Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untukuntuk mengembangkan SSP berbasis keunggulan lokal yang layak dipergunakan dalam meningkatkan literasi sains dan kepedulian lingkungan siswa MTs. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metode Borg Gall. Subjek uji coba lapangan terdiri dari 50 orang siswa kelas VII MTs Manbaul Ulum. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa SSP yang telah dikembangkan layak dipergunakan, berdasarkan hasil penilaian validator “sangat baik” dan berdasarkan hasil uji beda antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata nilai literasi sains antara dua kelas tersebut yaitu terdapat peningkatan literasi sains siswa menggunakan SSP berbasis kearifan lokal yang dikembangkan.Kata kunci: SSP, keunggulan lokal, literasi sains, dan kepedulian lingkungan Developing of Essence and Energy SSP Based on Local Wisdom to Improve Literacy Science and Environmental Care Of Students of MTs  AbstractThis research aims todevelop appropriate subject specific pedagogy based on local wisdom to improveliteracy science and environmental care of students of madrasah Tsanawiyah. This research is used the research and development (RD) of Borg Gall model.The research subjects in the main field testing were 50 students of class VII MTs Manbaul ‘Ulum. The result of this research shows that the sets of integrated science learning equipment based on local wisdom is feasible to increase the student`s  literacy of science. It can be seen from the validator assessment, i.e. grade A or very good. This feasibiliy is also supported by Manova test on the difference of grades study results, literacy science mean score between the experimental class and control class, there is an increase of literacy science using SSP based on local wisdom that was developed.Keywords: SSP,local wisdom, literacy science, and environmental care

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran biologi berbasis Model Susan Loucks Horsley setting outdoor activities untuk penumbuhkembangan keterampilan proses sains dan karakter peduli lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (RD) yang dikembangkan oleh BorgGall. Uji coba lapangan menggunakan dua kelas yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah konversi skor ke nilai. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, independent sample t-test dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis model Susan Loucks Horsley setting outdoor activities ini memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam menumbuhkembangkan keterampilan proses sains dan karakter peduli lingkungan peserta didik. Kevalidan produk terlihat dari hasil uji validasi yang menyatakan bahwa produk mencapai kriteria sangat valid. Kepraktisan produk terlihat dari hasil pengisian lembar respon peserta didik menunjukkan kriteria sangat praktis untuk handout dan proses pembelajaran serta praktis untuk LKPD; dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang berada pada kisaran 91,7% sampai 100%. Keefektifan didukung dengan hasil uji beda antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar,dan skor angket karakter kepedulian lingkungan yang signifikan antara dua kelas tersebut dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05.Kata Kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran, keterampilan proses sains, karakter peduli lingkungan Developing of SLH’s Model of SSP to Increase Student’s Science Process Skills and Environmental Care  AbstractThis study aims to investigate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of biology tool based learning model of Susan Loucks Horsley setting outdoor activities to increase science process skills and environmental care. This study used research and development (RD) of Borg Gall. Try out was conducted by using two classes which were selected using simple random sampling technique. The data analysis technique was the score conversion into grades. Then it was followed by normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-testwith a significance level of 0.05. The results of this research shows that the sets based-learning of Susan Loucks Horsley’s model with setting outdoor activities meets the criteria for  validity, practicality, and effectiveness to increase science process skills and environmental care of the students. Validity of the products shown on the validation test results stating that the product reaches a very valid criteria. Practicality of the product seen from the results of the student’s response sheets which shows a very practical criteria for handouts and learning processes as well as practical for LKPD; and observation sheet feasibility study shows that apercentage feasibility study which is in the range of 91,7% until 100%. This effectiveness is also supported by t-test indicating the difference of grades study results, science process skills and environmental care of the score mean between the control and experimental class is significant with significance level of 0.05. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran fisika model problem based learning melalui kegiatan fieldtrip yang layak, (2) mengidentifikasi hasil belajar fisika berupa aspek kognitif, minat belajar, dan berpikir kreatif. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Validasi dilakukan oleh dua dosen ahli dan uji keterbacaan diujicobakan pada peserta didik. Subjek coba dilakukan pada kelas XI SMA sebanyak 30 peserta didik. