collection in the National Library of Indonesia so that it remains safe. Keywords: Disaster Management Planning, Fire, Collection rescue
