Abstract

Press freedom is implementation of people sovereignty and democratic country In a law based democratic country such as Indonesia, human rights must be consistently implemented especially in absolute rights, i.c. civil and politics rights. Politics rights in the context of human rights include freedom to give opinion, written and oral, which will be the basic of press freedom that has been regulated in UU no. 40, 1999.

Abstract

Police Department is one part of criminal justice system in conducting police investigation to look for and find the suspects of the criminal then it is given feedback by arresting, jailing, and frisking as well as seizuring. The acts should be based on Decree Number 8 Year 1981 about Law Agenda on Crime to guarantee and protect human basic rights.

Abstract

After changing Paragraph 5-article (1) and Paragraph 20 article (1) of UUD 1945 in 1999 as the first change on UUD 1945, then in practice there is a changed nuance on legislative power implementation in Republic of Indonesia. Initially as the main decision-maker; president had the right to formulate decree but then the right is given to Indonesian Legislative Assembly (DPR) without leaving cooperative relation between them. The results of the power shift asserts the function of Indonesian Legislative Assembly on decree making, so that they must be able to be initiators on every process of decree making. It is this claim that has been the pursuits of democratic life for this long and will provide larger authority to the parliament on state law suite to adjust parliament authority and government.

Abstract

As a public policy instruments, implementation of sugar import commerce system should subject to fulfilling society needs especially customers, such as sugar cane farmers and sugar factories. The potential law violent towards cartel and oligopoly is based on "rule of reason" prohibition so that there is an act in accordance to elements of new related paragraphs when has been proven having negative effects.

Abstract

Corruption in Indonesia has been recognized in bureaucratic and banking level that nowadays it has entered the legislative level. Uncovered corruption cases on members of Province Legislative Assembly recently follows the implementation of Decree Number 22 Year 1999 that one of the aims is functioning and rolling the legislative assembly Thus it requires detail evaluation on the causes of the corruption practice in the Legislative Assembly and finally finds ways to prevent such practice.
