Abstract

The Role of Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique in Handling Nosocomephobia. This article aims to find out how the role of SEFT in dealing with psychiatric conditions, namely in cases of anxiety disorders, especially in hospital anxiety (nosocomephobia). Nosocomephobia can be defined as excessive fear associated with hospitals. Efforts to manage nosocomephobia become very important to do because in general patients with nosocomepobia will refuse to go to the hospital and as a result, adverse effects include the risk of death. The data collection in this article was obtained through the subject's statement regarding judgments related to anxiety that arises. Analysis of the data in this article is done by comparing the level of anxiety before and after therapy. The result showed a decrease in judgment related to the condition of perceived anxiety. The success of SEFT in reducing anxiety can be influenced by the existence of faith, solemnity, sincerity, resignation, and grateful to Allah Swt.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemikiran Haji Abdul Malik Karim Abdullah di bidang tasawuf. Tasawuf modern bagi Hamka adalah penerapan dari sifat: qanaah, ikhlas, siap fakir tetapi tetap semangat dalam bekerja. Selain itu, seorang sufi di abad modern juga dituntut untuk bekerja secara giat dengan diniati karena Allah SWT. Hamka memberi panduan dalam beretika atau bersikap bagi seorang sufi berdasarkan profesi masing masing. Terdapat etika  di bidang pemerintahan,bisnis dan ekonomi, serta bidang kedokteran. Hamka menulis Etika untuk  guru, murid, dokter, pengacara dan pengarang. Jika seorang muslim dengan beberapa profesi tersebut dapat mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai Islam maka, Ia bisa di sebut sebagai seorang sufi di abad modern.  Tasawuf tidak hanya di artikan zuhud yang menyepi, menjauhi dunia secara normal, tetapi harus aktif bekerja.

Abstract

The modern western perspective initiated by the renaissance and the enlightenment century successfully couped the reality of God. This was carried out by some western intellectuals and thinkers, which ultimately gave obscurity to the human concept. The obscurity of this concept then has implications for the meaning of the progress of human civilization. This further gives serious problems to almost the entire social order.   Husain's struggle as the eternal history of humanity interpreted through Hermeneutics Scheleiermacher provides another perspective on human concepts and the progress of civilization. The monotheistic values they contain glance at the sides of spirituality as a measure of the progress of civilization. From it the definition of civilization gained new space and paved the way for human potentials that were inherently the cornerstone of the progress of civilization. This paper tries to uncover the values of Imam Husain's struggle in Karbala which is interpreted through Schleiermacher's psychological and grammatical interpretation and contextualizes it with the concept of Coomaraswamy spiritual civilization, as a foundation for the meaning of civilization using historical and descriptive analysis methods. So that the paradigm of the progress of civilization gets an alternative new perspective, and spirituality can be used as a measure of the progress of civilization.

Abstract

The aim this article was described or represented and explained to society about spiritual well-being in Sufism perspective and also had represented about spiritual well-being activities within life society. It also used necessary field research to discussion about it, then founded literature relevant in supported. Also could formulated problem research, there were; How was interpreted Sufism perspective in spiritual well-being?, What had spiritual well-being activities existed in society yet?. To answered those problems research used qualitative phenomenology method, with used unstructured and intimated interviews to data collected.  And also could result there were; spiritual well-being in society perspectives, achievement in spiritual well-being, detention in spiritual well-being, and roles family in achievement spiritual well-being, also attitude in spiritual well-being in society.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the methods and validity of esoteric interpretations in studying the Qur'an. The Qur'an is the last book revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. contained in various aspects of the teachings, both concerning aspects of faith, worship, mu'amalah and morals. The various teachings in the Qur'an are mentioned globally. Therefore, a method is needed to know these teachings. In understanding the Qur'an, it can be reached through the bi al-Ma'tsur, bi al-Ma'qul and bi al-Isyari (esoteric) methods. This bi al-Isyari method has its own uniqueness, because the Islamic interpretation is a spiritual interpretation. Thus, the Islamic or esoteric interpretation also requires a spiritual method, namely through Tazkiyatunnafsi, concentrating on reading the Qur'an with tadabbur, tafakkur, tadzakkur and tayaqqudh. The results of the analysis show that esoteric interpretation is considered valid if it fulfills four requirements, namely not contrary to the shari'ah, does not conflict with the final meaning, is not so far away and the interpreter does not claim that his interpretation is the only valid interpretation.

