Abstract

The aim of research determine difference between learning outcomes and student activity using learning model Picture and Picture assisted specimens on material Invertebrates. Research of design use one shoot case study. The sample was class X-1 and X-2 determined Total Sampling technique. The independent variable was learning model used Picture and Picture helped Invertebrates specimens, while dependent of variable was learning outcomes (LKS score and final exam score) and student activities. The activity student learning in classical style in class X-1 was 88% and X-2  was 86%. The cognitive learning outcomes students used  classical style in class X-1 was  93,78% and class X-2 was 88,8%. The outcomes data teacher performance in class X-1 and X-2 was very good, both classes indicated average grade of 15. The students response in class X-1 was 85.1% while in class X-2 was 93,8%. Teaching response toward method showed interest and agree using LKS models Picture and Picture helped Invertebrates specimens  appicated this study.The conclusions this study is application learning models Picture and Picture helped Invertebrates specimens method can increase activity students in classical style was 87% and student learning outcomes in classical style was 86.33% apply in senoir high school of Teuku Umar Semarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan spesimen pada materi invertebrata. Desain penelitian ini one shoot case study. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X-1 dan X-2 yang ditentukan dengan teknik total sampling. Variabel bebas berupa model pembelajaran Picture and Picture berbantuan spesimen Invertebrata, sedangkan variabel terikat berupa hasil belajar (nilai LKS dan nilai akhir) dan aktivitas siswa. Hasil belajar kognitif siswa secara klasikal kelas X-1 sebesar 93,78% dan kelas X-2 sebesar 88,88. Aktivitas siswa secara klasikal pada kelas X-1 sebesar 88% dan X-2 sebesar 86%.. Kinerja guru pada kelas X-1 dan X-2 sangat baik. Tanggapan siswa kelas X-1 sebesar 85,1% dan kelas X-2 sebesar 93,8%. Tanggapan guru menunjukkan bahwa guru tertarik dan setuju menggunakan media LKS dengan model Picture and Picture berbantuan spesimen Invertebrata yang diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture berbantuan spesimen pada materi Invertebrata dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa secara klasikal sebesar 87% dan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal sebesar 86,33% di SMA Teuku Umar Semarang.

Abstract

Purpose of this study was to develop portofolio assessment rubrics of studentscientific processes on ecosystems. This study was Research and Development, using One Shot Case Study experimental design for its field-testing. The samples of this study were 135 yunior secondary school students (class VIIA, VIIB, VIIC, and VIIG). Research steps were as follows: problems and potential identification, data collection, product design, validation, field-testing and final production. Data were collected from (1) eligibility of portfolio assessment rubric of student scientific processes on ecosystems, (2) final scores of portfolios, and (3) student and teacher responses. Data was analyzed by descriptive percentages. ANOVA was used to identify the different average of portfolio scores.  The results showed that portofolio assessment rubrics could be used to assess students scientific processes on ecosystem. The average assessment scores from experts to the portfolio assessment rubrics of students’ scientific processes on ecosystem were 99.07% (very appropriate). The average assessment scores of  portfolio class VIIC during field testing were 73,47. Average scores of portfolio was follows: 75,56 (VIIA), 76,17 (VIIB), and 76,51 (VIIG). ANOVA test showed the average assessment of portfolio was not significantly different from other three the groups. A portfolio assessment was reliable or rubrics could be used well.  Student and teacher responses to portofolio assessment rubrics of students’ scientific processes on ecosystems was very good. The conclusions of this study was that the develop portofolio assessment rubrics of students’ scientific processes on ecosystem was able to be used for SMPNegeri 1 Wedarijakasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan rubrik penilaian portofolio proses sains siswa materi ekosistem. Penelitian merupakan Research and Development, desain eksperiment menggunakan one shot case study. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIIA, VIIB, VIIC dan VIIG berjumlah 135 siswa. Langkah-langkah penelitian meliputi analisis potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, uji coba produk, uji coba pemakaian dan produk final. Data penelitian berupa kelayakan rubrik penilaian portofolio proses sains siswa materi ekosistem, nilai portofolio, tanggapan siswa dan guru. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif persentase. Ada atau tidaknya perbedaan rata-rata nilai portofolio diuji menggunakan ANAVA. Hasil penelitian berupa rubrik penilaian portofolio proses sains siswa materi ekosistem. Rubrik penilaian portofolio proses sains siswa materi ekosistem sangat layak, nilai rata-rata kelayakan 99,07%. Rata-rata nilai portofolio kelas VIIC pada uji coba awal 73,47. Rata-rata nilai portofolio kelas VIIA, VIIB, dan VIIG pada uji coba pemakaian adalah 75,56 ; 76,17 dan 76,51. Hasil uji ANAVA rata-rata nilai portofolio tidak berbeda secara nyata atau ajeg. Tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap rubrik penilaian portofolio proses sains sangat baik. Simpulan penelitian telah dihasilkan rubrik penilaian portofolio proses sains siswa yang layak dan baik digunakan pada materi ekosistem di SMPN 1 Wedarijaksa.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and assess feasibility of student worksheet on Growth and Development topics, based on multiple intelligences theory, as well as to measure the effectiveness of  the student worksheet. Research design used  was one of research and development modified from Sugiyono (2010), and was based on students’ intelligences identification and teaching materials analyzed. LKS validation results were analyzed with descriptive percentages. Small-scale testing was  carried out on 1 teacher and 12 students to assess worksheets legibility. Large-scale field-testing was carried out on one teacher and 36 students to measure student worksheets’ effectiveness. Results of student worksheet development based on multiple intelligences theory in terms of  its material feasibility aspects was  96,87% (obtained score) and media feasibility 89,56% under medium category. Normalized gain score was 0,65, indicating that  there was an increasing learning achievement  from pretest to posttest under medium category. Classical completeness of  students reached 88,89%. The use of  the student worksheet for  learning process was appreciated ‘ very good responses’ by  teachers and students, 100% and 88,69%. Student worksheet development  on the basis of multiple intelligence theories for  Growth and Development topics was  feasible and effectively applied for  learning. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis multiple intelligences pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan serta mengukur keefektifan LKS dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dimodifikasi dari Sugiyono (2010) berdasarkan hasil identifikasi kecerdasan siswa dan analisis kebutuhan bahan ajar. Hasil validasi LKS dianalisis dengan deskriptif persentase. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan terhadap 1 guru dan 12 siswa untuk menilai keterbacaan LKS. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan terhadap 1 guru dan 36 siswa untuk mengukur efektivitas LKS dalam pembelajaran. Hasil pengembangan LKS berbasis multiple intelligences aspek kelayakan materi memperoleh skor 96,87% dan kelayakan media 89,56% dengan kategori sangat layak. Nilai gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,65 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dari pretest ke posttest dengan kategori sedang. Ketuntasan klasikal siswa mencapai 88,89%. Penggunaan lembar kerja siswa dalam pembelajaran memperoleh tanggapan sangat baik dari guru dan siswa dengan persentase 100% dan 88,69%. Pengembangan lembar kerja siswa berbasis multiple intelligences pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Invitation into inquiry-based lab work is necessary to study its effectiveness on students critical thinking skills because similar studies have not been done primarily on the cell material. Learning begins by giving a problem to students who are prepared in the form of another question asked students to design practice. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of practice-based inquiry into invitation to high school students critical thinking skills N 1 Dukun on the cell material. This study was Quasi Experimental with Control Group Design Nonequivalent design is applied to the class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class and class XI IPA 3 as controls. Sampling was purposive sample was determined by the technique. N-gain test results show that the average N-gain critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class higher than the control class. In the experimental class average N-gain 0.46, while the control class is 0.32. The results of the t-test showed that the value of P = 0.485 for 2-tailed test, so it can be said that there is a difference in students critical thinking skills class experiments with the control class. Conclusions from this research is practice-based inquiry into the invitation-effective in improving students critical thinking skills. Praktikum berbasis invitation into inquiry perlu diteliti efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa karena belum pernah dilakukan penelitian sejenis terutama pada materi sel. Pembelajaran dimulai dengan memberikan suatu permasalahan kepada siswa yang disusun dalam bentuk pertanyaan selanjutnya siswa diajak untuk merancang praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas praktikum berbasis invitation into inquiry terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA N 1 Dukun pada materi sel. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design yang diterapkan pada kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sample. Hasil uji N-gain menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata N-gain kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol. Pada kelas ekperimen rata-rata N-gain 0,46 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol 0,32. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa nilai P = 0,485 untuk uji 2-sisi, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah praktikum berbasis invitation into inquiry efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

