Abstract

Choking is a very serious incident that threatens life. More than 50 children die each year from choking on foreign objects or food. The mothers showed a negative attitude towards the action in preventing choking which is about 60%. Provide health education on the prevention of choking in children is expected to change ones attitude. The purpose of this study was to prove whether there are differences in attitudes before and after health education with extension methods to change the attitude of mothers to prevent choking in children in the Pos Paud Kuncup Ceria. The method used is a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. Population in research in was all mothers whose children attend early childhood Pos Paud Kuncup Ceria totaling 25 people. The sample in this study are all mothers whose children attend early childhood Pos Paud Kuncup Ceria. The sampling technique is a type of non-probability sampling total sampling as many as 25 respondents. Data taken using a quetionaire. Having collected the data analysis with frequency distribution. The result shows no difference in the attitude of the mother before and after health education to prevent choking in children with an average of 44.48 before health education be given 51.08 after health education . Based on the above results are expected to further improve the health personnel, guidance and counseling to improve the mothers attitude that the way to prevent choking in children can be overcome in accordance with what has been described and is able to perform these actions independently.Keywords: Health Education, Attitude, Choking

Abstract

The success rate of exclusive breastfeeding can be managed successfully with the encouragement of her husband to the mother to breastfeed the baby. Support husbands sometimes do not show up or husband does not seem to care. This is because he does not know the right way to support his wife. The purpose of this research was to determine the mothers husband support in the success of exclusive breastfeeding in Talok Hamlet Salen Village Bangsal Sub District Mojokerto District. This research was descriptive. The population in this research is all mothers with children aged 7-24 months in Talok Hamlet Salen Village Bangsal Sub District MojokertoDistrictas many as 30 people. Sampling technique of this research is total sampling. The variable in this research is the mothers husband support in the success of exclusive breastfeeding. Measuring instrument used was a questionnaire. The results suggest that most of the positive husbands support as many as 17 people (56.1%), and negative ones as many as 13 people (43.9%). Analysis of the data used is mean cut off point. The results of data analysis showed that the husband supports his wife to give breast milk to their babies until the age of 6 months. Husband provide positive support because it is already able to think about the good health of his wife and child so that his wife supports exclusive breastfeeding in mind the importance of exclusive breastfeeding for infants and the many benefits of exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

The process of growth and development in infancy and toddlers were a very important process in determined the future of children both physically, mentally and behaviorally. Motor development was one of the most important factors in the development of the individual as a whole. The physical skills children need for activities and sports can be learned and trained in the early days of development. This research aims to determine the gross motor development in children under five years old in Village Keret Sumberjati Mojoanyar District of Mojokerto. The research design used descriptive method. The population in this research were all under five in Dusun Desa Keret Sumberjati Mojoanyar District of Mojokerto regency as many as 43 infants, whereas the samples used in this study as many as 27 respondents drawn by simple random sampling technique. The variables in this research are rough motor development in toddler. Data was collected used DDST sheet and then the data has been collected treated with the stages of editing, coding, scoring, and tabulating. Then presented in the form of frequency distribution table. The results showed that almost half of the respondents had a rough motor development warning of 13 respondents (48.1%) and a small proportion had late gross motor development that was 3 respondents (11.1%). Gross motor development in infants affected by various external and internal factors such as nutritional status, physical activity, and socioeconomic conditions. Educational institutions should make the results of this research provide additional information about the importance of understanding the importance of nutrition in an effort to optimize the gross motor development in infants.Keywords: Motorik Rough, Toddler

Abstract

AbstractNutritional status is one of the most important functions in the bodys defense against infection. Malnutrition in the circumstances, the immune response will be weakened so that the ability to defend it self against infection is lowered. This studed aims described the nutritional status of patients with pulmonary TB in Prigen Pasuruan. The method used is descriptive. The population was all patients with active pulmonary TB were 26 people that taken using the total sampling. This studed uses BMI calculation with the observed weight and height to determine the nutritional status of the patient. The results showed that the majority of patients with pulmonary TB have less nutritional status of as many as 17 people (65.4%). A person affected by pulmonary tuberculosis immune reaction will conduct an inflammatory reaction that disrupted the bodys metabolism which will result in weight is lowered, it is characterized by malaise because of the pain. In a state of malnutrition, weakened immune reaction so that the ability to maintain the infection is lowered, the presence of infectious disease can provide absorption barriers and obstacles intake of nutrients which the onset of malnutrition.Keywords:nutritional status, pulmonary TB patients

