Abstract

The purposes of this study is to describe and analyze the direct and indirect effect of brand experience on brand satisfaction, brand trust, and brand loyalty of consumers make-up brand cosmetics imports in Surabaya. This study uses questionnaires as the research instrument with 100 respondents as the sample. Sampling technique is convenience sampling. This study uses Partial Least Square (PLS)s to analyzed the data. The results shows that there is a significant direct effect on the brand experience on brand satisfaction, brand trust, and brand loyalty. The results also shows that there are significant indirect influence between brand experience on brand loyalty through brand trust and brand experience on brand trust through brand satisfaction. The other result shows that there is no significant relationship between brand satisfaction on brand loyalty and brand experience on brand loyalty through brand satisfaction. https://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v5i2.1355

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of compensation, leadership and organizational culture through work motivation on employee performance. This study uses a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to employees in the conventional banking environment in Bekasi. The research sample is determined by simple random sampling and the technique analysis is SEM analysis with AMOS ver. 21. This study shows positive and significant results partially from the effect of variable compensation, leadership, organizational culture and motivation on employee performance. On the other hand, the study also find that organizational culture has no effect on work motivation. Based on the results of this study conclude that all hypothesis are supported but one hypotheses that examine the influence of organizational culture has no effect on work motivation https://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v5i2.1570

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence the women empowerment of informal sector traders related to factors (capital, number of working hours, number of labor, business location, effort experience, and level of education) to increasing of household income. The population in this study were female workers in informal trading business (business stalls) in the Leces Probolinggo District with a sample of 100 respondents.The data analysis uses multiple linear regression. The result of the analysis proves that the factors (capital, number of working hours, number of labor, business location, business experience, education level) have significant influence to the increasing of household income as simultan. The number of working hours has the dominant effect in increasing their income. If they want to increase their income, they should increase the number of working hours. Abstract

A tourist area, especially nature tourism, can actually be innovated/added value without destroying the nature. The  one way is to pack it into an ecotourism area. Sempu Island which is located in Kabupaten Malang is one of the interesting example on how the ecotourism concept could be combined to the local economic development and conservation issues. The purpose of this research are : 1) identify local economic strengths that exist in the Ecotourism Area of Sendang Biru Beach, 2) strategy compile that can encourage the development of ecotourism potential in order to increase the number of tourists visiting on the  Sendang Biru Beach. This research uses qualitative approach. The type of data are primary  and secondary data. Method of data analysis uses a SWOT matrix analysis. The results of field research indicates that Sendang Biru Beach has the potential to become an ecotourism area. The strategy  to develop the area of ​​Sendang Biru Beach into an ecotourism             area  are ; 1) Equating perceptions of ecotourism among local communities, stakeholders and tourists, 2) Improving  and rearranging infrastructure in Sendang Biru Beach.  https://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v5i2.1635

Abstract

Impulsive buying tendencies can be found in shopping centers such as malls. The number of malls also cause consumer lifestyles  change. Impulsive behavior of puchases is influenced by product characteristics and store characteristics. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the characteristics of stores and products affect the consumer's impulse purchases at malls in Indonesia. This study examines as 435 respondents with descriptive quantitative approach. Questionnaires are disseminated by online system. Data analysis uses a multiple linear regression. Abstract

The aim of this research are to analyze  how human capital and marketing performance can be improved through social capital, both internally and externally Quota sampling method are used to seeing the responses of 140 Batik SME’s in Semarang related research quetions. This  research  used  Structural Equation Model (SEM) under Amos 22.0 program as analysis tools. This research indicated that 1) internal social capital positively effect on human capital, 2) external social capital positively effect on human capital, 3) external social capital has no effect on marketing performance, 4) internal social capital positively effect on marketing performance, and 5) human capital positively effect on marketing performance  https://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v5i2.1642

Abstract

This research examines whether marketing innovativeness (MI)  enhance marketing performance (MP) and tries to solve the problems of research gap between marketing innovativeness and marketing performance. The sample are SME’s Saroong Samarinda indutries in East Borneo, Indonesia. The total data that can be further analysed are 235 respondents. Data analysing uses Structural Equation Modelling. The result showes that : 1) small companies in these market segments based regiocentric is likely have better marketing performance when they have the iconiq isolating      advantages, 2) the marketing innovativeness has significant effect on iconiq isolating advantages, 3) iconiq isolating advantages  is a mediator in the correlation of marketing innovativeness and marketing performance   https://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v5i2.1740

Abstract

To increase state revenue and help SMEs in the calculation of the tax, the Government of Indonesia issued PP 46 2013. That regulation tax is for businesses with gross earnings in a tax year less than Rp. 4.8 billion. It will be charged by 1% tax rate on gross income. Tax will become a variable cost considered by the way it is calculated. Abstract

This research is an explanatory of causality in the public organization, aims to analyze the influence of leadership, organizational culture and employess performance to career development and to analyze the dominant influence among leadership, organizational culture and employess performance to career development. The population in this study are employees of government organizations. The sampling technique is a census where all the populations (62 employees) become sample. The results of this study shows that leadership, organizational culture, and employess performance significantly influence career development. Employess performance is the dominant variable affecting the career development of employees. The key of career development is the employess performance, therefore the organization should always improve the skills and knowledge of their employess through education and training, so that employees can  improve their performance from time to time.
