Untirta Civic Education Journal (UCEJ) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes different kinds of scientific articles based on the research article, review article, and book review. All topics that we received were only articles relating to Social Science, Pancasila, Citizenship Education, Law, Morals, Sociology, and Public Policy. For the research category, articles can be written using quantitative and qualitative approaches and can be made in a variety of research designs, such as experiments, case studies, grounded theory, phenomenology, etc. This journal was published in 2016 in the print and online publication twice a year every April and December, and published by Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Abstract

This research was conducted in the Ciwaru Masjid neighborhood, Cipocok Jaya District, with the aim of 1) To find out the Efforts to Overcome the Impact of Tik Tok Social Media Use on Youth Morality in the Ciwaru Masjid neighborhood, Cipocok Jaya Village. 2) Knowing the Impact of Tik Tok Social Media on Youth Morality in the Ciwaru Mosque, Cipocok Jaya Village. The method used is a qualitative method with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The analysis used is by using triangulation with data reduction techniques, data display and data verification. The results obtained in this study are that the community and parents have made efforts to apply disciplined attitudes quite well by providing positive guidance attitudes to adolescents in playing social media, applying appropriate rules and sanctions for children, implementing coaching education in the use of social media. Tik Tok. While the impact that affects the inhibition of morality on adolescents in the use of Tik Tok. Children become individual or apathetic, narcissistic behavior that favors itself, reduced the value of mutual cooperation and is not sensitive to the community environment. Which is influenced by two factors, namely internal and external where the internal comes from within the child himself such as will, and habits. While external factors come from the learning environment, as well as the social environment.

Abstract

Civics is one of the subjects that is easily related to everyday life. PPKn is still a lesson that students consider boring, because in delivering the material the teacher only applies the lecture method without using other learning models. The aim of this research is to determine the application of the wordwall-based scrambling learning model in improving student learning outcomes in the PPKn class X Baghdad study area at SMA Plus Ass'Adah. This research uses a one group pretest posttest design, including qualitative research, with data collection techniques using observation guidelines and interview guidelines carried out using the data triangulation technique process. The subjects of this research are 23 students of Class X Baghdad. Based on the results of data analysis, it appears that there are results from the application of the wordwall-based scrambel learning model on the PPKn learning outcomes of class the average for class X Baghdad SMA Plus Ass'Adah students is 77.81%. From the research results it can be concluded that the application of the wordwall-based scrambling learning model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the Rista extracurricular program at MA Attaufiqiyah in fostering students' nationalism. Although focused on Islamic religious values, Rista also instills nationalism through activities such as national discussions, fundraising, and social service projects. These activities not only strengthen students' moral and spiritual foundation but also foster patriotism, unity, tolerance, and social responsibility. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that Rista effectively integrates nationalism with Islamic teachings, allowing students to understand and practice nationalism. The integration of Rista with Civic Education (PPKn) provides a holistic approach to shaping students' nationalist character by combining religious and national values. These findings emphasize the importance of educational strategies that merge religious and national values to shape a young generation that cherishes both their faith and their nation.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has currently changed the way citizens view interaction and participation in community life. Digital citizenship is one of the concepts that refers to the development of information and communication technology, encompassing various aspects of interaction, information acquisition, and the realization of human rights. In realizing the goals of digital citizenship, skills or competencies possessed by a citizen are certainly required. In this case, citizens not only develop individual character but are also able to act actively, productively, and responsibly in shaping digital interaction spaces as a manifestation of good digital citizens. The purpose of this research is to determine the extent of the influence of digital citizenship on citizens' skills in this era of globalization. This research method uses a quantitative method with a descriptive analysis approach where the research data is presented in the form of statistics, thus providing an explanation related to the findings of phenomena or problem formulation presented in this research. The results of this study describe that there is an influence of digital citizenship on citizen skills, as evidenced by hypothesis testing, and there are 4 (four) indicators in this study with a response rate percentage of respondents ≥ 60% (good or high).

Abstract

The purpose of the thesis titled "The Role of Role Play Method in PPKn Subject to Enhance Students' Creativity in Class XI IPS at SMAN 5 Kota Serang" is to determine how the role play learning method can improve students' creativity in the PPKn subject in Class XI IPS at SMAN 5 Kota Serang. The challenges identified include the students' weak creativity during classroom learning due to the application of less suitable teaching methods, as well as the efforts made to address these challenges during the learning process. Additionally, it discusses the impact of the inappropriate teaching methods used in the learning process and the lack of encouragement for creativity during classroom learning on the engagement of Class XI IPS students in the PPKn subject at SMAN 5 Kota Serang. The method in this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through document or text studies. Data collection techniques are carried out through stages of observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes, with analysis methods including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Based on the findings, the application of the role play method in the PPKn subject for XI IPS class at SMAN 5 Kota Serang is considered quite effective. This is because during the learning process, the students appeared more enthusiastic and they had the opportunity to actively engage in the ongoing learning. The role-playing method can contribute to the development of critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills in a creative way for students, all of which are essential components of PPKn (Civics Education).
