Abstract

This study aims to determine employee work motivation Small Industries Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan, to determine employee work productivity Small Industries Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan, and to know is there any effect of work motivation on employee work productivity Small Industries Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. The samples in this study using saturated sample as many as 34 people are based on all Small Industries Employees Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. Pegumpulan data using questionnaires and documentation methods. In analyzing the data used product moment correlation statistical method to test the validity of the instruments used in regression testing method to test the hypothesis put forward in this study. The results showed that the influence of work motivation at the same time a positive relationship to work productivity Batik Small Industries Employees "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. It is derived from the value of 0.717 while rtabel rhitung of 0.339 (0.717 ≥ 0.339). On the other hand Sighit values of 0.000 and 0.05 Sigprob (0.000 ≤ 0.05) was rejected, meaning that work motivation has a relationship with the Small Industries Employees work productivity Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. It also obtained the F test value , the value of F at 33.830 while the value Ftable 4.149 (33.830 ≥ 4.149). On the other hand Sigprob Sighit of 0.000 and 0.05 (0.000 ≤ 0.05) means there is a denial that shows that there are significant between work motivation on employee work productivity Small Industries Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. Also obtained regression coefficients (t test) with tcount 5.816 while the value ttable 2,037 (5.816 ≥ 2.037). On the other hand Sighit values of 0.000 and 0.05 Sigprob value (0.000 ≤ 0.05). With this was rejected, meaning that there are different influences on the productivity of Small Industries Employees Batik "SIDO MUKTI" Plaosan Magetan. While the results of R2 of 51.40 %, 51.40 % shows that for the variable productivity of employees affected work motivation , while the remaining 48.60 % is influenced by other factors . Furthermore, when seen in the derived regression equation value equation Y = 10.320 + 0.773 X. From the regression equation it can be seen if the motivation to work as much as 1 % increase labor productivity will increase as well of 0.773 %, while the other factors remain. Keywords : Work Motivation, Work Productivity

Abstract

Ex-psychotic individuals encounter many difficulties in the process of socializing and returned to the environment, so that the necessary training skills before returning to the family and society. The purpose of this study was (1) To determine the effort to improve the social and economic independence of individual ex-psychotic through vocational skills training in the Social Rehabilitation Unit Ex Psychotic Social Service of East Java Province, (2) To determine the effectiveness of vocational skills training to improve social and economic independence of the individual ex-psychotic The Social Rehabilitation Unit Ex Psychotic Social Service of East Java Province. Writing method using a case study approach to field studies (field research) combined with literature (library research). This community service is a descriptive research, data analysis using qualitative analysis with interactive model. The analyzed data is the data rate of socio-economic independence of individuals before and after the psychotic ex vocational skills training. This research with two activities that make the carpet of material raffia rope and wooden crafts. Abstract

To achieve national education purpose, Indonesias government provide three categories facilities, formal, non-formal, and informal education. Formal education held the Ministry of education, non-formal education organized independently, informal education in family and society. Three types education work together to achieve the national education purpose. The research purpose to determine students satisfaction level to learning Biology in formal school and non-formal learning. Analysis results of research are expected as material evaluation Organizer formal education in order to meet the needs student learning without having to rely institutions of the mentorship of non-formal learning. Research using observation method, researchers conducted observations directly the research object to see the reality in the field. Data collected using questionnaires on 30 respondents high level school students. Questionnaire were analyzed using comparative average student learning satisfaction in formal school and non-formal learning. Student learning satisfaction measurement results on the quality of the material, 81,6% of formal schooling and non-formal learning 87,6% , aspects method of formal school 87% and non-formal learning 75%, teaching quality aspects of formal school 79% and non-formal learning 83%, school formal infrastructure aspects of 92% and non-formal learning 76%, learning time aspects formal school 90% and non-formal learning 85%. Keywords: satisfaction learning, biology, formal, non-formal