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara, angket, dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis isi dan analisis deskriptif presentase. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah: (1) perangkat pembelajaran fisika dinyatakan layak dengan kriteria baik, (2) hasil belajar pada aspek kognitif diperoleh rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 62,93, dan rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 57,20. Hasil minat belajar peserta didik, pada kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata sebesar 67,50, dan pada kelas kontrol memiliki rata-rata sebesar 65,65. Sedangkan hasil belajar berpikir kreatif peserta didik diperoleh rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 74,91, dan rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 65,56.Kata Kunci: model problem based learning, fieldtrip, hasil belajar, kognitif, minat belajar, berpikir kreatif, perangkat pembelajaran fisika. A Problem Based Learning Model in Physics Learning Equipment Development Through a Fieldtrip Activity in Energy Material AbstractThis research was aimed to: (1) yield a learning-based problem model of physics learning equipment through a feasible fieldtrip, (2) identify physics learning results in the forms of cognitive aspect, learning interest and learner creative thinking from physics learning implementation with a problem-based learning model through a fieldtrip activity.This was a research and development research. The validation towards learning equipment was conducted by two expert lecturers and learning equipment readable was experimented to the learners. The experimented subject was conducted in XI Senior High School grade numbered 30 learners. Data gathering instrument used  interview guide, questionnaire and observation. Data analysis was conducted by a content analysis and percentage descriptive analysis. It could be concluded that: (1) physics learning equipment was declared feasible with good criteria, (2) learning results in cognitive aspect in the experimental class obtained average of 62.93 and controlled class average of 57.20. The results of learners learning interest in the experimental class had an average of 67.50 and controlled class average was 65.56. While learning result of learner creative thinking was obtained experimental class average of 74.91 and controlled class average of 65.56. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui karakteristik performance assessment yang valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur practical skills IPA pada guided-PjBL, (2) mendeskripsikan practical skills IPA yang muncul pada guided-PjBL, dan (3) mengetahui peta practical skills IPA siswa SMP menggunakan performance assessment. Penelitian ini merupakan Research Development dengan menggunakan model 4-D Thiagarajan, et al. (1974). Subjek uji coba adalah siswa kelas VII di SMPN 1 Wonosari, SMPN 4 Playen, dan SMPN 5 Ngawen.Teknik pengambilan data meliputi wawancara, angket, dan nontes. Instrumen pengambilan data meliputi pedoman wawancara, lembar angket, dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu performance assessment dalam bentuk lembar observasi dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Practical skills IPAyang muncul pada guided-PjBL meliputi: merancang proyek; menggunakan termometer dan indikator universal; membaca hasil pengukuran suhu dan pH; membuat tabel; menentukan variabel bebas dan terikat; membuat grafik; mengetahui hubungan antar-variabel; dan membuat kesimpulan. Siswa pada sekolah kategori tinggi memiliki tingkat kemampuan practical skills paling tinggi bila dibandingkan dengan siswa pada sekolah kategori sedang dan rendah. Siswa pada sekolah kategori sedang memiliki tingkat kemampuan practical skills paling rendah.Kata Kunci: performance assessment, lembar observasi, guided-PjBL, practical skills IPA Developing Performance Assessment to Map Science Practical Skills on Guided-PjBL AbstractThis study aims to: (1)find out the characteristic of performance assessment that is valid and reliable to measure science practical skills on guided-PjBL, (2) describe science practical skills that appear on guided-PjBL, and (3) find out the map student’s science practical skills in junior high school to use performance assessment on guided-PjBL. This was a research and development study employing the development model by Thiagarajan et al. (1974).The tryout subjects were junior high school student in SMPN 1 Wonosari, SMPN 4 Playen, and SMPN 5 Ngawen. The data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and nontests. The data collecting instruments included an interview guided, validation questionnaire sheets, and observation sheets. The result of the study was the product of performance assessment in observation sheet form was valid and reliable. Science practical skills that appear on guided-PjBL. included: designing project; using thermometre and universal indicator; reading temperature and pH measurement; creating table; defining independent-dependent variable; creating graph; find out relation between variable; and drawing conclusion. The students in the school with the high category have the highest science practical skills of the three schools. The students in the school with the low category have higher science practical skills than students in high grade school.Keywords: performance assessment, observation sheet, guided-PjBL, science practical skills
