Abstract

This study discusses Sufism and Popular Culture: A Study of the Online Study of the Al-Hikam Book on Facebook by Ulil Abshar Abdalla. The author's aims of discusses this because in the modern era peoples use this gadget many are because of the need of the spiritually, but not most of them can actualize themselves to find it. In this case, the figure of Ulil Abshar Abdalla initiated a study in the modern era in the online sites, especially on Facebook as a way of transforming the values of Sufism. This study raised one of Ibn Athaillah's books, al-Hikam. The reason researchers chose this study:   first, this study is still rarely done by Sufism reviewers; second, the uniqueness that was built by Ulil Abshar Abdalla in conveying through facebook media and sharing its explanations to the laypeople and Sufism experts. The results of this determination are: first, revealing new ways or methods in presenting Sufism in this modern era; secondly, it found a relationship between Sufism and popular culture so that it can exist in the respective fields. Finally, Sufism can convey the wise messages in the book of al-Hikam in a wide circle.

Abstract

rOld age is the last time of the human life cycle. Old age has the potential to have physical and mental health problems such as anxiety facing death. This study aims to determine how the application of sufic counseling in dealing with anxiety facing death in the elderly at the Community-Based Social Protection House (RPSBM) of Pekalongan City.This type of research is qualitative research with a comparative descriptive analysis case study approach to find out the flow of elderly problems and compare the condition of the elderly before and after sufistic counseling. The study subjects consisted of four elderly women and men. Data collection uses interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data checking, clarification, verification, analysis and conclusion making. The application of sufistic counseling consists of several steps, namely takhalli (self awareness), tahalli (self development), and self empowerment. The results showed that sufistic counseling can reduce anxiety facing death in the elderly with a change in emotional conditions better between before and after sufic counseling.

Abstract

Sufism is believed to be a solution in social problems and is not a passive or apathetic attitude towards social phenomena. Sufism is very active in creating a spiritual moral revolution in society and has a major influence on social change. With the analytical method of description, this article emphasizes that through the tasawuf approach it is expected to be able to integrate individual and social values with moderate Islamic understanding, so that they can carry out da'wah that prioritizes the karimah (noble words), qaulan marufa (good words) and qaulan maisura (proper words), as has been mandated in the Qoran.

Abstract

Shalat sebagai perjalanan spiritual, proses transendensi(berpindahnya jiwa) menuju Allah. Naiknya jiwameninggalkan ikatan nafsu yang terdapat dalam dirimanusia menuju kehadirat Allah. Menuju Zat yangMaha Mutlak sebagai puncak tujuan ruhani, sandaranistirahatnya jiwa, sumber hidup, sumber kekuatan,dan sumber mencari inspirasi. Manusia harus bergerakdi sebuah ruangan yang mana Allah sebagai porossumbunya. Orang yang telah mampu memahami bahwaAllah sebagai sumbu segala gerak hidupnya, dialahsebetulnya yang telah mengalami kebebasan. Sebabkebebasan secara spiritual merupakan kemampuanmanusia menaklukan ego duniawinya dan desahan setanyang selalu tampak menggiurkan. Dengan mengarahkanjiwa kepada Allah, ruhani akan mengalami pencerahankarena berada pada ketinggian yang tak terbatas. Pikiranterlepas dari keadaan riil dan panca indra melepaskan diridari segala macam keruwetan. Sehingga jiwa mengalamiketenangan dan ketentraman. Oleh karena itu, setelahshalat seharusnya manusia aktif menjalankkan perankekhalifahannya dengan melakukan transformasi sosial,merealisasikan misi Rasulullah saw. sebagai Rahmatan lil‘Alamin dengan membangun tatanan kehidupan duniayang aman, adil dan sejahtera.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the development of character values in subjects of Islamic religious education and character in the 2013 curriculum. Character education is important for students considering that Indonesia is currently experiencing moral degradation. The enactment of the 2013 curriculum or kurtilas has a number of meanings. This study aims to examine the development of character values of junior high school students in PAI and Budi Pekerti subjects in the 2013 curriculum. The library research method is used through extracting information from various literatures related to character education, PAI curriculum structure and junior high school characteristics and character education values. found in PAI subjects and manners. The results show that there are character values in each basic competency (KD) in PAI subjects and character. The character values include religion, discipline, tolerance, responsibility, respect, self-control and peace of mind. Implementation can be done by better designing PAI learning and character by choosing the right approach and method.