Abstract

This study aims to develop a key book in the Myriapoda determination Inquiry learning model to improve learning outcomes and determine the feasibility Taxonomy Inveretebrata the book as alearning supporting Prodi Biology Education. The subjects that students Prodi Biology Education IIB half the number 12. Collecting data using multiple assessment sheet including key book appraisaldetermination Myriapoda, the student questionnaire responses, the performance test sheet, sheet cognitive test results, student activity sheets, and activity sheets lecturer. Analysis of the data using theaverage of each assessment. The result of this research is a key book Myriapoda determination developed with 4D models (Four D Models) with the stages of defining, designing, developing, while the spread was not done because of the larger scale. The results showed that 80% assessment supervisor and lecturer of Invertebrate Taxonomy courses give a good assessment can be categorized or fit for use Other research results are students responded positively to the book developed by providing an assessment that is equal to 70.8% agreed, and 22% strongly agreed, besides learning the Inquiry model can improve the process and the results of this study demonstrated the value of cognitive test results the average is 80 so it can be categorized as good. Keywords : A Key Myriapoda Determination, Inquiry, Invertebrate Taxonomy Of Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Orientation: Using technique in teaching is used to improve students cerativity and ability in writing that help students in process of prewriting, writing, editing phase, revising, and evaluatin. Researcher tried to campare in using teaching technique based on students self-actualization.. Research purpose: This research is aimed at finding out whether: (1) Paper Seminar technique is more effective than Peer Editing Technique to teach writing skill; (2) the students having high selfactualization have better writing skill than those having low self-actualization; and (3) there is an interaction between teaching techniques and students self-actualization in teaching writing to the third semester students of English Department, IKIP PGRI Madiun in the academic year of 2013/2014. Research design: The research method was an experimental study. The researcher used cluster random sampling to get the sample. There were two classes used as sample. One class consisted of 30 students who were experimental class taught by Paper Seminar technique and the other 30 students were as control class taught by Peer Editing technique. The instruments of collecting data are writing test and questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using multifactor analysis of variance 2x2. Then, it was analyzed by using Tukey test. Main Finding: The research findings show that: (1) Paper Seminar technique is more effective than Peer Editing technique; (2) The students having high selfactualization have better writing skill than those having low self-actualization; and (3) There is an interaction between teaching techniques and students self-actualization in teaching writing. Based on the research findings, in general it can be concluded that Paper Seminar technique is an effective echnique to teach writing. Therefore, the teacher is suggested to apply Paper Seminar technique for teaching writing. Keywords: Paper Seminar technique; Peer Editing Technique; Self Actualization.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to get profile of visual thinking of prospective teachers of mathematics in understanding formal definitions of convergent sequences based on gender differences. This study focused more on the process than the results. The results of the study are presented in the form of descriptions based on empirical data. Therefore, it used descriptive-exploratory study with a qualitative approach. To get the depth of the data, it selected one male subject and one female subject. Method of task-based interviews with semi-structured format was used to collect the data. The time triangulation is used to validate the data. Reduction, categorization, synthesis, and inferences are used to analyze the data. The results showed that: 1) The male student does four stages or activities to understand the formal definition of convergent sequences, that is: to recognize, to imagine, to show, and to conclude. The activity to show can be categorized into two sub-activities; namely: to show a picture of convergent sequences and to show a picture attribute of the definition. The sequence of activities to understand was carried out by the male student in not a linear fashion. Profile of visual thinking of male prospective teacher of mathematics in understanding formal definitions of convergent sequences is obtained from on the information processing activities that involve mental imagery. Mental imagery processing is done through three stages, namely: to construct mental imagery, to processing mental imagery, and to utilize mental imagery. The stages of processing mental imagery can be categorized into two sub-stages; namely: to determine mental imagery and to refine mental imagery. 2) The female student does four stages or activities to understand the formal definition of convergent sequences, namely: to recognize, to imagine, to show, and to conclude. The activity to show can be categorized into two sub-activities; namely: to show a picture of convergent sequence and to show a picture attribute of the definition. To understand the sequence of activities was performed by female student in a linear fashion. Profile of visual thinking of female prospective teacher of mathematics in understanding formal definitions of convergent sequences is obtained from the information processing activities that involve mental imagery. Mental imagery processing is done through three stages namely: to construct mental imagery, to processing mental imagery, and to utilize mental imagery. The stages of processing mental imagery can be categorized into two sub-stages; namely: to determine mental imagery and to refine mental imagery. 3) Regardless of the differences in the representation and processing sequence as well as the activities and the use of mental imagery, there are similarities in the understanding of the formal definition of convergent sequences. The activity to show can be categorized into two sub-activities; namely: to show a picture of convergent sequences and to show a picture attribute of the definition. Abstract

