Abstract

Objective of the research was to examine empirically the influence of human resources empowerment, directly and indirectly, through organization resilience on an organization performance. Objectives of the research in detail were to analyze and examine empirically the influences of: human resources empowerment on organization performance, human resources empowerment on organization resilience, and organization resilience on organization performance. Population of the research was 69 star hotels, which spread over the East Java Province. 34 hotels were taken as samples. The respondents were 216 managers. Samples were taken using proportional sampling method and data analysis of the research used SEM (Structural Equation Model). The main finding of this research was that the organization performance would be enhanced if the human resources were empowered in participating to achieve the organization goal, commit to the organization, and have greater authority and responsibility in decision-making process. This influence will be stronger if it is followed by the organization capability to adapt to any change at the organization environment.

Abstract

Batik is one of the original types of Indonesian culture, even UNESCO has determined Batik as one of the world's cultural heritages. In its development came a variety of batik motifs including the ways or processes used in producing batik. Indonesia recognizes batik as a form of art work done by humans by giving certain patterns to plain cloth by waxing wax to block color, which is what is known as batik cloth. The making of written batik requires special expertise because the process must be carried out through certain stages. The quality of the finished batik cloth is very dependent on the skills of batik craftsmen to go through each stage of the batik process. Sengguruh Village, Malang Regency has a Batik Written UKM which has quite potential to develop its business. But the lack of the number of crafters possessed is an obstacle in producing written batik. Another obstacle experienced is the lack of understanding of written batik craftsmen to each stage of the process that must be passed. The results of the written batik SOP training provide new knowledge and provide deeper understanding to the batik crafters, so that when the batik process is passed well it will produce batik cloth which is also better in quality.

Abstract

Objective of the research is to find out the considered factor for market segmentation at the insurance company in Malang based on benefit and preference approaches. Data analysis used factor analysis in order to find out any considered factors in performing market segmentation based on benefit and preference approaches. Result of the research shows five dimensions or factor, which are considered in performing market segmentation based on benefit and preference approaches of the customers at the insurance company in Malang. Those factors are is as fellow experiences of the company, product utility, varieties of the product, services and income. Result implication of the research for the insurance company in Malang shows that the segmentation should be directed to customers who pay more attention an reliability of the company and customers who look for utility of the insurance product as well as customers who get wage from side jobs in addition to monthly pay.

Abstract

This research observes the consumer behavior toward the usage of GSM card for cellular phone on PT. Telkomsel. Objectives of the research are to find out the consumer interest in using the GSM card on PT. Telkomsel and to find out the proper strategy which will be applied by PT Telkomsel in order to expand its market. The Observation is conducted on three areas: condition of the GSM-premiere card user, satisfaction level of the consumer and loyalty level of the consumer to the company products. This research uses internal and external environmental analysis that applying PLC, SWOT, and BCG analysis techniques. The research recommends that the company should, first, consider the internal as well as external factors which influence the consumer behavior in using the products of PT. Telkomsel Malang. Second, the company should determine the variation strategy in order to achieve optimal level of the consumer satisfaction. Third, it should determine a generic strategy, expansion, in order to achieve a well-known company of GSM card in Malang.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of perceived ease of use on user’s intention to use mediated by perceived usefulness in the use of e-learning in university. This research is essential because it is important to know the user's desire to use e- learning with the Moodle application in universities, considering that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Indonesian government determined to apply online learning. There were 200 e-learning users from STIE Kesuma Negara Blitar selected as samples. The data were collected by using questionnaire and were then analyzed by multiple regression analysis and path analysis

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan aset penting bagi kemajuan sebuah bangsa, oleh karena itu setiap warga Negara harusdan wajib mengikuti jenjang pendidikan, baik jenjang pendidikan anak usia dini, pendidikan dasar, pendidikanmenengah maupun tinggi. Dalam bidang pendidikan pelayanan yang tepat, pemahaman mengenai karakteristikanak sesuai pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya akan sangat membantu dalam menyesuaikan proses belajarbagi anak dengan usia, kebutuhan, dan kondisi masing-masing, baik secara intelektual, emosional dan sosial. Pada saat usia antara 0-6 tahun, otak berkembang sangat cepat hingga 80 persen. Pada usia tersebut otakmenerima dan menyerap berbagai macam informasi, tidak melihat baik dan buruk. Itulah masa-masa yangdimana perkembangan fisik, mental maupun spiritual anak akan mulai terbentuk. Karena itu, banyak yangmenyebut masa tersebut sebagai masa-masa emas anak (Golden Age). oleh karena itu, kita sebagai orangtuahendaknya memanfaatkan masa emas anak untuk memberikan pendidikan karakter yang baik bagi anak.Sehingga anak bisa meraih keberhasilan dan kesuksesan dalam kehidupannya di masa mendatang.Untuk menunjang perkembangan anak usia dini tim bekerjasama dengan posdaya binaan LPPM UnmerMalang melakukan pengabdian untuk mencerdaskan anak usia dini serta membekali para pengelola PendidikanAnak Usia Dini dalam menghadapi berbagai permasalahan dalam mendidik anak usia dini dengan mengadakanseminar, serta beberapa kegiatan penunjang pembelajaran bagi anak usia dini dengan memberikan penyuluhan,lomba, serta pemberian tambahan gizi bagi anak usia dini. DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v2i1.1277

Abstract

The Objectives of this research are to examine and to provide empirical on about the influence of human resource empowerment, directly and indirectly, through organizational change as well as its ability in adapting to change. In details, the objectives of the research are as follow: (1) Human Resources Empowerment toward organizational change, (2) Human Resources Empowerment toward organizational resilience, (3) Human Resources Empowerment toward performance organization, (4) Organizational resilience toward organizational change, (5) Organizational resilience toward organization performance, and (6) Organizational change toward performance organization. The results of this research, is expected to be able to enrich the knowledge of management, especially on the development of human resource management and organization. Therefore, this study will hopefully be useful will be useful for both academicians and practitioners. The population of this research is 69 star hotels, in East Java and 34 hotels as the samples using proportional sampling method. The respondents of this research are 216 hotel managers. The main findings of this research showed that the performance the organization performance is improved when the human resource is empowered is participation to achieve goals, commitment, and greater authorities and responsibilities in decision making process. Abstract

The purpose of this study are : 1) to know and analyze the influence of communication, motivation, and team cooperation on employee performance. 2) to know and analyze the variable that has dominant influence to employee performance. The data obtained in this study is the primary data by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. Analyzed data uses multiple linear regression model.. The results of this study prove that, 1) communication has a positive and significant effect on the improvement of employee performance. 2) Motivation has a positive and significant effect to the improvement of employee performance. 3) Team cooperation doesn’t have a significant effect to the improvement of employee performance and 4) Communication has the dominant influence in improving employee performancehttps://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v5i1.1313

Abstract

This research is an explanatory of causality in the public organization, aims to analyze the influence of leadership, organizational culture and employess performance to career development and to analyze the dominant influence among leadership, organizational culture and employess performance to career development. The population in this study are employees of government organizations. The sampling technique is a census where all the populations (62 employees) become sample. The results of this study shows that leadership, organizational culture, and employess performance significantly influence career development. Employess performance is the dominant variable affecting the career development of employees. The key of career development is the employess performance, therefore the organization should always improve the skills and knowledge of their employess through education and training, so that employees can  improve their performance from time to time.
