<![CDATA[The impact of media, Determination Agenda (Agenda Setting) and Theory of The Spiral Of Silence is a three-part study of the theory of Mass Communication. Theories about the impact of the mass media is divided into four stages: All-powerful media, Theory of powerful media put to the test, Powerful media rediscovered, and Negotiated media influence. Determination of the Agenda (Agenda Setting) is a process of media influence either expected or unexpected in which the relative importance of the events reported, or character issues that affect memory in the minds of the public and the relative importance in news reporting. Assuming that the media attention in revealing a topic that is associated with the news audience. Indirect influence of the media on opinion but only on what is thought by societies. The Spiral Of Silence Theory states that individuals have the sense organs similar to the statistics used to determine the opinions and modes of behavior which are approved or not approved by their environment, as well as "opinions and forms of behavior which are gaining or losing strength. The media can be influential in the spiral of silence in three ways: (1) the mass media form an impression of the dominant opinion; (2) the mass media form an impression of the opinions which are on the rise; and (3) the mass media form an impression about which opinion may be delivered in public without being marginalized.]]>

<![CDATA[Character Building is a conscious effort to cultivate a personality as the distinguishing feature between one individual to individual. Personality that includes how to behave and how to think in terms of personal and social activities. Character building works on various aspects of moral education, civic education, and character development. Each component provides a pressure difference on what is important and what should be taught. It must be multilevel and multichannel as unlikely to be implemented by one party alone. Formation needs exemplary character, the real behavior in the setting of an authentic life and not bias built instantly. Therefore, character education must be a moral movement that is holistic, involving various stakeholders and paths, and takes place in the setting of alamiah.Novel life is a form of modern literature. As a form of literature, he presents something expressive. The story is in the literature are usually sourced from the fictitious but does not rule out also sourced from the real thing. Literature for some people keep a mistery. Eventhough, Thus, literature, especially the novel contains certain values such as kindness that can affect the life and virtues of some one lifes. Virtues that are offered in the novel and capable captured by the public usually is a novel written by emphasizing the moral goodness packed in implicit mandate. Novelist sometimes not explicitly stated mandate contained in the novel. Everything is left to the reader to find his own mandate that novel. In this case the novel that made the object of study is a novel titled "Tell Your Father, I am Moslem: When the Heart Must Fight Logic.]]>

<![CDATA[The term gender mainstreaming (PUG) refers to the understanding that the concept of gender should be encouraged to be understood by the public. Which emphasizes the aspect of gender equality and social justice role, must be maximized, so that domination and "oppression" of women can be minimized. PUG concept inevitably be faced with socio-cultural and political realities of society, which is still very dominant with a patriarchal culture. The power of patriarchal culture (male power) already attached so strong in the community, even the legitimacy of the woman. This article also wants to raise the issue of the implementation of gender mainstreaming in the context of the strong theoretical patriarchy. This theoretical study shows that the various elements of society, patriarchal culture is still maintained and there is justification to continue. Eventhough, it also related to religious beliefs and traditions that take place. On the other side of a patriarchal culture has also strengthened with the emergence of popular culture which emphasizes aspects of the material, so that women often used as commodities. This further reinforces the patriarchal culture, as well as challenges for PUG.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper talks about dakwah in the global era. In this global era as disclosed above relative regional barriers fade with tools of communication technology. Everything is a challenge for dakwah Islamiyah if preaching Islamic thought activity does not take part in the process. The formulation of the problem to be addressed in this study is a global of dakwah Islamiah? Or whether Islam is in line with the prevailing globalization process? The fact that there is and texts are found in the Qur'an shows that Islam is the religion of Islam global. It means that is intended for mankind on this earth without exception, do not look at race, color or ethnicity differences in language capable. <![CDATA[Islam can not be separated by dakwah, adherents were also not able to separate dakwah from the practice of Islam itself. Qur'an as a way of life many revealing various aspects of human life by emphasizing the importance of social development, but Indonesia as a country with a Muslim majority in fact still experiencing a variety of social issues, such as poverty, ignorance, and a variety of helplessness in the field social, whereas the expression of wisdom explained that poverty is the infidelity.
