Abstract

One way to prevent the transmission and spread of Covid-19 is to always keep ourselves and our environment clean. Maintaining personal and environmental hygiene can be done by using antiseptics and disinfectants. Disinfectants that are not used properly will be bad for humans. That is why so far the spraying of disinfectants for the prevention of COVID-19 has been carried out by human workers who are dressed in complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) using manual sprayers. This is certainly very risky to humans who do the spraying manually. The objective of this research is to minimize the risk of spraying disinfectants, by using a robotic power to spray disinfectant based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and a camera. This robot is operated by using a smartphone while to determine the environmental conditions around it is used a camera. From the test results, it obtained data that the robot works well and is quite reliable due to the wider scope limit because it uses an IoT connection to communicate with smartphones. The results of camera readings on laptops are also quite clear, although the higher the resolution on the display, the lag time required to transfer images to the laptop affects.

Abstract

In the utilization of solar energy, the equipment used includes Photovoltaic Cells, solar charging controls, batteries, protection devices, and other measuring devices. This solar power generation system is the name of a system that can convert solar energy into electric power. This solar power plant used in buildings is referred to as the Solar Building System (SBS). To perfect this solar power generation system, it is necessary to manage the electric power protection system. The protection system in this solar power plant includes the use of Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB). This Miniature Circuit Breaker is a tool for overcurrent protection in alternating current systems and direct current systems. In order to obtain a good protection system for this solar power plant, a study was conducted on the use of a miniature circuit breaker that is effective for a certain type of current. The research method used is the use of alternating current and direct current miniature circuit breakers in alternating current circuits. Observations and recordings were carried out, so that the obtained results were quite significantly different in their use. From the results of the study, it was found that the Miniature alternating current circuit breaker has better characteristics in alternating current circuits, when compared to direct current miniature circuit breakers.

Abstract

This study aims to analysis peak load prediction of Indonesian national holidays for Jawa-Bali electricity system. Forecasting applied using the Fuzzy Logic System (FLS) method combined with the Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA). CSA is used to determine the optimal membership function in fuzzy logic. Cuckoo search algorithm has a very good performance in terms of optimization. This method is applied for short-term load estimates on holidays/special days on the Jawa-Bali electricity system, Indonesia. The study used data from daily peak loads during Indonesian national holidays in 2014 on the Jawa-Bali electricity system. The data analyzed is the daily peak load documentation data for 4 days before national holidays and during national holidays in 2014. Testing the simulation results, it was found that the Fuzzy Logic System - Cuckoo Search Algorithm (FLS-CSA) method gives good forecasting results, this is evidenced by using the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE). Forecasting results using the Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA) optimization method on fuzzy logic membership functions for peak loads on national holidays on the Java-Bali 500kV electrical system give satisfactory results with an average forecasting error of 1.511314562%.

Abstract

Power flow analysis in an electric power system is an analysis that reveals the performance of an electric power system and the flow of power (active and reactive) for certain conditions when the system is working. The analysis was carried out using the ETAP 16.00 software, the method used was the newton rapshon by taking a case study of normal conditions. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the power flow that occurs in each channel of the 150 kV system in the South Sulawesi system. The amount of active power (MW) that occurs during normal conditions based on the simulation is 1730.87 MW, where the active power is the largest, which is 171 MW from BUS15_TLASA to BUS13_SGMNSA. For the voltage data, there is a slight comparison of the voltage during the simulation compared to the PLN data.

Abstract

A good work environment will affect the level of productivity of workers in a company. The operation of the refrigeration machine in the cocoa powder grinding area is very important in production. The indicators for the operation of the cooling machine are dust density, ambient temperature and wind speed. With control on the indicator will increase efficiency. In this study, the indicator is controlled with a GP2Y1010AUF0F dust sensor, a DHT22 temperature sensor, a DS18B20 sensor, and a wind speed sensor as sensor inputs. Furthermore, the sensor will be processed by the Node M CU ESP826 module. System output will be displayed on LED and android. The results of this study indicate the accuracy of the dust sensor is 96.12%, the DHT22 temperature sensor is 99.80%, the DS18B20 temperature sensor is 99.57% and the speed sensor is 95.89%. In this prototype, we can monitor the temperature of the air velocity of dust particles in the engine and the temperature of the engine cooler together and closely monitored.

Abstract

Based on data published by the Ministry of Living Environment and Forestry in 2020, Indonesia produces at least 93,200 tons of waste per day in various types of composition or around 34 million tons of waste per year. From the collection of waste, it could be used as compost fertilizer which is taken from leaf waste. From these problems, a device was designed that could monitor the decomposition process of organic waste into compost fertilizer. This device is equipped with a temperature sensor, humidity sensor, sensor of soil pH, soil moisture sensor, and color sensor to monitor the composting fertilizer process. The device could also detect plant growth as an indication that the compost fertilizer made is in good condition. Our device was used on the Internet of Things (IoT) and the blynk application as a monitoring application. From the test results, the temperature sensor's accuracy is 98.2%, the humidity sensor is 96.1%, the soil pH sensor is 95.26%, the soil moisture sensor is 98.55%, and the color sensor successfully detects the results of plant growth well. The design of this device is expected to invite the public to be wiser in sorting waste and using it for the surrounding environment.
