Abstract

Family support in hypertensive patients during treatment if not well then the role of family maintenance is not good. Support family members in treatment will help to determine the success of the implementation of such treatments. support is not limited to family members on financial matters, but also on the willingness of family members to accompany patients when needed. By using this type of qualitative research with the phenomenological approach to research was conducted in hypertensive patients at the health center Candirejo Magetan in December 2012 to see family support in the management of hypertension in the Health Center Candirejo Magetan. From these studies can be from six informants who have emotional support, instrumental support and the support of good information, such as meeting all the needs of informants, give love, to finance treatment and provide information about the treatment of hypertension to the informant. While the appreciation of the support of all informants has gotten positive support.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that affects most women over the age of 18 or women of childbearing age. This cancer is the second deadliest cancer in the world after breast cancer (IARC, 2010).The anatomic location of the neck of the uterus or cervix is located inside the woman's body causes difficult to see signs appear physiologically. On the other hand the lack of knowledge of a woman neighbor and how to prevent cervical cancer and early detection is also one of the factors that affect a woman who had cervical cancer entered into the phase of the advanced stage to lead to death. In this study, the authors will take a single location within a community member in it all of a woman aged 30-60 years as many as 86 people are in association branches located in the district Aisyiyah Kartasura, Pucangan village. Researchers will divide the group into two groups with the different treatment given, namely the control group were 43 persons with health education is given through lectures from researchers and experiment groups given 43 models of a peer group with a sampling multistage random sampling technique . The results of this study showed there is significant health education with behavioral models of the Peer Group on Mother did Cervical Cancer Early Detection between the experimental group with the control group. The behavior of a mother with stats early detection of cervical cancer both in the experimental group on the post-test either Behaviour there were 27 ( 62.8 %), the behavior is quite 5 people ( 11.6 % ) and poor as many as 11 people ( 25.6 % ). whereas the behavior of the control group at post-test behavioral changes of 34 ( 79.1 % ) respondents was less supportive reduced to 5 respondents (11.6 % ) who behave fairly but found the existence of respondents who support either as many as 4 people ( 9, 3 % ).

Abstract

Breast milk is the natural first food from babies, but not all babies are breastfeed. Breast milk contains all the energy and nutrients that the baby needs. But in reality not all mothers breastfeed exclusively to his son at the age of 1-6 months. Mothers with weaning has its own assessment why do weaning. purpose of this research aim to know correlation weaning of early age child (1-6 months) with growth in Sragen Kulon village of Sragen. This research is non-experimental, descriptive comparative research design. Taking data use used cross-sectional approach. Sample are children early weaning yet for age (1-6 months) are: 30 children. Sample of children who performed early weaning age (1-6 months) are 32. Sampling was carried out on children who are not weaning using simple random sampling method. Weaning children performed using total sampling. Research instrument using a tape measure and a scale to determine the child's growth. Data analysis use Fisher exact test. Results there is impact weaning of early age child (1-6 months) with growth in Sragen Kulon village of Sragen. adverse impact on early childhood (1-6 months) 84,4%. of children who were weaned early have normal growth and 86,7% of children who are not weaned also have normal growth. There is no correlation weaning of early age child (1-6 months) with growth in Sragen Kulon village of Sragen with p-value = 0.798.

Abstract

Children who are hospitalized will easily experience crises and problems such as anxiety. One way to reduce anxiety is to provide super bubble play therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of super bubble play therapy on anxiety levels in preschool children. The method used was a pre-experimental type of one group posttest. The sample used was children aged between 4 to 5 years (preschool age) who had been hospitalized in Pandan Arang Boyolali Regional Hospital during the past month, namely 16 children and had undergone hospitalization on the second day using accidental sampling techniques and using t-test. The results showed that there was an influence of super bubble play therapy on the level of anxiety in preschoolers who were hospitalized in the Children's Room of Pandan Arang Boyolali Regional Hospital (p = 0,000). The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of super bubble play therapy on the level of anxiety in preschool children who are hospitalized in the Children's Room of Pandan Arang Boyolali Regional Hospital

Abstract

: Cervical cancer is a gynecological disease that causes the most deaths, especially in developing countries. Chemotheraphy is the major alternative treatment of cervical cancer. Chemotheraphy has an impact in many sector of life. Among others, the physical and psychological impact such as psychosocial stress felt by most of women after cervical cancer diagnosis and during treatment. Purpose of this study is to find a representation related to physical and psycological respons in cervical cancer survivor under the chemotheraphy in RSUD Dr Moewardi Surakarta. The design of this research is a qualitative research. Methods: This research is using a phenomenological approach and purposive sampling technique. The number of participant is 8 women who are diagnosed with cervical cancer stage IIB to IVA and had been on chemotheraphy at least 2 times. The methods of data collection is using depth interviews with structure interview technique, observation, field notes, tape recorders and cameras. The result of the study in physical respons includes nausea and vomit, constipation, alopecia, weight loss, peripheral neuropathy, fatigue, decrease in appetite, skin toxicities (vein becomes dark), pain and taste changes. While, the psycological responses which found include anxiety, striving to normality, negative self-esteem, sadness and resignation. Result: Chemotheraphy has the real effects on patients’s physical and psychological.