The purpose of this research is : ( 1 ) describe the form of spoken language first grade students of SDN Pendem I Magetan in teaching and learning interactions , and ( 2 ) describe the characteristics of spoken language first grade students of SDN Pendem I Magetan . The object of this research is the spoken language students in first grade SDN Pendem I Magetan when interacting with the teacher in teaching and learning activities. Outcomes of this study that this research will be uploaded in national journals accredited Lentera ( State University of Yogyakarta ) , Journal Pendidikan IKIP PGRI Madiun , and Journal Widyabastra. This study refers to the spoken form of the language description which includes the word class , the form of words , and sentence structure. Word class consists of verbs , nouns, adjectives , adverbs , and word tasks. While the form of a word composed of affix words , repeated words , compound words , and acronym. Sentence structure includes six basic sentence patterns . This study used a qualitative descriptive method . Descriptive methods showed that the study presented here is done solely based on the fact that there is or phenomena that are empirically living in speakers . Abstract

Teaching and learning process needs competence teacher in order to gain the highest achievement. A competence teacher is a teacher who has good competence, one of them is pedagogic competence. This good pedagogic competence will be formed from practicing process which is kept in a good micro practice. Related to that, this study purposes to (1) analyze students pedagogic competence in practicing micro; (2) analyze the obstacles which appear while process of practicing micro teaching; and 3) formulate solution precisely to solve those obstacles. This study used case study model and the object was English department students who fulfilled specific criteria and joined micro teaching class. Data collection techniques used in the form of observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation of achievement . The data analysis used was descriptive qualitative method which contains data reduction , presented data and draws conclusions or verification. Researchers have gained some following conclusions : (1) pedagogical competence of the students is still low; (2) Some students problems: less of time management, less of creating and using the media, less of methods and models of innovative learning techniques; less fluently of spoken English, inactive in the classroom, were confused in preparing lesson plans and syllabus, lack of confidence when teaching practice (nervous), and lack of specific student handbook which contains detail guidelines of microteaching; (3) The solutions can be used to overcome the obstacles that arise in the process of microteaching are: create microteaching models which has spesific approach, students should be accompanied and guided well in making lesson plans, students need to improve self-esteem because important in classroom management, and the students have to improve the English language skills both oral and written . Keywords : Microteaching, Pedagogic Competence

Abstract

Calculus is a compulsory subject for all students of Mathematics Department of IKIP PGRI Madiun. Calculus is very important and must be mastered by the students, because it is very essential as a prerequisite subject in mathematics. In fact, mathematics students still have low ability of calculus. This low ability seen from the results of students tests. The result of the students test still low. The result of the test inseparable from the role of lecturer . Lecturer rarely use of instructional media in teaching learning process, whereas learning media can help the understanding of the concept of the student. One of the learning media that can help students to understand the concepts of calculus is Maple software. The aim of this study is improving the ability of students to apply Maple software in learning calculus. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, test and documentation. The data analysis techniques are quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research are the increasing of average value from pretest to the first cycle. The same condition also happens from the first cycle to the second cycle. The average value of pretest is 57,44 among 36 students in less criteria. The average value of the first cycle is 64,94 in a sufficient criterion. The average value of the second cycle is 71,03 in good criteria. In addition, in interview students give positive response to the process of learning by using Maple software.Keywords : learning media , Maple software , the students calculus ability

Abstract

Nowadays, Children often have problems in order to adapt to their environment on a daily, one of the important problems to overcome is the Prososial problem. The purpose of this research explicitly to improve the Prososial behavior Kindergarden students of Sewulan Dagangan Madiun in 2013/2014 by theraphy "Ber-Bi". In Our research used True-Experimental One Group Pretest Posttest Design. In this research the data analysis was conducted with statistics by calculating the percentage, the method of collection of data through observation and interview. The results of this research have increase the Prososial behavior by 35% from pre-test results of 38% to 73% after treatment with the Bingo game. This research is expected to contribute information about how to increase of the Prososial behavior Kindergarten students by Bingo game. Keyword: Prososial, Games Bingo Card
