Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Purpose of this research are: 1 Analyzing the working time household members of rubber farmers in rabumulih. 2. Analyzing the production and income of rubber farmers in Prabumulih. 3. Analyzing the behaviour of households (working time, production and consumption) of rubber farmers in Prabumulih. The results showed that: 1) household time allocation for productive activities which are highest in rubber farming activities (77.71%), then the non-rubber farm (15.27%) and lowest in non-farm activities (7.02%). 2) the largest income of household is from rubber farming (95.31%), then from the non-rubber farming (2.88%) and the smallest is obtained from non-farming activities (1.81%). 3) The behaviour of household working time is affected by total household expenditure, size of rubber land, farm land area of non-rubber, rubber farm income and the number of children under five. The behaviour of household production is influenced by the land area of rubber, non-rubber farming area, the outpouring of family labour on the farm of rubber, fertilizers and pesticides. Household consumption behaviour is influenced by total household income, an outpouring of work hours of household members in the rubber farming and the number of household members.Keywords: rubber farmer, working time, production, and behavior of household

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to calculate the amount of income from upland rice farming of Utan Antu Accession in a single growing season in Tuik Village, to analyze what inputs have real effects on the production of the said upland rice farming, to analyze the level of price efficiency in the use of input in the said upland rice farming. This research was conducted in September 2013 in Tuik Village, Kelapa District, West Bangka Regency. The research method used was survey and sampling method used in thisstudy was simple random with a sample size of 39 sample farmers. The analysis method used was multiple linear regressions analysis using function production analysis by Cobb-Douglas. The research shows that a one year rice need of the farm families can be met with the farming product of Utan Antu Accession in Tuik Village, which is 417.15 kilograms with an actual income of minus Rp 2,150,570.73 per growing season. The inputs that have real impact on the production is fertilizer input at an error rate of 5 percent and workforce at an error rate of 1 percent. Pesticides input has nosignificant impact, the use of fertilizer and labor inputs was not efficient in terms of price efficiency analysis.Keywords: Efficiency, upland rice, Utan Antu Accession

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of GAP, extension system characteristics, and the determinant factors that affect the competency of agricultural extension to GAP development ofhorticulture in Bangka Belitung Province. The data processed using analysis correlation coefficient analysis kendalls tau-b (r) and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) Implementation of GAP at three district study sites have not been going well because it is still hampered by various obstacles, such as the budget for training, technical knowledge about cultivation GAP extension and farmer mindset that says that according to the GAP farming costs expensive and long harvest age, (2) Characteristics of the extension system involves aspects of quantity and quality of inadequate extension 1 extension 1 village, as well as technical knowledge in accordance with GAP cultivation of plants is still low, which is done by the extension method in extension activities extensionis not GAP GAP appropriate so that development has not been achieved, (3) internal factors and external factors that affect the level of competency of agricultural extension in the development of GAP with the 95% confidence level is kekosmopolitan (X1.4), organizational structure (X2.1) and the support means (X2.3).Keywords: Competence, Agricultural Extension, Good Agricultural Practices

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the profile of the business of making cassava rice, cassava and rice marketing channels raise the profile of the business, the income received and the contribution to the family income of Sumber Jaya Farmers. Primary and secondary data were obtained and analyzed by study case method. The results show that the Sumber Jaya Farmers engaged in the processing of food crops to process cassava into cassava rice. Making rice cassava includes several stages, supplies of raw materials, stripping, washing, soaking, making flour, the first pressing, pulverization, pressing the second, the formation of granules, drying, packaging. Net revenues from the manufacture of cassava rice per month is Rp 1,064,283. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to: (1) Calculating the farmers income before and after implementation Rural Agribusiness Development Program (RADP) in the District OKU. (2) Analyze the effectiveness of RADP in the District OKU based on indicators of success set out in the Minister of Agriculture. The experiment was conducted in the District OKU with sample location in the Village of Sepancar Lawang Kulon Eastern Baturaja District and the Village Karang Endah West Baturaja District, using the survey method. The sampling is done by using disproportioned random sampling method, as much as 29 samples from the Village of Sepancar Lawang Kulon and 21 samples from the Village of Karang Endah who participated in the RADP implementation in the District OKU year 2010. The results showed that the income of farmers increased in the district OKU, where farmers income before the program PUAP year 2009 amounted to Rp 21.425.639,00 increased to Rp 34.058.657,00 after the program PUAP year 2010. RADP in the District OKU can be said to be effective seen from the indicators of success that includes the success of the output, outcome, the benefits and impact.Keywords : farmers’ income, effectiveness, impact, agribusiness program

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is: (1) to calculate the amount of imcome from white pepper plantation in Terentang III Village (2) to analyze what input that has real effect on the production of white pepper production in Terentang III Village, (3) to analyze the level of efficiency of input use in white pepper farming in Terentang III Village. The research shows that (1) the profit made from the white pepper farming in Terentang III Village in the first harvest is Rp 31 479 285, (2) the input of fertilizer (X1) andthe input of herbicide (X3) have significant effect on the production of white pepper on the level of trust of 95 percent, while the input of labors (X2) does not have significant effect on the production of white pepper on the level of trust of 95 percent, (3) the use of fertilizer input (X1), labor (X2), and herbicide (X3) in the white pepper farming in Terentang III Village is not yet efficient, hence the need of addition.Keywords: effect, efficiency, input, farming, white pepper

Abstract

The effort for a stronger of tourism sectors between Indonesia-Malaysia will be implemented if both country made the promotion partnership in tourism. This partnership is possibly to do between Indonesia-Malaysia because cultural and products similarities, many of tourist comes from intra-ASEAN. Indonesia-Malaysia extend in Malay Archipelago, from the cultural and geografics aspect endow of such uniquely of the tourism products, that’s make support each others whereas in one management (promotion) together. For this century, the tourists tend for journey and visiting more than one destination. Accross this partnership promotion, the tourism operator of two countries are also give some accommodation in transportation fares such as air, land,and sea transportations, hotels fares, tours, MICE (meeting, incentive, conference and exhibition), cruices and promotions by media. It is done by tourism product so that for the competitiveness quality product improved. Malaysia has 32 offices branch in overseas, and the smoothly for the tourism product of two countries. This promotion cooperation mandatory under Asia Tourism Forum (ATF) in Hanoi, July 2007. The official promotion actually agree between the Ministryof Tourism of Malaysia and Indonesia, this is not implement yet.
