Abstract

Librarian is a certain functional positions. If the number of credits already completed and elements of performance appraisal or implementation work in DP3 at least good, so a librarian could be promoted every two years or up positions every year. In practice many factors that influence the promotion / librarian position. These factors can be categorized into internal factors and external factors. Competency of librarians into the resulting performance parameters of a librarian and can be assessed by the number of credits. In addition to the competence of the librarian is concerned, the party who was also influence in the career development librarians are: immediate supervisor, the employee, and the assessment team.

Abstract

Communication is the delivery of messages between human effort. These efforts are done directly and some are using the media. Who uses the term media called mediated communication. Mediated communication in the sense that the mass media can be viewed from two perspectives, that is communication and sociology. From the point of such communication is communication using mass media, such as newspapers, radio, television and film, including books. Meanwhile, from the perspective of sociology, mass communication is a communication addressed to the masses, such as              a speech before the masses. Thus including book, because the book is addressed to the masses, the many people who took an interest and need. Along with developments led to more extensive coverage of mass communication, including books. Because the books are intended for the masses. Moreover, the books contained in the library is obviously intended for students and other campus academic community to meet a variety of needs.

Abstract

Information literacy is an important skill for librarian todays in global era, so that information literacy for librarian not only marked literate and able to read it only. However, the actual application is more than that, because it was supposed mastery of information literacy becomes an integral part of the librarian. Librarians should be manager of science, because every day struggling with a variety of resources. In response to this, then inevitably the librarian should be able to search the information in the library either manually or online.

Abstract

One of the research literature (library research) retrieval of data or materials needed to complete the study came from the library, including books, ensklopedi, dictionaries, journals, documents, magazines and so on. Criteria used to select reading materials that (a) recency (recency) and (b) relevance (relevance). Except for historical research, should avoid the use of reading materials that are already old and more recent selected sources. Source that has long been possible to load the theories or concepts that are no longer valid, because kebenarnnya theory has been refuted by newer or more recent research results.

Communication is the role of communication sciences to the library, any institutions  has a close relationship with communication including the library.An institution is difficult to develop and progress without communication,especially librarians who have a duty as an exellent service to users. Abstract

The issue of election officials to occupy a strategic position became the deep concern. It is common knowledge that if you want to become officers must spend some money, ethnicity, and proximity ("isms"). To avoid this, the solutions offered are software engineering (RPL / software engineering) with the help of computer-based information systems as decision support direct election of the method of AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). AHP method was applied to computer-based systems in particular to determine the official candidates who will occupy strategic positions in an organization. Election officials have to determine some criteria. The criteria are organized in a matrix form in pairs

Abstract
