Abstract

Roof material preferences for housing can be influenced from the location of the respondents, local climate, culture, knowledge and comfortable condition of the occupants. The aim of this research is to get the reasons behind the selection of roof material for housing. Quantitative method is used in this research by collecting data of online questionnaire. This online questionnaire is distributed using convenient sampling method (snowball-non-random-sampling). It was found the tendency of respondents who choose clay tile because of the comfort and affordability of the price. The tendency of respondents who choose ceramic tile and natural wood tile because of their beauty and sustaniability materials. Concrete is selected by respondents because of their durability and strength. Respondents who have tendency in Zinc, asbestos are selected because zinc and asbestos are easy to apply and commonly materials in their areas. Asphalt, metal, and PVC / galvalum / fiber are chosen by respondents for being lightweight materials.

Abstract

Empowering interior design to lead to better development can be done from small things such as paying attention to the means of education for autistic children. Interior designers can play a role in building educational facilities in accordance with the behavior of children with autism. Autistic behavior can be caused by not being able to process information properly from the stimuli of the physical environment (space) around it. The purpose of this study is to analyze the behavior of children with autism as a first step if they want to build an interior design for children with autism education in accordance with the behavior, so it is expected that if they know the behavior in the room, then the interior designer can design the educational facilities according to their needs and will maximum. The limitation of this study is only to analyze the behavior of autistic children in the therapy room according to the researcher's perspective as an interior designer. The method used is observation of children's behavior in the room during the therapy process, using video recorders. Analysis was carried out by anova statistical test. The results showed that there were differences in the number of children's behavior in the room when with the therapist and when alone. Before the therapy process takes place, the child will carry out the adaptation phase, showing curiosity whether the space / object makes the child comfortable / uncomfortable. In addition, children have the same behavior that is easily distracted with interior elements.

Abstract

Indonesia is an inseparable state of the earthquake. As a result of the earthquake, many victims lost their homes. The victims had to stay in isolation for a long time. From that, the victim needs assistance in the form of shelter, but the housing can’t be built easily. Then a temporary building is needed a transition phase to house assistance is still being developed. The government is currently unable to provide maximum temporary shelter. The purpose of this study is to find the right model for temporary shelter assistance in post-disaster situations used in refugee locations in Indonesia and abroad. The research method uses a literature review by comparing the temporary shelter model and the study model as a comparison of occupancy dimensions. Temporary shelter is the residence required during post-disaster and can be produced in fabrication. Fabrication for temporary housing is related to connection, material, packaging, demolition, and distribution system. It aims to maximize on-site assistance, facilitating the installation and distribution of temporary shelter.

Abstract

Kawasan industri tepung tapioka sebagai kawasan perdagangan daerah Pati, merupakan pusat perkembangan karena daerah tersebut merupakan daerah perdagangan yang ramai. Bangunannya menjadi ciri khas di industri tepung tapioka merupakan gabungan bangunan dengan fungsi hunian dan industri , kemudian dikenal dengan sebutan rumah-industri. Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perubahan pola tata ruang pada lingkungan yang terjadi di kawasan industri tepung tapioka desa Ngemplak kidul, dilatar belakangi akibat dampak kegiatan industri tepung tapioka. Pada awalnya, fungsi rumah-industri masih seimbang antara fungsi hunian dan indsutri, namun perkembangan zaman serta meningkatnya aktivitas kegiatan produksi, menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan pola tata ruang pada lingkungan. Menggunakan teori arsitektur tata ruang, hubungan ruang untuk mengetahui perubahan tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian pada bangunan dan lingkungan rumah-industri di kawasan kampung industri tapioka di Pati yang merupakan daerah sentra industri. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui: 1) pola tata ruang pada lingkungan yang berubah 2) Mencari faktor-faktor kegiatan industri yang diduga menjadi penyebab terjadinya perubahan pola tata ruang pada lingkungan. Hasil dari dua hal tersebut akan dirumuskan suatu tipe atau karakteristik perubahan yang terjadi pada lingkungan indsutri di kawasan industri tapioka Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis kualititatif. Dari keseluruhan proses penelitian diperolah hasil bahwa, karakteristik dari Pengaruh Kegiatan Produksi Terhadap Pola Tata Ruang Pada Lingkungan Desa Industri Tepung Tapioka Di Pati Perubahan ini banyak terjadi pada lingkungan industri.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan memperkenalkan fondasi anti banjir bernama Ark’a Modulam, terutama Tipe Alt.3 Pola Konstruski A – 2.1. Pola konstrusi ini merupakan hasil penelitian tahun pertama dari 3 (tiga) tahun penelitian yang direncanakan (2017 s/d 2019). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya banjir yang semakin melanda rumah-rumah bertiang tinggi yang ada di dataran banjir (floodplain), terutama di Kalimantan, sehingga perlu dikembangkan alternatif baru tentang konstruksi fondasi agar rumah-rumah tersebut tak kebanjiran. Untuk merumuskan alternatif baru tersebut, metode yang digunakan adalah metode perancangan rekayasa. Temuan hasil perancangan rekayasa kemudian di uji coba di suatu dataran banjir di Palangka Raya, dan diketahui : 1). Konstruksi apung mulai terangkat saat air mencapai tinggi 115 cm, 2). Tinggi drum plastik yang tenggelam saat konstruksi apung mengapung adalah : 12 cm dan 3). Konstruski Apung kembali ke posisi semula pada konstruksi landasan saat air kembali surut. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba tersebut, selanjutnya didiskripsikan pembahasan guna mendukung permukiman anti banjir. Diharapkan tulisan dapat bermanfaat dalam mengembangkan rumah anti banjir, terutama dalam permukiman dataran banjir di perkotaan-perkotaan Kalimantan.

Abstract

Malang city is one leading city in tourism field that embodied concept of Tribina Cita Kota Malang where part of it is to make Malang as tourism city. Aside as a tourist destination, Malang also grows as service, trade and industrial city. By these enormous economic and trade abilities will be able to change the orientation from a tourism city into a shopping tourism city. Kampung Batik Celaket area is increasingly recognized in public eye by many physical and non physical improvements also icons creation inside Kampung Batik Celaket environment. There are five factors as design reference: factors of location, environtmental athmosphere, outdoor layout, road circulation system, and facade of buildings. These factors will be arranged into good construction in order to give comfort and safety in its shopping athmosphere.To begin with, these factors must undergo a research to understand their characteristics, so the result study can be used as a reference for planning and designing area of Kampung Batik Celaket to be one ideal, feasible and productive village.This study conducted directly on site which began from surveys, interviews, and extraction important elements through visual studies.Then, the obtainable data are tested for formulating reccommendations of designs from each subregion.