Abstract

Learning Method is a way of presenting the material of general nature. In the learning process of learning methods very big influence on the achievement of learning objectives.This method was chosen because it was easily implemented and teachers was not require special tools and no need to design student activities. Analyzing the effect of a lecture than a demonstration of learning achievement in Askeb III (Postpartum), to analyze the effect of motivation on learning achieve mentat Askeb III (Post partum), to analyze the interaction effect of teaching methods and learning motivation on learning achieve mentat Askeb III (Post partum). This study used a quasi-experimental method (Quasi Experiment Design), with a time series design with a comparison group (Control Time Series Design). Samples used as many as 64 students.This research instrument was a recapitulation of learning achievement Askeb III, the observation sheet and competency testing practice. There was a significant difference compared to the lecture demonstration method of learning achievement Askeb III significance 0.000 <0.05. There was a significant difference compared to the high motivation of low motivation on learning achievement Askeb III with significance 0.001> 0.05. Interaction effect of teaching methods on learning achieve mentand motivation Askeb III. The first hypothesis test results showed that the value of F = 7.045 with a significance of 0.010> 0.05. There was a significant difference compared to the lecture demonstration method of learning achievement Askeb III yet and there was interaction effect of teaching methods on achieve mentand motivation to learn Askeb III.Keyword:Ceramah, Demonstrasi, Prestasi belajar, Motivasi belajar

Abstract

The gymnastics pregnancy beneficial to maintain and optimize physical balance, maintaining a healthy pregnancy. Pregnant women who follow pregnancy exercise can lead delivery smoothly, by utilizing the power and capabilities as well as possibleso that delivery run normally and smoothly. With pregnancy exercise also increases the strength of uterine muscle contractions in order to achieve optimal results towards the birth canal. The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency of maternal TM II and III in doing pregnancy exercise on BPM Ny. Meila Familia Rusdiana, Wates village Amd.keb pedestals District Trowulan 2014 research design was descriptive. The population in this study were all pregnant mothers TM II and III in BPM Ny. Meila Familia Rusdiana, Amd. Keb Wates Village District Trowulan pedestals as many as 17 people. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling sampling saturated type. This research was conducted in BPM Ny. Meila Familia Rusdiana, Amd. keb Wates Village District Trowulan pedestals on 19 to 23 July2014, data was collected using a questionnaire sheet. Data processing by means of editing, coding, scoring, tabulating. The results showed that the average respondent perform second-trimester pregnancy exercise was 2 and in the third trimester was 2 Pregnant women are still reluctant to do pregnancy exercise, this is because the psychological condition of the mothers abdomen, causing the mother growing difficulty to move and lazy to physical exercise. The frequency of pregnancy exercise during pregnancy trimester II and III are stil lrelatively few. It is expected that health workers can provide counseling or health education or by putting up posters on how to do a proper pregnancy exercise classes and provide pregnant women and provide facilities to mothers in health care, especially in prenatal care.Keywords:Pregnancy, Pregnant Gymnastics

Abstract

Play block of flats is one of the tools of play construction which is beneficial for the child. Not only to aspects of cognitive, motor, but also to improve the childs emotional intelligence (EQ). This time the fine motor development is the ability associated with the physical skills involving the coordination of smooth muscles/small. The purpose of the research is to know the relationship game fine motor development with beams between the ages of 3-4 years at Playgroup tarbiyatul Atfal of Gresik Regency. Analytical research by design correlation using the approach of cross sectional. The population of the entire child playgroup age 3-4 years by as much as 30 respondents, sampling the sampling, using a total of 30 sample respondents. Taken using a sheet of observation and KPSP sheet. After the accumulated data processing is carried out and continued with the statistical test cross tabs. Children are expected to enhance their learning at home not only in school, this beam is easy game played by children and play the game these beams depends on the childs condition as well as the physical conditions, children, the environment, the elderly and childrens own interests. Thats the role of the parents is still important to reach the stage of child development, such as helping children to play or increase other motor motion, children could play well and the development of motoric in accordance with the stage of development is expected to in the future.Key words : fine motor, block game, kids playgroup

