Abstract

High turnover intention in an organizations is a wonder that regularly happens. Turnover intention refers to an individual assessment of the continuation of a relationship with an organization that has not yet been acknowledged through leaving the organizations. Numerous things can be the reason for somebody find employment elsewhere. In this research work engagement, job insecurity, and psychological work environment found to significantly affect turnover intention of health workers, and job insecurity and psychological work environment found to significantly affect work engagement. This research also found the mediation effect of work engagement on the correlation from psychological work environment and turnover intention and also the mediation effect of work engagement on the correlation from job insecurity and turnover intention.

Abstract

The World Bank estimates that the global economic outlook during the COVID-19 pandemic will change and have an impact on the short and long term. Monetary policy supports a reduction in the recession caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Islamic banks with good financial performance will be able to carry out their functions properly. comparing the current ratio with the past can be used as a predictive tool for banking in the future. This study analyzes the comparison of financial performance before and during the covid-19 pandemic using the following ratios: ROA, FDR, NPF, BOPO. The research is a comparative research. The sample in this study were 14 Islamic Commercial Banks. The research data is in the form of secondary data, namely quarterly financial ratio. The data analysis method uses the normality test and the difference test. The results of the study are that there is no difference in the performance of ROA, FDR, NPF and BOPO between before the 2019 pandemic and when the covid 19 pandemic occurred in 2020. Sharia banking during the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020 still performed well because it had a performance predicate that was not worse than in 2020.

Abstract

This study to examine the effect of brand image, trust, and Instagram social media on new student decision making in determining higher education levels.. This study involved 210 new students of Kusuma Husada University Surakarta as subjects in the study. This study uses a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with AMOS Software as a data analysis and testing tool. The measurement or testing is carried out using four stages of testing, namely using the t test or partial testing of brand image, trust, in decision making with the results of the Sig value below (0.05). This study confirms brand image, and trust was found to have a significant effect on Instagram social media, and finally Instagram social media was found to mediate the influence of brand image and trust on the decision making of new students at Kusuma Husada University Surakarta. This study can be used as a reference by marketing management practitioners in designing alternative strategies to improve brand image and consumer confidence and increase consumer confidence in making decisions in choosing a product or service.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of dividend payments, the global financial crisis, internal finance, and external finance on the company's sales growth in Indonesia. There are several control variables such as size, leverage, profitability, and past growth assets. The reason for taking this research sample in Indonesia is because Indonesia is one of the developing countries whose economy is currently growing even though it is being hit by the Covid 19 pandemic. Investment is a good climate in Indonesia for sales growth. And also still few studies describe this research. The sample used is the consumer goods sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period as many as 21 companies selected using purposive sampling technique. This study uses panel data regression analysis and moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results showed that dividend payments influenced the company's sales growth. Meanwhile, the variables of the global financial crisis, internal finance and external finance had no effect on the company's sales growth. Then the variables of size, leverage, profitability, and past assets as control variables have no effect on the company's sales growth as control variables.

Abstract

Currently the banking industry has undergone major changes in recent years due to regulatory deregulation. Seeing this, in implementing it, banks must be managed more carefully, one of which is by maintaining it. Banking instability occurs because banks face too many risks. The purpose of this study is to examine how the influence of competition and profitability on banks in the Indonesian banking industry. The population used is commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. A series of indicators from internal and external banks are also used in this study to support the research results, which consist of bank size, concentration, inflation, and GDP. That is, banking is measured using three risks, credit risk with NPL proxy, liquidity risk with LDR proxy, and insolvency risk with Z-score proxy. Using panel data analysis, the following results were found in the 2015-2019 research period, competition had a positive and insignificant effect on credit risk, competition had a negative and insignificant effect on liquidity risk and insolvency risk. Profitability has a negative and significant effect on credit risk and insolvency risk, and profitability has a positive and insignificant effect on liquidity risk.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare the performance of Islamic banking in Turkey, Malaysia and Indonesia which consists of CAR, FAR, FDR, BOPO, Company Size, Inflation, Interest Rates, Exchange Rate, GDP, Asset Growth Rate, Business Risk, ROA. The sample in this study used purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 5 Islamic banks in Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia. The data used is secondary data in the form of quarterly reports or financial reports through the official website of each Islamic bank. Researchers processed the data obtained based on purposive sampling using the annual reports of Islamic banking in Indonesia, Malaysia and Turkey in 2013-2020. The results show that BOPO on Business Risk is not significant in Turkey and Malaysia, but significant in Indonesia. CAR, FAR, and Exchange Rate against Business Risk are not significant in Turkey, Malaysia and Indonesia. FDR on Business Risk is not significant in Turkey and Indonesia, but significant in Malaysia. GDP, Interest Rate, Firm Size, Inflation, Asset Growth Rate to Business Risk are not significant in Malaysia and Indonesia, but significant in Turkey. BOPO to ROA is not significant in Turkey and Indonesia, but significant in Malaysia. CAR FAR Inflation Exchange Rate Asset Growth Interest rates on ROA are not significant in Turkey, Malaysia and Indonesia. GDP to ROA is not significant in Malaysia and Indonesia, but significant in Turkey. Firm size on ROA is not significant in Malaysia and Indonesia, but significant in Turkey. CAR FAR FDR to Asset Growth Rate is not significant in Turkey, Malaysia and Indonesia. Firm Size to Asset Growth Rate is not significant in Turkey, Malaysia and Indonesia. BOPO, Inflation, Exchange Rate, GDP to Asset Growth are not significant in Turkey and Malaysia, but significant in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the perceived influence of digital influencers on the purchase intention of brand recommendations by influencers who influence their followers. This research has two mediating variables: brand attachment in self-concept and expected brand value. This type of research is quantitative research, and the method used is convenience sampling with the criteria that respondents have followed the Instagram accounts of Muslim fashion brand digital influencers aged 18-27 years old and living in Indonesia. The method used is an online survey and sharing on their social media. The total sample used for this study was 150 respondents. The final results of this study indicate that perceived influence positively impacts brand engagement, brand expected value, and intention to buy recommended brands. Besides that, brand engagement also influences brand expected value. Lastly, both brand engagement and brand expected value positively impact the intention to buy the recommended brand.
