The journal contents are managed by the Binus Business School, Faculty of Economics and Communications, and Forum Manajemen Indonesia (FMI). BBR has been accredited by DIKTI under the decree number 158/E/KPT/2021. BBR provide a forum for lecturers, academicians, researchers, practitioners, and postgraduate students to publish empirical multidiscipline research in business & management research, from operations to corporate governance and marketing. All empirical methods including, but not limited to, qualitative, quantitative, field, laboratory, meta-analytic, and mixed methods are welcome.

Abstract

To compete with nowadays business is to implement technology and align it into their business strategy. One of technology that commonly implement is Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This research will examined what are critical success factor of ERP and the impact of their business outcomes. A framework model for ERP Implementation success is constructs from several research or previous study in Implementation ERP. This study will extends in the research field of successful implementation ERP and implication factor for business practice to have more knowledge in term of implementation ERP and their business strategy.

Abstract

Lately, the business development based on religion background, Islam, is growing and expanding. Besides banking, insurance, education, and others, the sharia concept also in hotel. Sharia hotel is an interesting phenomenon. On the other side, the appearance of sharia hotels in the nation is having two thumbs up. Sharia hotel brand, as in other sharia products, eventhough the target market is more specific and segmented, but it is possible that the product will have high demand not from Islamic community only. The article uses research method regarding trend analysis and literature review. The result showed that there is challenge towards sharia hotels to present concept, human resources and implementation that represents business figure based on sharia: eastern specialty, barokah, classy, and interesting.

Abstract

The effective Internal Control System plays fundamental role in a strong corporate governance. This case study describes and discusses how the implementasion of internal control system in small and medium companies, the characteristics, and the weaknesses and strengths of internal control in the companies. This case study shows that the characteristics of small and medium companies contribute to the weaknesses and strengths of internal control they have. The understanding of the characteristics and effectiveness of small and medium companies internal control will help auditors to conduct financial audit as well as performance audit.

Abstract

PT. PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jakarta Raya dan Tangerang have implemented Internal Control and Good Corporate Governance. The research would like to evaluate the implementation of Internal Control accordance with COSO’s criteria (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission) and KNKG’s criteria (Komite Nasional Kebijakan Governance). Based on research found that five components of COSO such as control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, monitoring have been implemented but unfortunately one of the component such as control activities not yet implemented properly accordance with COSO’s criteria. The company also have been imlemented GCG accordance with KNKG’s criteria but still need development through internalization GCG’s spirit among the employees because some employees still have different perception related to GCG. For example from employee stand point there’s no problem receive special gift or receive special payment from customer and have a conflict of interest when deal with public accountant.

Abstract

Marketing-oriented concept of community not only relies on community needs, but also can bring prosperity through environmental responsibility around; in this case the product and the marketing are more environmentally friendly. Application of green products and green advertising might attract widespread public sympathy, and even requirements for operational permits, production and ease of obtaining bank credit facility or tax relief may be considered by the government that is now more incentive to campaign for the concept and implementation of policies and regulations of corporate social responsibility. The objectives of this study was to determine whether there is influence of green product and green advertising toward consumer involvement and also its impact on consumer purchasing decisions Laksmi florist company. A survey with analysis of individual consumer of Lakmi florist is conducted, while path analysis is used to determine the effect among variables. The results showed that green advertising as well as green product provide a positive and significant influence on consumer involvement that have an impact on consumer purchasing decisions of Laksmi Florist company.

Abstract

This research is to identify the influence of store atmosphere (X1) and store image (X2) towards consumers purchase decision (Y) in Gramedia bookstore Pondok Indah. The method used in this research is descriptive method, with multiple regression analysis technique, through using data gathered from distribution questionnaire to 100 samples of consumers in Gramedia bookstore Pondok Indah. The analysis result showed that store atmosphere and store image have significant influent towards consumers purchase decision in Gramedia bookstore Pondok Indah. In other words, the purchase decision of consumers in Gramedia bookstore Pondok Indah is influenced significantly by store atmosphere and store image in the mind of the consumers.

Abstract

Financial analysis is useful for all company to measure their performance and expected to show improvement result in order to determine the company’s condition. . Financial ratios are tools to help anticipate the future conditions and to predict some actions or strategies that will useful in improving the company’s future performance, which is from evaluating the previous financial statement. Using financial ratios this research tries to impose one indicator, post employment benefit and how it would impact company financial performance. PT. ABC Will be the object case which implementation the post employment benefit based on particular regulation PSAK No. 24 (revision 2004). The researcher would like to focuses on the profitability ratios by Return on Asset ratio (ROA), liquidity ratio by Current Ratio (CR) and the leverage ratio by Debt-Equity ratio.

Abstract

Purchase decisions aren’t made necessarily planned, because impulsive buying is such a result of environmental stimuli shopping. Things affecting unplanned purchasing decisions are perceived by stimulation and crowding. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there are influences between perceived crowding and stimulation of impulse buying simultaneously or partial. The object used is one of the largest retailers in Cilegon. This research design is quantitative analysis of the consumer unit. The collecting data technique includes using questionnaires, interviews, and literature from previous research. Data processed using the SPSS 16.0 program through the validity and reliability, normality test, and regression analysis. The study states that there is significant influence between perceived crowding and perceived stimulation both simultaneous and partial response to impulse buying.

Abstract

One of the growing tourism facilities is the restaurant that offers a certain menu. Can be ascertained with the development of restaurants in the city of Bogor and the race in competition provides satisfaction to its customers are increasing. Although customer satisfaction is one of the main goals, but there is another side that often burdens the mind of the restaurant. The burden of thought is simply presented in the following question: why is the menu that is sold in demand does not provide a significant profit, but the menu that is sold less in demand has made significant profit. One of the efforts made to face the fact this is the menu still serves as a typical restaurant menu, even though profits are not significant. On the other principle that the sale should provide benefits can still be significant, so to overcome this problem required steps up marketing strategies and design with attention to any changes that occurred.
