JUSIFO (Jurnal Sistem Informasi) is published twice a year; in June and December. In this journal, reviewers will review any submitted paper. Review process employs a double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif dan efisiennya tata persuratan pada kampus Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Fatah Palembang setelah pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi secara elektronik (paperless office system) yang berbasis online dalam memproses pelayanan surat masuk. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam tata persuratan merupakan suatu manajemen tata persuratan suatu instansi dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi berupa media komputer, internet atau media lainnya baik menggunakan sistem secara manual maupun secara elektronik. Pokok pembahasan dalam penelitian ini adalah seberapa efektifnya pemrosesan pelayanan surat masuk dengan sistem elektronik serta kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam menerapkan kedua sistem tersebut pada manajemen persuratan. Hasil dari penelitian ini, Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Fatah Palembang dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi secara elektronik sudah berjalan lebih lancar dan sangat efektif, khususnya dalam pemrosesan surat masuk. Sedangkan untuk pengurusan surat keluar belum dapat diterapkan karena sistem aplikasi belum sesuai dengan prosedur sehingga pelaksanaannya masih secara manual.

Abstract

Salah satu sistem yang dapat diterapkan dalam perusahaan, baik skala kecil hingga berskala besar, adalah sistem Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Salah satu komponen yang terdapat pada sistem ERP adalah fungsi bisnis penjualan atau transaksi yang melibatkan perusahaan dengan pelanggan. Pemanfaatan teknologi yang digunakan saat ini untuk mengatasi tumpukan pelanggan adalah teknologi barcode. Teknologi barcode memiliki kekurangan aspek kecepatan dan jarak area identifikasi untuk dalam proses identifikasi setiap label yang terdapat pada setiap barang. Kelemahan dari barcode dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan teknologi RFID, baik yang bersifat Passive maupun Active. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan analisis kelayakan penerapan RFID pada fungsi bisnis penjualan di sebuah perusahaan ritel berskala besar. Analisis kelayakan dilakukan dengan melihat dari aspek TELOS dengan melibatkan manajer penjualan, calon pengguna, manajer IT, pelanggan, dan ahli IT sebagai penilai setiap faktor. Nilai akhir TELOS sebesar 8.2 menunjukkan bahwa teknologi RFID dapat diterapkan pada fungsi bisnis penjualan di masa depan.

Abstract

Currently the need for the use of information systems has become important for institution and organizations. The use of information systems has also expanded to various fields, namely educational institutions. However, on the other hand information can be an important security gap. The important information that falls to other parties can result in loss to the owner of the information. This study aims to conduct an internal assessment of information security risks from the use of information systems, so that it can be seen what risks are very high and need to be mitigated. In this study, the Octave Allegro framework was used to conduct an internal assessment. The steps taken in conducting an information security risk assessment consist of 8 steps. Each step produces an output that is used as the basis for evaluating the next step. There are 2 areas that need attention and become the focus of improvement. Information security risk management needs to be carried out and monitored closely and regularly against risks that are determined to be important and have a high risk probability.

Abstract

E-LKP adalah lembar kinerja pegawai yang diakses secara online dan berbasis web. Aplikasi E-LKP Perguruan Tinggi Negeri X tercipta untuk menghitung kinerja pegawai dimana hasil dari perhitungan tersebut akan diimplementasikan untuk remunerasi. Lembar kinerja pegawai dapat diakses secara online dan hanya pegawai yang dapat remunerasi beserta admin pada Perguruan Tinggi Negeri X saja yang bisa login atau menggunakannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis risiko keamanan sistem informasi E-LKP Perguruan Tinggi Negeri X sesuai dengan metode OCTAVE. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dapat mengetahui risiko apa saja yang akan terjadi dan dapat mencegah risiko pada keamanan sistem informasi E-LKP Perguruan Tinggi Negeri X dan SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) yang direkomendasikan diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam menangani risiko-risiko yang akan terjadi pada sistem informasi E-LKP Perguruan Tinggi Negeri X.

Abstract

In North Maluku, especially in Ternate, many football schools have been opened to train and find potential Indonesian National players. One of them has contributed to producing Indonesian National player candidates, namely Sekolah Sepak Bola (SSB) Tunas Gamalama. The problems that occur at this time at SSB Tunas Gamalama, managers and coaches are difficult to determine the ideal player to fill each position. Oftentimes, SSB Tunas Gamalama students choose a position according to their idol football players, and also because of the popularity of these positions. The tendency of SSB Tunas Gamalama students to be like this results in an imbalance of potential players in certain position. During this time the coach takes a long time and is often subjective in selecting players at every position available. In this research, the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method was used as a method of decision support. This article aims to build a Decision Support System (DSS) in determining the ideal football player based on the player's position (The idealPosition System) using the TOPSIS method. This research produces DSS which can be used to determine the ideal soccer player based on the player's position.

