Abstract

Abstract. A research on the implementation of problem based learning model aided superitem test of the ability of problem solving solubility and solubility product in SMA Negeri 1 Martapura. The research was quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group. The study population were students of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Martapura with a sample of 36 students of class XI student of Mathematics 1 and 35 2 XI MIPA obtained by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected with engineering test and non-test and analyzed using t-test and descriptive analysis. The results showed that (1) There are differences in problem solving ability of students to the application of problem based learning model superitem aided test and application of problem based learning model, (2) Activity student on the application of problem based learning model aided superitem tests more active than the student activity on the application Problem Based Learning models and, (3) students give positive response to the application of problem based learning model aided superitem test.Keywords: superitem test, problem based learning, problem solving.

Abstract

Abstract. A research on the use of the learning model SiMaYang on material solubility and solubility product (Ksp) at SMA Negeri 9 Banjarmasin. This study aims to determine (1) the activities of teachers, (2) the activity of students, (3) improving student learning outcomes, and (4) the students' responses. The study design was a classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects were students of class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 9 Banjarmasin by the number of students 32 people. Data were collected through observation, cognitive achievement test and questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis of quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed that (1) the activities of teachers from the category quite well in the first cycle increased to both categories at the second cycle, (2) Activity student of categories is quite active in the first cycle increased to a category active in the second cycle, (3) the cognitive learning students of the percentage of 53.57% in the first cycle increased to 90.625% in the second cycle, affective learning outcomes of the category quite well in the first cycle increased to both categories at the second cycle, psychomotor learning outcomes of the category enough in the first cycle increased to the skilled category the second cycle, (4) students showed a positive response.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Multiple Representations, models SiMaYang, solubility and solubility product (Ksp)

Abstract

Abstract. The researcher has done a research about teaching learning using guided inquiry model with real expriment and animation expriment in system coloid material at SMA Negeri 1 Martapura batch 2015/2016. The purpose of this research was knowing the difference between scienific literacy and the teaching learning result also students’ feedback among class which used guided inquiry with real experiment and class which used guided inquiry model with animation experiment. This research was included in Quasi Experimental with plan pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The samples of this research were 105 students, which consist of XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, and XI MIPA 3. The samples were choosen using sampling porposive. The researcher was using test technique and non test technique. Analysis data technique used normality test, homogenity test, and anava one way test.The result shows that (1) there was no difference of learning result which significant among learners who used guided inquiry model with real experiment and animation experiment on coloid system material.(2) there was a difference scientific literacy significantly among learners who used guided inquiry model with real experiment and animation experiment on coloid system material and (3) learners gave positive feedback toward teaching learning process which used guided inquiry model with real experiment and animation experiment on coloid system material.Key words: guided inquiry teaching learning model, real experiment method, animation experiment method, learning result, scientific literacy and coloid system.

Abstract

Abstract. Studies have been conducted to determine the effect (1) the use of models of Simayang Type II PhET media aided the learning outcomes of students (2) the use of models of Simayang Type II PhET media aided visual representation of the ability of a solution of acids and bases. This research used quasy experimental design. The sample in this study is a class XI PMIA 2 as an experimental class and XI PMIA 3 as the control class. Experiments class using PhET media Simayang model with Type II consists of four phases, namely orientation, exploration imagination conceptual representation, internalization and evaluation. The results showed that (1) There are differences between the results of post-test experimental class and control class that is impact on learning outcomes (2) There are differences between the results of post-test experimental class and control class so that is influence on the ability of visual representation.Keywords: Simayang Type II, Learning Outcomes, Visual Representation Capabilities, Solutions Acid Base, Media PhET.

Abstract

Abstract. A research on the application of learning models Creative Problem Solving in the material buffer solution which aims to improve (1) the activities of teachers, (2) the activity of students, (3) the ability to think creatively, (4) learning outcomes, and (5) students' response to learning. The study design was a classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles consist of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects were students of class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin with the number 36. Data were collected through observation, testing the ability of creative thinking and cognitive achievement test. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis of quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that (1) the activities of teachers has increased score of 12.33 (very good), (2) the activity of students has increased score of 17.33 (very active), (3) the ability of creative thinking of students for each indicator: ( a) fluency increased by 39.06%, (b) originality increased by 39.46%, (c) flexibility increased by 23.79%, (d) elaboration increased by 36.46% (4) the cognitive learning students classical increased by 25%, affective learning outcomes of students increased by 23.68% (excellent), and psychomotor learning outcomes of students increased by 16.3% (highly skilled), and (5) student of class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin responded positively to the learning model of learning by using Creative Problem Solving.Keywords: creative thinking ability, learning outcomes, creative problem solving

