Abstract

Latar belakang : Gizi kurang merupakan masalah kesehatan yang terjadi di negara-negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Prevalensi gizi kurang secara nasional sebanyak 19,6%. Prevalensi gizi kurang di Jawa Tengah 18% dan di Puskesmas Ngawen 14,8%.Tujuan penelitian : Menjelaskan pengaruh pendampingan MP-ASI berdasarkan pengetahuan ibu dan praktik pemberian MP-ASI balita gizi kurang usia 6-24 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Ngawen.Metode penelitian : Penelitian ini termasuk gizi masyarakat menggunakan rancangan Quasi ekperimentalPre dan Post test Control Group Design dengan 38 sampel. Pendampingan dilakukan selama satu bulan dengan 3 sesi (Sesi Intensif, Penguatan dan Mandiri). Data diolah menggunakan uji statistik Annova Repeated Measure.Hasil : Rata-rata pengetahuan ibu sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pendampingan, yaitu 78,0 dan 89,26. Rata- rata praktik pemberian MP-ASI sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pendampingan adalah 70,62 dan 85,6.Kesimpulan : erdapat perbedaan skor pengetahuan ibu dan praktik pemberian MP-ASI antara kelompok kontrol dan intervesi setelah diberikan pendampingan (p = 0.094dan 0,073). Perlu adanya penelitian lebih lanjut tentang pengaruh pendampingan MP-ASI terhadap status gizi balita gizi kurang usia 6-24 bulan

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a disorder of the cardiovascular system, it’s still a burden on public health because of its prevalence is high. Factors that cause hypertension such as lack of physical activity, obesity and stress state. The prevalence of teenagers hypertension in the age group 15-24 years are 8,7%.Objective: To identify the correlations between exercise habits, obesity and stress with hypertension in adolescents in Senior High School 10 Semarang.Methods: The study of public nutrition with case control approach (matching sex) with each sample case and control groups of 37 students. Collecting data include measurement of blood pressure, exercise habits, height and weight measurements and stress. To determine the relationship between variables used Mc Nemar test with α = 95%.Results: The average systolic blood pressure / diastolic in hypertension group was 131.70 / 74.61 mmHg and the group does not hypertensive 103.08 / 59.41 mmHg. 86.5% of adolescents with hypertension lack of exercise, while adolescents are not hypertensive 83.8% less exercise. Adolescents with hypertension 62.6% are obese, while adolescents are not hypertensive only 8.1%. Most (89.2%) adolescents both hypertensive and non-hypertensive do not experience stress. Results of bivariate analysis is not significant correlations between exercise habits with hypertension (p = 1.000), there is a correlations between obesity and hypertension (p = 0.001, OR = 8) and there is not significant correlations between stress and hypertension (p = 1.000).Conclusions: Obesity is correlated with hypertension. While exercise habits and stress are not correlated. Suggested adolescents maintain a healthy weight.

Abstract

Background: Prevalence of stunting in Demak district 2015 was 29%, higher than central java prevalence. Stunting have will inhibit the development of cognitive and motoricamong children with negative impact in the next life. This study aims to determine risk of stunting of children under five year.Methods: We used data from the need assesment project from the Nutrion of Departement Health of Polytechnic Semarang. We used 420 children wich selected using simple random sampling. Risk factor for child stunting included factor from nutrition, physiological, illness, parenting, health behavior and socioeconomic incidence. Variable intake of energy and protein obtained by Food Recall 2 x 24 hours, the variable gender, maternal age, height mothers, diarrhea, respiratory infection, a child's weight, parenting, attitudes, knowledge, the use of iodized salt, vitamin A, large families, education, employment and pendapatan diperoleh using a questionnaire with interview method. Logistic regression was use to determine the risk factors.Results: We found 33,1% children was stunting. From the best model factors, the risk factor for the children in stunting is maternal high ≤ 145 cm (OR = 2,5; CI = 1,057 to 5,022), maternal knowledge of 80% (OR = 2; CI = 1,070 to 2,776), family do not use any of iodized salt in the household (OR = 8,5; CI = 4,979 to 13,541) and maternal education less than primary school (OR = 3,5; CI = 1,022 to 11,275).Conclusion: Determinan Factors that make children at risk for stunting is maternal high, maternal knowledge, families who do not use iodized salt in the household and maternal education less than primary school. There is a need to take height measurements regularly in health pos to monitor child stunting.

Abstract

Background: Under Weight is a health problem that occurs in developing countries like Indonesia. The prevalence of malnutrition nationally as much as 19.6%. The prevalence of under weight in Central Java 18% and in CHC Ngawen 14.8%.Objective: To describe the effect of nutritional assistance based on affect of mothers knowledge and feeding practices for children under weight 6-24 months age in CHC of Ngawen Blora.Methods: There was a quasi-experimental design pre and post test control group gesign with 38 samples. The intervention group received nutrition assistance for 1 month with 3 sessions (intensive, reinforcement, self). Data analysis used Annova Repeated Measure.Results: The average knowledge of the mother before and after assistance, was 78.0 and 89.26. The average of feeding practice before and after assistance was 70.62 and 85.6.Conclusion: There were differences in the knowledge scores of mothers and provision of complementary feeding practices between the control and intervention groups after being given assistance (p=0.094 and p = 0.073). Research for the effect of nutrition assistance program should be implemented to the nutritional status of children 6-24 months ages malnutrition