Abstract

Malnutrition in children aged under 2 years can be minimized through exclusive breastfeeding. However, working mothers only breastfeed while on leave from work about 3-5 months so that after that she immediately weaning her baby. Research objectives is to determine the correlation between working mothers with early weaning in children aged 1-2 years in the Bugul Lor Village Bugul Kidul District Pasuruan. Research design using analytic crossectional approach. Population was all mothers who have children aged 1-2 years in the the Bugul Lor Village Bugul Kidul District Pasuruan as many as 34 mothers taken using purposive sampling technique. Data analyzed using chi-square tests. From the analysis of data obtained p = 0.006 <0.05 means there is a correlation between working mothers with early weaning in children aged 1-2 years in the Bugul Lor Village Bugul Kidul District Pasuruan. From the results of research can be concluded that the majority of respondents are working mothers and children aged 1-2 years were weaned early. Mom was always expected to breastfeed exclusively at children so children are not exposed to diseases, especially leukemia and lymphoma in children.Keywords: Working Mother, Early weaning, Children Ages 1-2 years

Abstract

A child doesn’t have sins, really irritable to the environment and still depend on another. Children need happy life in safe and comfort condition in order to be able play and learn to adult optimally. But most of parents force their children to work to raise family income, everytime children can disturb their growth and development. This research is aimed to know description of orphan children abuse in Pulorejo Downtown Prajuritkulon Mojokerto. This research uses descriptive method. The population of this research is all of orphan children in Pulorejo Downtown Prajuritkulon Mojokerto as many as 23 childrens, Sampling technique used is total sampling technique. The result of this research shows that orphan children abuse in Pulorejo Downtown Prajuritkulon Mojokerto is all of respondent (100%) due to emotional abuse, neglected andcommercialization, 73.9% due to physical abuse, and 26.1% due to sexual abuse.Analysis of data used univariate analyze that result frequencies distribution and percentage. Abuse to the children is really hurt physically or emotionally, sexual abuse, neglected, commercial exploitation and anothe exploitation, that cause injury and real disadvantage or potential tothe children’s health, children life, dan children’s growth and development. This abuse need better and more serious handle from associated side not only government but also society.Key words:children, abuse, orphan

Abstract

Learning achievement is a measure of success in a learning process. Many factors affect a persons learning achievement. In this study only focused on achievement motivation factors and learning styles of students. Theoretically, learning achievements may be affected by the achievement motivation and learning style of the individual. Research Purposes: (1) Determine the effect of achievement motivation on learning achievement midwifery care of pregnant women (2) Determine the effect of differences in learning styles on learning achievement midwifery care of pregnant women (3) identifying interaction effect of achievement motivation and learning styles together on learning achievement midwifery care of pregnant women. Methods :The study design was a causal comparative research. Research target population is all students enrolled Midwifery third semester as a student active in the STIKes BinaSehatPPNI Mojokerto academic year 2013/2014, amounting to 171 people. Sample of 64 people selected by proportional cluster random sampling technique.Instrumen:There are two methods used to collect the data that is questionnaire and study documents such as documents the average value of the learning outcomes of midwifery care of pregnant women. Data were analyzed using two way ANOVA models Results: (1) There is a difference in learning achievement is very significant between students with high motivation with students who have low motivation with significance 0.002 < 0.05. ( 2 ) there is a difference of at least one of the differences of learning achievement pregnant women between students with a visual learning style , auditors and kinesthetic with significance 0.012 < 0.05 . (3) There is interaction between learning style and motivation to learn prestsai student with an F = 3.501 with a significance of 0.037 < 0.05. Conclusion: There is Determine the effect of achievement motivation and learning styles individually and jointly on learning achievement pregnant women in midwifery care midwifery students STIKes BinaSehat PPNI Mojokerto.Keyword: Achievement Motivation, Learning Styles, Learning Achievement Maternal Obstetric Care.