The study is aimed to analyze the development process and effectiveness of learning suplement base POGIL in circulation system material. This is a Research and Development (R&D) work. The developed learning suplemen consist of students worksheet and learning videos, completed by syllabus and lesson plan as implementation guides. Learning suplemen base POGIL races students to find the material concept ourselves. There are question in students worksheet that guides students find concept by explore pictures, explanations, and videos. POGIL base learning promote students to develop essential skill, it is skill that important to interact in class. The developing process has several steps, it is problem and potension analysis, date collecting, product design, design validation, 1st revision, applied test, 2nd revision, usage test, 3th revision until established  final product. Learning supplement judged by material expert and curriculum expert respectively with percentage 84,6% and 100% (very valid criteria). Learning supplement effective in used in learning process of Junior High School proved by student’s completeness is 88,7%; high-activities students is 98,15%; teacher opinion is very good (100%); and students opinion is very good (88,45%). Metacognition skill develop by student’s self assessment as indicator. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses pengembangan dan efektivitas suplemen pembelajaran berbasis Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) pada materi sistem peredaran darah tingkat SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Suplemen pembelajaran yang dikembangkan terdiri atas LDS dan video pembelajaran, dilengkapi silabus dan RPP sebagai panduan pelaksanaan. Suplemen pembelajaran berbasis POGIL memacu siswa menemukan konsep materi dengan kemampuan sendiri. Pembelajaran berbasis POGIL memacu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan esensial, yaitu kemampuan untuk berinteraksi dalam masyarakat kelas. Pengembangan suplemen pembelajaran dilakukan melalui tahap analisis potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, mendesain produk, validasi desain, revisi I, uji coba keterterapan, revisi II, uji coba pemakaian, revisi III, dan menghasilkan produk final. Validator ahli materi dan ahli kurikulum menilai suplemen pembelajaran sangat valid berturut-turut dengan persentase 84,6% dan 100%. Suplemen pembelajaran yang dikembangkan efektif diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di SMP. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan ketuntasan belajar siswa 88,7%; siswa yang beraktifitas tinggi 98,15%; tanggapan guru sangat baik (100%); dan tanggapan siswa sangat baik (88,45%). Kemampuan metakognisi berkembang dengan indikator siswa mampu melakukan kegiatan evaluasi diri..