Abstract

Pendidikan, dikenal banyak pada peradaban kuno; Khoudarta China dan India. Sebagai orang Yahudi Maret dan Kristen mistisisme, tasawuf Muslim. penggunaan musik pada sufi kuno dan modern masuk akal, yang merespon logika dan esensi dari mistisisme, dalam mistisisme bahwa, dalam banyak arti dan manifestasi kecenderungan filosofis atau kecenderungan untuk menyingkirkan komponen tanah liat manusia dari dunia dan lumpur, dan pergi ke dunia roh dan terlibat di dalamnya selamanya. Oleh karena itu, fungsi mendengar musik, sesuatu yang penting ketika sufi untuk mencapai mereka akhir spiritual. Mungkin Ibn Arabi mistik terkenal, dianggap sebagai salah satu Sufi atas yang dirawat subjek dalam tulisan-tulisan mereka dan musik spiritual metafisik pengobatan filosofis, tanpa India, Yunani, pengaruh Yahudi dan Kristen. Mendengar, musik telah menjadi fitur dari beberapa sufi, sementara beberapa sufi menolak. Sedangkan menurut orang lain antara dua posisi. Hal ini dimengerti bahwa Darwis dan pemimpinnya Jalaluddin Rumi dari pendukung terbesar sidang dan menari dzikir sufi. Karena sidang yang memfasilitasi irama kasih sayang untuk jiwa. Secara umum, sufi yang terkait dengan mendengarkan satu atau lain cara apakah mereka telah menggunakan rebana dan drum dan Almzahr Alnayat atau mereka hanya berbicara Situs tertimbang menurut penyanyi Maqamath dan melodi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon where modern humans experience inner anxiety. The condition of human happiness is not only the satisfaction of physical needs, but also the fulfillment of inner needs. In the perspective of Sufism, efforts to fulfill inner needs are carried out by getting closer to God. Efforts to get closer to God in the science of Sufism begin with repentance. From those studies this research's aim is to study the phenomenon of repentance in cultural actors (javanes culture). In the area around the researcher, one of the cultural actors community is Forsabda (Art and Culture Discussion Forum). This study aims to determine the meaning and application of repentance to Forsabda activists. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological method. Data mining was carried out on Forsabda Tulungagung activists, to five participants with semi-structured interviews, participant observation and documentation methods. Participants were selected using a purposive sampling method with the following criteria: 1) Have a minimum age of 25 years, 2) Actively participate in Forsabda activities, 3) Willing to provide information. The data collected were analyzed using interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) techniques. The results of this study indicate that there are four meanings of repentance for Forsabda activists, namely self-awareness, self-evaluation, tawhidan, and habluminAllah. While the application of repentance to Forsabda activists is muhasabah, tawakal, tawadhu, istiqomah, gratitude, and inner peace.

Abstract

Today, the understanding of prayer and the practice of its implementation are still underestimated by some Muslims. Many who perform prayers but do not interpret the essence of prayer. And in this study the objects that were focused were the tarekat groups located in Pontianak City and its surroundings. This study aims to reveal the perspective of congregation congregation regarding understanding, practice and tips for special prayer 'in the performance of the prayers performed. In this study the method used to uncover these aspects is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach supported by field data in the form of written interviews, observations and documentation. The analytical method used in this study is a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the study concluded, that basically congregation or adherents of the tarekat have some differences in understanding the meaning of prayer, practices and tips for special prayer. But even though they are different in some ways, they are also the same for other things.

Abstract

A Studi about Osman Nuri Topbaş idea. The article will present the Osman Nuri Topbaş sufism ideas and his positive response to science, particularly in the natural science. This study is using library research. The result of this study shows that Osman Nuri Topbas integrated the meaning of sufism in reading universe. For him first,  that all God's creation from the micro level to the macro level is a remarkable manifestation of Divineart. Secondly, he recalled the importance of capturing wisdoms in tangible physical world. And third, the consequences to catch wisdoms of the physical world are a necessity for us to develop a more sophisticated methodology than the bid from natural science recently. He realized that science has indeed marginalized religion, but it does not mean that Osman is anti-West science. The important is that science must be inspired by the values of Sufism.

Abstract

Since the beginning of the industrial 4.0 and digital era, the internet has become one of the tools that cannot be responded to by the community, so that in everyday life all activities on the internet. With the presence of the internet, virtual spaces are able to provide virtual communication spaces, one of which is through social media. The social media most used by Indonesians are Youtube, WhatsApp, and Instagram. Of the three platforms, the most popular among the public is Instagram, especially Instagram, which is an effective means of preaching in the digital era. The reason the researchers chose this research, first, from Islamic content, Sufi content becomes content that attracts attention. Second, Sufi expressions are constructed in people's daily experiences. Observations were made by the author using a hashtag (#sufiindonesia) through Instagram using a qualitative approach with a virtual ethnographic method. The results showed that first, the expressions that appear in Sufi practice cannot be separated from the clarity of the day and inner sincerity; second, Sufi expressions include the values of raghabah, ri'ayah, inbisath, wira’i, and mahabbah; third, the expression of sufism in this era often shifts traditional Sufi behavior that describes urban communities from surfing in cyberspace.
