Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) graduates are graduates who have the highest Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) among other levels of education. Low work readiness is one of the contributing factors. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of industrial internship and self-efficacy on students work readiness. The method used in this study was ex-post facto with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a value range between 1 to 5 likert scale models. Respondents in this study were grade XII students of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) Engineering Competency at SMKN 8 Bandung. This study consisted of three variables, namely industrial internship (X1), self-efficacy (X2) and students work readiness (Y). The data analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis. The results showed that internship and self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on students work readiness. Therefore, students work readiness can be through the improvement of industrial internship program and self-efficacy.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create an SKKNI-based e-jobsheet in the subject of refrigeration installation systems that are feasible to use based on the assessment of media experts, material experts and measure student learning outcomes in the cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains and determine user response. The research method used is RnD by following the ADDIE model. The research sample taken was 31 students of class XI TPTUP. The instruments used in this study were expert validation sheets, pretest and posttest sheets, psychomotor and affective observation sheets, and user response questionnaires. The results of the feasibility assessment conducted showed that the e-jobsheet developed was categorized as "very feasible" according to media experts and material experts. The results of the media user response were categorized as "positive". The learning outcomes of cognitive aspects have increased as measured by the N-gain value of 0.58 which is categorized as moderate. Learning outcomes of psychomotor aspects amounted to 3.05% and cognitive aspects 2.15%, then positive responses from e-jobsheet users. The conclusion of this study is that e-jobsheet learning media is very feasible to use in refrigeration maintenance and repair material.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' difficulties when they want to learn independently to repeat the material of precision mechanical measuring instruments. This is because students do not have a handle on the material that can be accessed. Student difficulties need to be overcome by providing website-based learning media. The purpose of this research is to produce a website-based learning media that is feasible to use to facilitate students in mastering precision mechanical measuring instrument material and knowing the response of users. The trial was conducted in class X Automotive Engineering 2, totaling 31 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The results showed that website-based learning media is feasible to use to facilitate students in mastering precision mechanical measuring instruments, getting a very positive response from users, and website-based learning media can facilitate students in mastering precision mechanical measuring instruments.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of a TikTok-based video tutorial learning media on the topic of basic 3D drawing command functions with CAD, and to determine the feasibility and user response towards this media. The research employs the Design Based Research (DBR) development model, which consists of four stages: problem identification, prototype solution development, testing and solution improvement, and reflection and solution implementation. The testing was conducted in class XI- DGM 1 in the subject of designing techniques with CAM, with a sample size of 35 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The research yields a video tutorial learning media based on the TikTok application for basic 3D drawing command functions with CAD. The feasibility assessment conducted by 3 subject-matter experts and 3 media experts indicates that the developed TikTok-based video tutorial learning media is deemed "very feasible." After being approved by the subject-matter and media experts, further testing was carried out in class XI-DGM 1 in the subject of designing techniques with CAM, using a questionnaire as the instrument. The user response results were categorized as "very positive." In conclusion, based on the research findings, this TikTok-based video tutorial learning media is highly suitable for use in teaching designing techniques with CAM.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement in learning outcomes for students in terms of cognitive aspects and to understand the students' response and learning activities when using the Edutainment method. The study was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi, in the 10th grade - TP B class, with 33 student participants. The instruments used were tests, questionnaires, and observations. The results of the study showed that students' learning outcomes improved significantly after using the Edutainment method, with a N-Gain score of 0.85 and a highly positive response in terms of learning activities and student engagement with the edutainment method.
