Abstract

Study of the Number of the Amount of Beed a Hole Planting and Packages Fertilizer onGrowth and Yield of Mung Bean (Vigna radiata L.) Varieties Vima-1. Mung bean (Vignaradiata L.) is one of bean plant – nuts for many consumption in Indonesia. The low productwas’nt cultivation techniques that supposed to, including the amount of seed each holeplanting and fertilizer giving them. The study aims to determine the amount seed hole theplanting and fertilizer best to the growth and yield of mung bean varieties vima-1. Researchcarried out in Subak Basangbe, Perean Kangin village, Baturiti – Tabanan, in October –December, 2014. The study was designed using a factorial randomized block design. The firstfactor the amount of seed a hole planting (1, 2, 3 seed), factor two of fertilizer (organicfertilizer compost, fertilizer chemical urea + TSP + KCl, organic fertilizer liquid biourin,organic fertilizer compost and fertilizer chemical urea + TSP + KCl, organic fertilizercompost and organic fertilizer liquid biourin, fertilizer chemical urea + TSP + KCl andorganic fertilizer liquid biourin). The growth of mung bean varieties Vima-1 is mainly ofplant height and number of leaves affected very real by the number of seeds planting hole andfertilizer package. Treatment of the amount of seed planting hole and fertilizer packages tovery significant effect on yield components, especially the number of pods and number ofseeds of plants on mung bean varieties Vima-1. Treatment of the amount of seed planting holeaffects most of the components of plant growth and yield components of mung bean. Thehighest yield on three planting seeds per hole that is 3,67 t / ha dry weight oven.

Abstract

The Effect of Banana Extract at The VW Media on Root Induction and Growth of ShootDendrobium Lasianthera J.J.Sm. Orchid has economic potential as a non-oil exportcommodities which can increase foreign exchange. In addition to supporting industry as cutflowers and potted plants, Dendrobium orchid in particular has been widely recognized as atraditional medicine. Orchids can be propagated in vitro using seed. The main problem in thepropagation of orchid through seed culture is difficulty in root formation. In this study, weevaluated the effect of organic compounds of the banana extract at Vacin and Went mediumcontaining peptone 2 gL-1 to induce growth of root and shoot of the Dendrobium lasianthera.The shoot measuring about 0.3-1.0 cm contain of 1-2 leaves obtained from the seedgermination was cultured on VW medium containing 2 gL-1 peptone additives with 50 gL-1,100 gL-1 and 150 gL-1 banana extract, and without banana extract was used as control. After16 weeks of culture, number of roots, number of leaves, root length, leaf length, the shootheight, root and leaf widest diameters were recorded. Data were statistically analyzed usingANOVA and continued by honestly significance difference (HSD). The results showed thatthe extract of banana statistically gave a significant effect on root induction and growth ofshoot D. lasianthera.

Abstract

Implementation Strategy and Technology of IPC to Support Terms of Quality Agricultural Products Era Dealing in Global Trade. In the era of free trade in the world, export-import activities, especially agricultural products and other dairy products, according to the agency authorized trade-WTO states that the flow of goods can no longer inhibited by rules such as tariffs and other barriers, but by the quality standards of agricultural and processed products. Faced with this situation, the government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Agriculture has issued regulation No. 27/Permentan/PP.340/5/2009 about oversight of expenditures and revenues fresh food of plant origin. In addition, it was also applied to the field school IPC and implement SOPs for agricultural products exported as coffee and cocoa.

Abstract

In Vitro Transformation of Flowering Gene through Agrobacterium tumefaciens on Vandatricolor Orchid. Research concerning of Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of Vanda tricolor orchid had been done during March to August 2014. Objectives of this research wasto investigate the effects of period of inoculation with Agrobacterium suspension and application of acetosyringone (AS) on the percentage of transforman candidates. The T-DNA harbored the PaFT gene under the control of promoter of Ubiquitin and the hpt gene, ahygromycine resistant gene as a selectable marker for transformant selection. This T-DNA was constructed in the PGAS vector and transferred to the plant genome mediated by A. tumefaciens. The period of inoculation with Agrobacterium and application ofAcetosyringone (AS) were trialed in this research. The result showed that a period of one hour inoculation with Agrobacterium suspension added with 25 ppm AS resulted in the highest number of transforman candidates. i.e. 7.04% compared to 4.10% (one hour inoculation without AS), 3.76% (two hours inoculation without AS), and 4.48% (two hours inoculation with 25 ppm AS).

Abstract

Effect of Application Frequency of NT45 and Urea Fertilizer on Growth and Yield ofPeanut. The productivity of peanut in Indonesia was decline in last year because of thechanging of the land function especially in Java. We need to find the new area for peanut.And one of them is Ultisol that is marginal land. The peanut productivity in Indonesian is stilllow because of that we have to improve our cultivation technique especially on Ultisol. Theaimed of this research was to find best combination between NT45 organik fertilizer and Ureafertilizer dosage for increasing growth and yield of the peanut. The research was conducted inFactorial 3 x 3 in Randomized Completely Design with three replications. The first factor wasfrequency of giving NT45 consisted of two level : once and twice giving. The second factorwas Urea fertilizer dosage consisted of three levels : 25 kg/ha (B1), 50 kg/ha (B2) and 75kg/ha (B3). The result showed that pod production of peanut was lower on giving 25 kg/haUrea than NT45 and Urea. Once (20 ton/ha) and twice application (40 ton/ha) NT45 organikfertilizer showed that the result of pod and grain yield were the same. On dossage 50 kg/Ureagave best pod yield on Ultisol.

Abstract

The Characterization and Identification of Plant Natural Dye Tenun PegringsinganTenganan Village. The aim of the research was to know the dyeing process and the kind ofplant dyes are used in the manufacture of dye Pegringsingan in the village of Tenganan andthe plant characterize morphological and agronomic. The method used in this study wasexplorative and survey method. Implementation of the study consisted of three phases ofactivities, namely (1) the collection of secondary data, (2) surveys various plants natural dyeused for tenun pegringsingan and distribution, and (3) the identification of morphological andagronomic characters. The results showed there were four plant dyes for tenun pegringsingani.e sunti or noni (Morinda citrifolia) as a red dye, walnut (Aleurites moluccana (L.) Willd ) asa yellow dye, kepundung white or red (Baccaurea racemosa Var. white, Baccaurea racemosaVar. red), taum (Indigofera sp) producing a blue color.

Abstract

Identification and Characterization of Fruits in Karangasem Regency. The fruits in aregion has the potential to be developed. The fruits in Karangasem Regency, Bali, need to bedeveloped, due to economic value, role in the socio-cultural (religious rituals), SPA facilities,and participating in trade within the country and export. In developing the genetic resourcesof the fruit is a need to identify, characterize, and preparation of maps geographic distributionof fruit. The study aims to identify, characterize, and preparation of maps geographicdistribution of fruit. The study consisted of five phases of activities, namely: (1) secondarydata collection, (2) identification of the type and cultivar, (3) identification of agronomiccharacterization, (4) determine the seeded fruit, (5) make a map of the geographicaldistribution of fruit in Karangasem regency. The results showed that identified 37 species and59 cultivar of fruit contained in Karangasem Regency, composed of 59 pieces profileKarangasem Regency, and made the maps geographic distribution of salak fruit inKarangasem Regency.
