This study aims to determine the effect of the murabahah margin rate to Financing to Deposit Ratio and Non Performing Financing on Indonesian Sharia Banks in the period 2010-2012. This study uses quantitative approach by using path analysis with three kinds of variables, which are murabahah margin rate as an exogenous variable, Financing to Deposit Ratio as an intervening endogenous variables and Non Performing Financing as an endogenous variable. The Sharia Banking industry is used as sample in this study, which consist of Sharia Comercial Banks (BUS) and Sharia Business Unit of a Conventional Bank (UUS). Furthermore, this study uses secondary data which conducted by collecting monthly financial statements for three years.The results showed that murabahah margin rate has significantly negative effect to Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) of Sharia Banking in Indonesia. Meanwhile, murabahah margin rate has significantly positive effect to Non Performing Financing (NPF). It also happens to the effects of Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) to Non Performing Financing (NPF) of Sharia Banks in Indonesia period 2010-2012.

Islam teaches every human being which have been blessed by Allah SWT with various advantages to be thankful for what they have by utilizing his/her ability through dig and developing his/her potential in a good way, so that it can be meaningful for him/herself as well as to other people. The teachers at school, which has been trusted by other parties to constantly, transfers his/her knowledge and conduct their pupil according to the characteristics of Rasulullah SAW so that theyâre able to reach success in that school, and of the characteristic is tabligh. The outcome of this research is, teachers have implemented tabligh on the teaching âlearning process communicatively, it was proofed by the fulfillment of 5 indicators which are; communication, model, education, wisdom and firmness which caused the escalation of studentâs morality until today. The teachers which have implemented tabligh are able to create a pleasant and conducive class with Islamic ethics. The implementation of tabligh is able to create excellent and high quality human resources.The excellent and high quality human resources will be able to build his/her economiccondition as well as build the nationâs.

This study aims to determine the conformity of contract rahn based Fatwa DSN-MUI at Sharia Mandiri Bank Branch Office Dharmahusada Surabaya. Contract rahn at Sharia Mandiri Bank only be used for products BSM Gold Pawn. The method used is a qualitative approach using case study strategy. The research object is the Sharia Mandiri Bank.Results of this research based on five domains from the mechanism of implementation contract Rahn in Sharia Mandiri Bank Branch Office Dharmahusada Surabaya with Fatwa DSN-MUI. From these domains, there are four domains that have conformity with Fatwa DSNMUI, that was marhun utilization domain, maintenance and storage marhun, sale / auction marhun as well as the cost of Ijarah contract. While in the charge domain on marhun against the costs Ijarah in Sharia Bank Mandiri KCP Dharmahusada donât have conformity based on Fatwa DSN No.25 / DSN-MUI / III / 2002 the second point number four.

This study aims to determine the influence of the Islamic service quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty switching intentions moderated by religious knowledge level in in Customer of BRISyariah Bank in Surabaya.The research method used is quantitative approach. This research use a total of 96 customers of BRISyariah Surabaya. Customer characteristics used are Moslem, registered as a funding or deposit customer for at least a year. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. This research uses a method PLS (Partial Least Square).The results showed that Islamic service quality has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. Other results showed that customer satisfaction has significant impact to customer loyalty and Islamic service quality has significant effect on customer loyalty. This results in accordance with the theory of Othman and Owen that CARTER could be used to measure the quality of service on Islamic Banking. Suggestion for the BRISyariah Bank in Surabaya should maintain and improve its service quality in order to improve satisfaction and form a loyal customer. For further research, can be done by adding another variable which affect customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Basically the quality of human resources that owned by BMH employees branch of Surabaya is different. Islamic working environment would be a little more influence their motives in the work so that in the end the result is within their Islamic work ethic with Islamic values will be shown. This study aims to determine the effect of the quality of their human resources employees of Baitul Maal Hidayatullah branch of Surabayaagainst the Islamic work ethic.Is Islamic work ethic assessment results are influenced by the quality of human resources in the work.In carrying out this study the authors used a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression analysis model. The samples in this study were all employees of Baitul Maal Hidayatullah branch of Surabaya obtained saturation sampling method. Under this method obtained 42 employees. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires human resource quality and work ethic of Islam to employees. The results of this study indicate that the quality of human resources affect the work ethic of employees Baitul Maal Hidayatullah Islamic Branch of Surabaya.