Abstract

A formalistic religious lifestyle is often the cause of the spiritual emptiness of society. This is due to Islamic learning which only considers the outward aspects and overrides its inner aspects as a result of which life balance is not achieved. Sufism as an inner side of Islam offers a solution to how to enrich the mind without leaving the business of being born. This article aims to make a reading on the transformation of sufistic values by Tuanku Buya Sayyidi Maliki in the Taklim Miftahul Istiqomah Assembly. The results of this study indicate that in order to enrich the inner side of religious life, methods are used to transform concepts from Sufism (Sufistic values) into teachings manifested in everyday life, namely the concept of human nature with brotherhood, the concept of the existence of teachers with Bai'at, the concept of science with the existence of the Istiqomah taklim assembly, and the mujahadah concept by fighting lust.

Abstract

Al-qur'an is the last book that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, its contents are in the form of commands and prohibitions that can lead people to a happy life, both in the world and in the hereafter. The instructions contained in al-qur'an are sometimes conveyed explicitly and are sometimes conveyed implicitly or which are referred to as esoteric meaning or isyari meaning. To be able to capture the esoteric meaning of al-Qur'an verses, a specific method is needed. This specific method for example by clearing the heart of things that are worldly. Besides that it must be taken by concentrating on reading the verses of the Qur'an through tadabbur, tafakkur, tadzakhur, tayaqqudh and hudlur al-qalbi.

Abstract

This research discusses Syeikh Siti Jenar as a study of figures which shows the transition of tasawuf discourse in Indonesia from the modern to the postmodern. This research will contain a sub-discussion of a brief description of the study of Sufism in the West and Indonesia, a brief overview of Indonesian Islamic discourse from the period prior to independence, after independence and reformation, Sheikh Siti Jenar in earlier work and in present work and the last transition of Sufism discourse in case Sheikh Siti Jenar. From the sub-discussion will show the global discourse of the study of Sufism from the West greatly affect the study of tasawuf in Indonesia both in terms of approaches and methods used.

Abstract

Islam adalah agama yang mengatur semua lini kehidupan secara lengkap. Islam mengatur hubungan antara seorang hamba dengan Khaliq-nya (kesolehan individu), antara manusia dengan manusia yang lain (kesolehan sosial), dan juga mengatur hubungan antara manusia dengan alam sekitarnya (kesolehan lingkungan). Kehadiran Islam di tengah kehidupan masyarakat mampu mewujudkan kedamaian dan kasih sayang tidak hanya dengan manusia, namun dengan Allah SWT sebagai sang Khaliq dan juga alam sekitar. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang upaya meningkatkan kesolehan sosial melalui ajaran zakat dan wakaf. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa zakat merupakan ajaran Islam yang bersifat mengikat kepada setiap orang yang telah memenuhi syarat. Hakikat zakat adalah harta titipan Allah SWT yang harus dikeluarkan oleh seseorang untuk kemaslahatan bersama. Kemaslahatan yang ditimbulkan zakat dapat membersihkan jiwa dan harta pembayar zakat (Muzakki) dan dapat memberi ketenangan batin. Ini karena pembayar zakat (Muzakki) telah melaksanakan kewajiban yang ditentukan Allah SWT. Sedangkan wakaf merupakan bentuk mendonasikan sebagian harta untuk dimanfaatkan secara produktif oleh umat. Asset wakaf dapat digunakan untuk aktifitas tertentu dan juga untuk pelayanan publik sebagai bentuk kebaktian seseorang kepada bangsa dan perkhidmatan kepada para generasi yang akan datang. Wakaf merupakan amal jariyah untuk menumbuhkan jiwa kepedulian antar sesama yang pahalanya terus mengalir meskipun Wakif telah meninggal dunia.

Abstract

Millennial Youth Empowerment Through the Program for Strengthening the Identity of Muslim Youth in the Community Home Education Based Akhlak and Talent. Youth with age characteristics who have a tempestuous spirit, the development of thinking power and the development of maximum maturity, in Islamic history have contributed a lot to world civilization. But today's youth seem to have started to lose their identity. Many young people are confused about the purpose of their lives, their life orientation is not directed to the good of the afterlife Therefore, it is important to have a youth empowerment program. The research approach uses a qualitative method with field research. The results of the study revealed that the Home Education Based Akhlak and Talent (HEBAT) community is one of the programs that empowers youth with the values of fitrah-based education (Insan Kamil). The program tries to apply a fitrah assessment model with a mentoring method to ignite the nature of youth so that they shine beautifully into youth who have an empowered paradigm that is not only seen from an economic perspective, but empowered which means freedom from serving other than Allah. Youth who can have an impact on community empowerment are youth who are integrated between mental and spiritual, transmit the spirit of monotheism in addition to the science and technology they master, and are adaptive to the times. The role of the youth is as a solution for the community and as proof of work as a provision for the afterlife.
