Abstract

Group Decision Support System (GDSS) is a computer based systems that support groups of people involved in a common goal. Pneumonia is an infection of the alveoli and the end of bronkiol and that most diseases result in death for each year, lack of medical personnel at health centers compared with the population resulted in frequent delays service to the patient's pneumonia. This study focused on the development of group decision support system for diagnosis pneumonia in adult patients. The system is designed to help medical personnel in diagnosis pneumonia patients and reduce the level of delays in treatment for pneumonia patients and minimize the error giving antibiotics to pneumonia patients.Group Decision Support System was developed using a web based PHP programming language while to process the knowledge database using MySQL database, to give a decision table which is an association between symptoms and disorders, as well as giving preference value of the three experts, namely the pulmonary experts, internists experts and pharmacists use Triangular Fuzzy. In the aggregation stage of preferences used Fuzzy Linguistic quantifiers and phase perangkingan using AHP. The system was tested by entering the symptoms of pneumonia without the involvement of an expert. The results showed that the system could support to diagnosis pneumonia.

Abstract

Games are an application that is quite attractive because it can be used for refreshing. Maze game is an example of a simple game that aims to determine the appropriate steps to achieve its intended purpose. Maze created in coordinates (x, y), with the known facts are the coordinates of obstacles, and the coordinates of current location, its main task is to find a way out. In this discussion, maze solved using artificial intelligence modeling (forward reasoning).

Abstract

One of the problems now emerging and difficult to resolve related to the development of information systems in various institutions/agencies in Indonesia is the heterogeneity in the network, hardware, OS, programming language, developers, database, and the number of unique identification number that is used. E-KTP project that based on single identity number (SIN) are expected to be a significant improvement steps. Information system development of e-KTP equipped with a database that stores a database of population associated with the identity of every citizen aged over 17 years and/or married.Application of a distributed database on a database of population is an important and feasible given the centralized database has many shortcomings. This paper reveals an idea about the implementation scenarios citizen population distribution database that includes demographic scenario of a single national master database and centralized, population database development logic design, physical design database development on population, population distribution database, database replication and fragmentation, as well as the aspects of the DDBMS.

Abstract

Many foreign tourists coming to Bali did not know Balinese language so it was difficult for them to give massages to the Balinese people. One of the solutions to facilitate the tourists was by creating a translating system from English into Balinese language. This study designed the system used to translate texts from English into Balinese language using some input. This web-based designed system used PHP and MySQL as the programming languages. This system which was used to translate English texts into the Balinese ones was implemented using rule-based approach. It implemented four work modules such as scanner, parser, translator, and evaluator. The syntactical rules implemented in this system were context free grammar and MD-DM pattern. The syntactical rule was used to analyze the syntactical structure of input based on grammar. The pattern of MD-DM implemented on the translator’s module functioned to obtain the patterns of words which were available in the Balinese language. 6 experts with 100 sample data in the form of English texts in tourism showed that in general the translation equivalents produced by the system could be understood and that the results were good enough. This could be proved by the average score of precision obtained, that is, 89.3%.

Abstract

The required time to run a query on a database which possesses a large number of attributes and rows highly depends on the number of attributes accessed. An optimal query will only access necessary attributes. A vertical fragmentation of a table helps in isolating the frequently accessed attributes with those which are less frequently used.In this research, we develop an application to help the comparison of query execution time on a normal and vertically fragmented table. We use a Bond Energy algorithm to form the table’s vertical fragmentation. In this algorithm, the fragmentation process has to fulfill the completeness and disjointness conditions.We perform and test this application by using 40 queries from “Sistem Informasi Perencanaan Universitas Udayana”. Our test results show that a vertical fragmentation using Bond Energy algorithm increases the speed of query execution on the following: queries which access only several attributes from a table and queries with arithmetic operations such as sum or average. For insert and update queries, vertical fragmentation has no significant impact.

Abstract

Data can be classified into several clusters, better known as Data Clustering using several methods, one of which is referred to as K-Means method (KM). It is one of the popular data clustering method. Its implementation is simple and can cope with a great number of data and the process is relatively short. However, KM has several weaknesses; the clustering result is sensitive to the initialization of the cluster center and leads to optimal local. It is the betterment of KM method referred to as K-Harmonic Means (KHM). Although it can minimize in the initialization, it could not overcome the problem of optimal local yet.Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) is an ant algorithm used to form a colony. ACO could avoid the problem of local optimal and was proved to have global solution. In this study, an algorithm was applied to clusterizing the ACO and KHM-based data referred to as ACOKHM. The performance of ACOKHM was compared to the algorithms of ACO and KHM using five data sets. The ACOKHM algorithm was proved to have better performance than ACO and KHM, in which ACOKHM could maximize the cluster center which directs to optimal global.

Abstract

Keyblock is a generalization of the text-based information retrieval technology in the image domain. The main purpose of this framework is to find the codebook of a given size from a set of training image blocks. This main purpose can be achieved with any Vector quantization algorithm. This paper is an answer to the questions: “Can we use keyblock for piercing pattern?” Which one is the best algorithm between GLA or PNNA for VQ ?” The paper begins by describing some basic theory of Texture Feature, Keyblock-based, Vector quantization, Generalized Lloyd Algorithm (GLA) and Pairwise Nearest Neighbour Algorithm (PNNA). Next, it summarizes the implementation of both algorithm in keyblock framework for piercing pattern. Finally, it describes the experimental result of this research.