Sharia compliance is the main pillar that distinguishes between Islamic banks and conventional banks. Nevertheless, there is still debate among people who use the services of Islamic banking about sharia compliance regarding to the principles of sharia. This research aimed to investigate the customerâs perception of Islamic bank in the scope of Economic and Business Faculty Airlangga University students regarding to sharia compliance practice in Islamic bank which is seen from the concept and indicators of sharia compliance.This research used qualitative approach with a case study. Data collection technique in this research used a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) that consist of four group students of the Economic and Business Faculty Airlangga University from four majors: Economics, Management, Accounting, and Islamic Economics. This research was analyzed using domain and componential analysis.The result of this research showed that sharia compliance concept in Islamic bank that has been agreed by all of four student groups of Economic And Business Faculty of Airlangga University was sharia principles practice in Islamic bank operational system. There were four indicators of sharia compliance which had been agreed by all of four group students of Economic And Business Faculty of Airlangga University. They were akad as according to sharia, corporate culture as according to sharia, lending scheme as according to sharia, halal source of funds. Whereas the indicators which werenât agreed yet by all of four groupstudents of Economic And Business Faculty of Airlangga University were the existence of Sharia Supervisory Board , financial statements which were reported as according to sharia accounting, and zakat funds.

This study intends to know the influences of service quality perspective Islamic on the satisfication and the customer loyalty of Grand Hotel Kalimas in Surabaya. In achieving the aim, this study uses quantitative approach particularly in path analysis. Questioner is used in this study as primary data source of this study, moreover the data sampling of this study taken from 30 respondents. Meanwhile, method of data collection uses probability sampling with accidental sampling approach.For the results, the writer finds that the quality of perspective Islamic gives significant impact toward the satisfication of the customer, but it does not give significant impact toward the loyalty of customer. However, the satisfication of the customer gives significant influence toward the loyalty of the customer, Islamic perspective of service quality indirect effect on customer loyalty.

Sharia insurance in Indonesia has experienced a fairly rapid development since the promulgation of MUI fatwa number:21/DSN-MUI/X/2001 about sharia insurance. However, that is still questionable is does the sharia insurance company really run the product operational based on MUI fatwa.This study aims to determine whether product operational of sharia insurance of AJB Bumiputera1912 is in conformity with the sharia rules to follow six indicator akkad, premi, claims, investment, reinsurance, and management of the fund from MUI fatwa or not.The research method is used is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data used in this study is that the data derived from primary data obtained from fieldwork and secondary data derived from the literature and a wide range of written document. This study using data derived from the management of sharia insurance AJB Bumiputera 1912 in the branch of Surabaya and sharia insurance participants of AJB Bumiputera 1912.The results of this research is operational products of sharia insurance of AJB Bumiputera 1912 were in accordance with Indonesian Ulama Council fatwa DSN Number:21/DSNMUI/X/2001. The suitability reflected from the existence of akkad tabarruâ and akkad tijarah as investment funds (mudharabah), management of premium funds based on sharia, claims fund based on first contract, investment made in accordance with the mandate of participants, then reinsurance process done only to sharia-based reinsurance company.

The purpose of this study is to determine how the process of risk management toward displaced commercial risk. This study used a qualitative approach with case study method in the X Islamic Bank. Techniques of data collection was conducted by doing interview and documentation. At the results, X Islamic Bank processing risk management toward displaced commercial risk by doing six stages. First stage was: determination of context by defining comprehension and stakeholders, the second stage was: identification by looking at the cause of the displaced commercial risk, more over: analysis of risk by identifying strategies, impact, and estimate the level of impact measurement, the fourth evaluation of risk by giving the decision process risk, fifth: risk treatment by way of mitigation measures / accept riskthe last stage was : monitor and review by looking at the balance sheet to determine the level of the banks financial stability.

Natural resources have not been well managed in Madura and the low level of human resources leads to ethnic Madurese communities abroad to obtain a decent life by applying a high work ethic. This research aims to know the work ethic of ethnic Madurese in Central merchant Wholesale Surabaya reviewed from Islamic business ethics.Approach used in this research is qualitative approach to method case study is descriptive. Data done with interview observation and documentation against traders ethnic madura in central wholesale Surabaya. For data advocates derived from data given by centers management wholesale Surabaya. Besides is also study library and literature about ethos work ethnic Madurese and Islamic business ethics.The results obtained are the informants argued most of the Madurese ethnic merchants in wholesale center Surabaya interpret and apply the Madurese ethnic work ethic that is hard work and wander, as well as in implementing the work ethic they comply with Islamic business ethics.
