Abstract

Banjarbaru has become a thriving city with various existing communities, from art, food, clothing, conventional sports, and electronic sports, which can invite people from outside the city to come. The electronic sports in Banjarbaru has the potential to be developed as an opportunity to show the local children's potential and have quality players who are no less competitive. Along with the rapid development of E-Sports, and the increasing number of enthusiasts who are highly expected in Banjarbaru, a Guidance and Development are needed to accommodate E-Sport enthusiasts themselves to practice and obtain adequate facilities. The Eco-Futuristic Architecture theme is applied to the design because E-Sport is closely related to technology that has developed until today.

Abstract

Culinary is one of the attractions of the community which has experienced a lot of development to the phenomenon of hanging out culture which is currently a trend in Banjarbaru City. However, due to the absence of a place to accommodate this, a place was created in the form of a Food Court. The design of the Food Court in Banjarbaru City is the answer to this problem with the Third Place Method as a method of solving it which aims as a forum for visitors to carry out certain activities or relax while enjoying culinary delights. The concept applied is Communal Dining Place, which means a space that accommodates social activities and is used for the whole community or community. This concept is based on the actors in this design by considering the settings that are influenced by three elements, namely humans as the subject of actors, activities and human thoughts with different needs.

Abstract

Martapura is called the city of Mecca because it is known as a religious city. In 2019, the Banjar Regency government plans to create a place that houses the Yellow Book which will be located in Murung Kenanga Village, Martapura. The Yellow Book is the source of classical Islamic readings. The place that housed this was later called The Yellow Book Gallery. The purpose of this design is to learn and inform the general public, also as a center for the study and development of the Yellow Book to preserve it. The design method used is the method of Islamic architecture with the principle of habluminallah, habluminannas and hambluminal'alam. The design concept is a communicative and educative concept which is the result of linking the ta'dib program concept (ilm’, ta'lim, and tarbiyah) with the method of Islamic architecture.

Abstract

Geographically, Indonesia is an agricultural country with a very wide area and many have abundant natural resources, one of which is the beach which is often used by the government as a tourism industry sector. When viewed from the flow of tourist visitor growth in South Kalimantan, it has surged every year. In order for the development of the tourism sector of Batakan Baru Beach to increase, facilities and accommodations are needed that can accommodate all tourist activities. The right choice of accommodation facilities is a resort with a coast to coast glamping resort concept with a biomorphic architecture analogy design method. The choice of this concept is able to solve design problems that are disaster responsive and environmentally friendly and able to shape the behavior of visitors to participate in protecting the environment.

Abstract

The growth of the animation and video film sector was the highest in 2018 at 10.18%. This sector is a new opportunity for animators and VFX artists. Animation creators in South Kalimantan need a place to accommodate their skills in the form of an animation studio. The existence of an animation studio in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, opens up job opportunities for graduates of high schools (SMK) who focus on making animations. An animation studio will require a building design that will provide comfort for its users, so the space program needs to be considered and arranged efficiently. The problem raised in the studio design is how to design an animation studio that has an effective relationship between spaces and can provide ideas in the development of stories and the process of making animation? This problem is solved by preparing a space program based on the flow of the animation making work process and differentiating activity zones. The animation studio carries the concept of "Nature Feels" for relaxation and provides a sense of comfort in the work process. This atmosphere can also stimulate ideas in animation making.

Abstract

Wasaka II is one of the dormitories owned by university of lambung mangkurat. The interest of students, especially students who have just entered the lecture study period every year, has increased interest in living in dormitories, this is due to cheap housing costs and dormitory positions that are still in the campus area. The background of designing the Wasaka II Student Dormitory is how to design a dormitory that is comfortable for its residents and fulfilled its capacity to accommodate. The concept of approaching green architecture was chosen because it can increase comfort, this is in line with the function of the dormitory as a residence that is expected to give a comfortable impression to its residents. The dormitory certainly cannot be separated from the uniformity of the existing ULM building area, for that the Geometries of Connection method was chosen; namely as a connecting building / environment that will be designed with geometric patterns in this case such as buildings or access that already exist around the site, thus allowing the design of a new "place" that is distinctive but still contextual to its environment. The dormitory design is on an area of approximately 4000m2 has a built-up land area of approximately 1100m2 with a built floor of approximately 2600m2, with a capacity of 120 members with a total of 60 rooms, as well as spaces such as kitchens, dining rooms and other areas.

Abstract

Obesity and mental health disorders are closely related. Mental health disorders in obese people are usually caused by an unfavorable environment that causes obese people to often experience depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. By carrying out the concept of a healing environment , the Fitness and Health Center in Banjarbaru is an answer to the mental health issues experienced by the community. This area is an open space with several supporting facilities in the form of a gym center, health clinic, and healthy restaurant. The concept that is applied to the design uses 10 physical components of the environment as a reference in applying the concept of healing environment.

Abstract

MSMEs are one of the employment sectors that have become an important state asset with their potential as a high contributor to the country's GDP. However, in 2020, the contribution of MSMEs has decreased drastically to only 37% of each year which always contributes above 50%. This is due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore it’s necessary for an MSME development facility as an effort to prepare MSME actors in the future in terms of their education and creativity in entrepreneurship to be able to adapt in crisis situations. The approach used is Architectural Programming owned by Donna P. Duerk as a direct response in solving educational, creative, collaborative problems by implementing an exploration of the needs of its development facilities with the facility exploration process using the IP2K strategy as a method assessment parameter, until finally obtaining the concept of programming results. With this facility, it is hoped that MSMEs will become a source of economy that is not easily broken.

Abstract

Ornamental plants are plants that function as decorations in space, both outdoors and indoors. Collecting ornamental plants is very popular among housewives. Based on a survey conducted in Rantau City, the use of ornamental plants in houses in urban areas is very little compared to rural areas. This indicates that people in urban areas are less concerned about ornamental plants. To introduce ornamental plants more deeply to all circles, an ornamental plant center is made that can accommodate plants efficiently. The problem raised in the design of the ornamental plant center is how to design a building that can accommodate plants, attract public interest and accommodate activities related to ornamental plants. This problem is solved by using a building form in the form of a greenhouse to accommodate massive plants, and using the concept of green building to optimize the workability of the building and introduce ornamental plants to a wider community.

Abstract

In urban areas, getting information from existing technology is very easy to do. However, it is a little difficult to become dependent for early childhood children who are still not psychologically stable. History is also a part of the information that is easily available at this time. One of the famous historical figures from Banjarmasin is Prince Antasari. Prince Antasari is a National Hero of the kingdom of Banjar in his resistance to the Dutch troops. This makes the history of Prince Antasari need to be known by the people of Banjar itself, especially among children. One way of delivering this information without the need for digital technology is through Educational Parks. The approach that will be applied to the Educational Park is the Neo-Vernacular approach. This approach will find unique things that exist in the Banjar traditional building and apply it to the design of the “Prince Antasari Educational Park with a Neo-Vernacular Approach in Banjarmasin City”.
