Abstract

Abstract : The tourism industry in Jembarana Regency of Bali is currently still hobbling. His contribution to the Jembrana Regional budget is still very minimal. Indeed accessibility to tourist destinations in Jembrana is often an obstacle for tourists, but internal factors that affect the performance of Jembrana tourism businesses are very important to be studied and analyzed, especially for tourism businesses actors and the role of government of the Jembrana Regency. Internal factors in tourism business are strongly influenced by the capacity of social capital, entrepreneurial culture of tourism actors and the role of the government in the development of tourism business. Based on a survey and structured interviews on 75 tourism entrepreneurs in Jembrana Regency of Bali, modeling by SEM-PLS with the help of Smart PLS 3.0 software, the results obtained are: (1) structural equation model has met the appropriate qualifications, the measurement model obtained is valid and reliable, while the structural model is quite good, (2) the performance of tourism businesses in Jembrana Regency is positively and significantly influenced by orientation entrepreneurship and the role of government but insignificant influence on social capital, and (3) internal factors that affect the performance of tourism businesses in Jembrana Regency of Bali; sequentially are: entrepreneurial orientation of business people, the role of government in tourism development, and finally the capacity of social capital owned by tourism entrepreneurs. Abstract

This paper shows the initial research about the design of optimal investment policy of the public company in resource conservation, by using optimal control model. The mathematical bioeconomics model in using of mathematical modeling for resource conservation is a dynamics problem. The successfull of resource conservation management must fully take account of the time dimension for sustained equilibrium bioeconomics.  The design of a dynamic optimization model is solved  by optimal control strategy via maximum principle Pontryagin of Hamiltonian expressi. We have the conclusion that the optimization of present value for resource conservation very dependent of time domain, how long stock optimal can be sustained  for is given initial stock.

Abstract

One of the efforts to develop the rural economy is the establishment of economic institutions such as Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) which are supported by the role of the local government and are based on the wishes of the village community. This BUMDes is expected to be able to increase market demand based on proper management of the existing village potential. Through cooperative behavior (social capital), synergy and a good entrepreneurial orientation in BUMDes managers and the positive role of the government it is hoped that there will be an increase in BUMDes business performance in Jembrana Regency. The purpose of this study is to comprehensively analyze the role of government and social capital of business managers through entrepreneurial orientation towards BUMDes business performance in Jembrana Regency. The basis of multivariate analysis used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Through a research sample of 90 respondents from BUMDes managers in Jembrana Regency, the results are obtained: (1) social capital and the role of government directly have a positive but not significant effect on business performance, while entrepreneurial orientation has a positive and significant effect on business performance, and (2) social capital and the role of the government in a total positive and significant effect and require full mediation (full mediation) through entrepreneurial orientation to the business performance of BUMDes in Jembrana Regency, Bali.

Abstract

This research aimed to (1) estimate the survival functions, and (2) investigate the effect of some covariates toward the survival time  from hospitalization time data in Public Health Center of Indralaya. The research subjects consisted of all the diarrhea patients who were hospitalized within the period from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014. The patient's characteristics were sex, age, job, and disease status. The result showed that the lowest probability of a patient will be out of hospitalization was on the fourth day and the highest probability was on the fifteenth day. In order to find the best model, some statistical tests were also conducted in this research.

Abstract

Dalam banyak area riset seperti biologi dan ilmu kedokteran, sering dijumpai jumlah amatan terlalu sedikit atau informasi yang diperoleh sangat sedikit atau terbatas. Inferensi dengan menggunakan teorema limit pusat untuk menyimpulkan statistik yang diteliti mendekati normal tentu tidaklah tepat. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan titik sadel (saddlepoint approximation). Artikel ini mengulas konsep dan beberapa perkembangan penting pendekatan titik sadel seperti pendekatan titik sadel untuk rata-rata, fungsi distribusi kumulatif, distribusi bersyarat, statistik umum, dan distribusi posterior.

Abstract

Unemployment insurance is designed to overcome some of the financial problems faced by workers who have been involuntarily terminated from their jobs. The benefit insurance is financed based on the contributory from an employer, employee or government in recent times, some developing countries have been establishing unemployment insurance. This research aims to analyze the unemployment insurance products in Indonesia. Especially to analyze the financial viability of the product. The method used is the equivalence premium principle. Based on data sourced from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and a claim rate of 10%, it is found that a premium rate of 5% of insured wages would support a benefit level of 50% of the wages for 43 weeks. This premium rate would also support 70% of the wages for 32 weeks. Meanwhile, the premium rate of 1% of the participant wages would guarantee a benefit level of 50% for 6 weeks.

Abstract

Mangrove forest or known as bakau forest is important forest as a natural wave barrier or tsunami wave mitigation. Some advantages of mangrove forest to reduce the water waves are already studied. Mangrove forest in north coast of Bali’s island, Buleleng regency, Indonesia is in damaged condition. The aim of this paper is to present the importance of mangrove forest as the water wave mitigation in numerical simulation point of view. Moreover, the results also show the effect of tsunami propagation to the coastal area with and without mangrove resistance. Here, the nonlinear shallow water equations are used to govern the model of numerical simulation.

Abstract

Sistem dinamik dapat dikembangkan dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan.Seperti dalam bidang ekonomi, salah satu sistem dinamik dalam bidang iniadalah model siklus bisnis. Ada beberapa model siklus bisnis, diantaranya modelIS-LM. Dalam penelitian ini akan dianalisa model siklus bisnis IS-LM dengan parametertime delay. Perbedaan antara keputusan investasi dengan implementasinyamenganjurkan untuk merumuskan model siklus bisnis IS-LM yang baru, yang memperlihatkanbahwa dinamika model sangat bergantung pada parameter time delay(waktu persiapan periode investasi). Dalam penelitian ini akan digunakan teoremabifurkasi Hopf untuk memprediksi kejadian dari limit cycle untuk parameter timedelay, yang menggambarkan siklus dari model IS-LM.

Abstract

Yulis’s home industry is one of the Small and Medium Bussiness (UKM) on Palembang city. Yulis’s home industry produces bolu kukus, kue lapis, kue pare, kumbu kacang, srikaya, and wajik. Most of cakes that will be produced by Yuli is still based on the cake sale on the last day, so that the profit is still not optimal condition. This research aims to create preemptive priority additive approach to Fuzzy Goal Programming Probabilistic (PFGP) model with Pareto distribution for maximize profits, minimize the production of perishable cake, and maximize best sellers cake. The results are obtained maximum profit is Rp. 8.488.569 on a week , the amount of perishable cake is 1,295 pieces on a week, and optimal production for best seller cake as much as 8,489 pieces on a week.

Abstract

Suatu modul M dikatakan mempunyai demensi Goldie berhingga jika modul tersebuttidak memuat suatu jumlahan langsung dari takberhingga banyak submodul-submodultaknol. Sedangkan, suatu gelanggang R dikatakan mempunyai dimensi Goldie kanan berhinggajika gelanggang tersebut mempunyai dimensi Goldie berhingga sebagai suatu modul kanan.Tulisan ini akan menyajikan beberapa sifat dari modul dan gelanggang yang mempunyai dimensiGoldie berhingga. Sifat-sifat tersebut bukanlah merupakan sifat-sifat yang baru. Namundemikian, tulisan ini akan menyajikan pembuktian dari sifat-sifat tersebut dengan cara yanglebih terperinci dan lengkap sehingga lebih mudah dimengerti, terutama bagi pembaca pemuladalam bidang aljabar.