Abstract

Abstract.: A research on the chemical-based learning problem solving using real and virtual laboratory in terms of learning styles and learning outcomes in the electrolyte solution and Non-electrolytes material class X. This study aims to (1) determine differences in learning outcomes, (2) a description of evidence tendency learning styles, and (3) the response of students between classes with chemical-based learning problem solving using real lab and classes using virtual labs. Methods The study was a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. Samples were class X-7 as a learning experiment with using a virtual lab and X-4 as a control by learning using real lab. Collecting data using the testing techniques, observation and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using t-test, correlation and descriptive analysis. T-test was used to analyze differences in cognitive achievement grade students experiment with the control class. Correlation test was used to analyze the relationship between learning outcomes with students' learning styles. The results showed that (1) there are differences in cognitive learning outcomes significantly between grade students experiment with the control class, (2) kinesthetic tend to laboratory real while the visual and auditory tend to virtual labs, and (3) learning based chemistry problem solving using a laboratory the real and virtual received a positive response from the students on the material electrolyte solution and Non-electrolytes.Keywords: problem solving, real and virtual labs, learning outcomes, learning style.

Abstract

Abstrak. Research on the effect of learning model GIPS (Guided Inquiry Problem Solving) on the material salt hydrolysis. This study aims to determine: (1) differences in students critical thinking ability (2) differences in student learning achievement (cognitive, affective, psychomotor) on the material salt hydrolysis on a learning model GIPS (Guided Inquiry Problem Solving) and model GI (Guided Inquiry), (3) The students' response to the learning model GIPS on the material salt hydrolysis. This study uses nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample as many as 72 students, the class XI MIA 2 and 3. Samples were taken using cluster random sampling. The data collection technique using the test critical thinking ability and cognitive learning, observation and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis (N- gain) and inferential analysis (normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test). The results of this study indicate that (1) there is a difference significant critical thinking ablity (2) there are differences significant in student learning achievement (cognitive, affective, psychomotor) between students who use GIPS learning model with students using GI learning model. Abstract

Abstract. Has done research on the use of generative learning model in the material buffer solution which aims to determine (1) the activities of teachers, (2) the activity of students, (3) an increase in the ability to think creatively (4) improvement of learning outcomes, and (5) student response. The study design was a classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles consist of planning, action, observation and evaluation, as well as analysis and reflection. The subjects were students of class XI MS-7 SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin by the number of students 33 people. Data collection techniques using observation, testing creative thinking ability and achievement test. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis techniques passage and qualitative analysis. The results showed that (1) the activities of teachers has increased by 14.58%, (2) the activity of students has increased by 16.11%, (3) the ability of creative thinking of students for each indicator: (a) fluency increased by 8 33%, (b) flexibility increased by 16.67%, (c) elaboration increased by 8.33%, (d) Originality increased by 1.15%, (4) the results of studying the realm of knowledge of students increased by 15.39%, the result of studying the realm of attitudes increased by 7.40%, the result of studying the realm of skills increased by 8.64%, (5) students gave positive responses.Keyword: creative thinking ability, learning outcomes, buffers, generative learning model

Abstract

Abstract. Has done research on Metacognition skills using the model of the Self Regulated Learning (SRL) in material hydrolysis of salt in class XI MS 7 SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin academic year 2015/2016. This research aims to (1) find out the teacher's activity; (2) increasing the activity of students; (3) enhance the skills of the student's Metacognition; (4) improve cognitive aspects of learning results, affective and psychomotor students; and (5) know the response of students towards learning using Self Regulated Learning model (SRL). The research of using class action research design (PTK) is done in two cycles with a total of six times. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject is a student of Class XI MS 7 SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin with total number of 33 people. Research instrument in the form of instruments Metacognition skills tests and the results of student learning, and instrument in non test in the form of sheets of observation and question form. Data were analyzed with descriptive quantitative analysis techniques and qualitative analysis. The results showed that (1) the activity of the teachers increased from an average overall rating of 44.5 on cycle I became 55 on cycle II; (2) the activities of students increased from an average overall rating of 34.5 on cycle I became 47.5 cycle II; (3) the student's Metacognition skills increased from the average overall rating of rat 48.62 on cycle I became 81.81 on cycle II; (4) the cognitive students increased from 54.54% in cycle I became 90.90% in cycle II, affective students increased from an average overall rating of 8.6 on cycle I became 12.85 cycle II and psychomotor students increased from an average overall rating of 68.25 on cycle I became 85.83 on cycle II; and (5) student response shows excellent categories.Keywords: Metacognition Skills, Self Regulated Learning, Hydrolysis of Salts