Abstract

The development of the internet and the implementation of technology that makes it easier for users to increasingly influence the business sector. Business people are starting to take advantage of the internet and technology to run their business or so-called E-Commerce. Denia Donuts Shop is an online shop that sells donuts in South Sumatera. The problems that occur, even though this store has marketed its products online, shop owners still use social media only in the process of transactions with consumers. This becomes very difficult when consumers want to make a purchase, consumers must send messages according to the format determined by the shop's owner, this method is made very difficult for consumers every time they make a purchase. On the other hand, the shop owner also finds it difficult to find product information, stock information, find out which consumers have bought during a certain period, and sales reports that are still recorded in a book. This article aims to build E-Commerce at Denia Donuts Shop that can help in marketing products widely and facilitate the process of transactions carried out by consumers. The system development method used is the prototype method. This research has resulted in an E-Commerce system that has been tested using the black box testing method and has been implemented in accordance with user requirements specifications.

Abstract

Gadgets are generally used by individuals to help increase their knowledge, facilitate communication, and also accelerate the development of scientific information. The use of gadgets such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, or iPads has become a habit among students. The students use gadgets for their daily needs. The convenience offered by using gadgets makes students need to be wise in using gadgets. The students can easily search for the lecture materials, take online classes, communicate in a virtual classroom, and see the results of their studies. However, gadgets also have a negative side. Some of the negative effects of the use of gadgets, such as addiction to playing online games, reduced face-to-face interaction, cheating on exams. This article aims to build a classification application for the level of influence of gadget use on the maturity of students' emotional intelligence using the Naïve Bayes method. From this research, the classification application for the level of influence of gadget use on the maturity of student's emotional intelligence using the Naïve Bayes method has been created. The test results of this application show an accuracy of 82%.

Abstract

One of the container media that is available and popular is the Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) format image. This article aims to determine the effect of Quality Factor on the secret message capacity of JPEG image steganography and stego image quality. The quality of an image can actually be seen subjectively with the human eye, but this is relative between each individual. Because the assessment of the human eye varies from person to person. In addition, the effect of Quality Factor on secret message capacity is not yet known whether it has an impact. Therefore, in this study the Quality Factor is used to objectively see the secret message capacity of the JPEG image steganography and the quality of the stego image. The parameter used to determine the quality of an image is the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR). PSNR will compare the quality of the original image (before steganography) with the stego image. The test results show that the Q Factor effect can affect the secret message capacity of the JPEG image steganography and the stego image quality. The bigger the Q Factor, the more the message capacity is generated. The greater the Q factor, the better the quality of the resulting stego image.

Abstract

Confidentiality in transfer the messages is an important thing to maintain. Increased security in transfer the messages can be improved using cryptography and steganography. This article aims to apply a combination of AES 128 cryptography and LSB steganography in an application, and measures the quality of the stego-image. In this article, the AES 128 algorithm is used for the encryption process of secret messages and the LSB algorithm for the process of inserting secret messages in the cover image. PSNR is used to measure the quality of the stego-image, by comparing the cover image and the stego-image. This research produces an application that can be used for the security of sending text messages by combining the AES 128 algorithm in the plaintext encryption and the LSB algorithm in the secret message insertion process. In term of measuring the quality of the stego-image, it was found that the character length of the secret message would have an impact on the MSE and PSNR values. This means, the longer the character of the secret message will affect the quality of the stego-image.

Abstract

Songket Sambas (Kain Lunggi) is a gold thread cloth typical of the culture of the Sambas people. The Sambas songket craftsmen have used social media a lot in marketing their products. The selection of the right social media in product marketing can help increase sales of Sambas songket. It can be the key to success in expanding Sambas songket sales to various regions. This study aims to apply the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in the selection of social media that is widely used as the right Sambas songket marketing media. In this study, the AHP method was used as a method for decision making. In determining the pairwise comparison matrix, Sambas songket craftsmen were involved. The criteria used are age range (C1), gender (C2), number of users (C3), level of popularity (C4). From this study, we have the value of Facebook is 0.82, Instagram is 0.60, Youtube is 0.06, Twitter is 0.04. The final priority result of the right social media to use with the first order is Facebook.
