EFEKTIVITAS PEMANFAATAN MACROMEDIA FLASH DENGAN PENDEKATAN SAVI MATERI SISTEM GERAK DI SMAN 1 KAJEN

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of macromedia flash utilization with SAVI approaches to teach human movement system at SMAN 1 Kajen. The macromedia was not only used by the teachers for verbal communication but also for performing images, and  animation. SAVI approaches aimed to support the students’ learning because it combined the physical and intelectual activities. The research design was a one shot case study. The samples of the research consisted of two classes. The results of the research showed that > 75 % of the students could achieve the minimum standard of learning achievement (KKM) and  > 75% of the students were really active in their learning process, and both the students and their teachers gave the possitive responses. The conclusion was that macromedia flash with SAVI approaches were effective to be used for teaching the human movement system at SMAN 1 Kajen.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemanfaatan macromedia flash dengan pendekatan SAVI pada materi sistem gerak di SMA N I Kajen Pekalongan. Pemanfaatan macromedia flash, selain dapat melakukan komunikasi verbal, pada saat bersamaan guru mampu menyajikan teks, gambar, video, suara dan animasi. Pendekatan SAVI (somatic auditory visualization  intelectually) akan membantu siswa agar memperoleh hasil belajar yang optimal karena menggabungkan gerakan fisik dengan aktivitas intelektual. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian one shot case study. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 2 kelas. Data penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar dan  aktivitas siswa, tanggapan siswa dan guru. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa >75% siswa hasil belajarnya mencapai KKM dan >75% siswa sangat aktif dalam pembelajaran. Siswa dan guru memberikan tanggapan positif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan macromedia flash dengan pendekatan SAVI efektif diterapkan pada materi sistem gerak di SMA Negeri 1 Kajen Pekalongan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas soal ulangan biologi semester gasal kelas X di Petanahan, kabupaten Kebumen. Lokasi penelitian di SMA 1 Petanahan, MA Darussa’adah kritig dan MA Grogolpenatus tahun pelajaran 2010/2011. Data yang diambil adalah data kualitatif berupa hasil telaah soal berdasarkan kesesuaiannya dari segi materi, konstruksi dan bahasa. Data kuantitatif berupa validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, dan efektivitas distraktor . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara kualitatif 75% soal sudah dapat digunakan, <10% soal terbuang. Dari segi kuantitatif, soal SMA yang digunakan valid, memiliki reliabilitas tinggi, indeks kesukaran sedang, dan sebagian besar distraktor sudah berfungsi. Secara keseluruhan, untuk soal SMA 40% soal dapat dipakai, 42% soal masih perlu direvisi dan 18% soal dibuang, sedangkan untuk soal MA 40% soal perlu direvisi dan 60% soal tidak dapat digunakan/dibuang. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar soal masih memerlukan revisi.   The objective of this research was to describe the quality of the questions in biology summative test for X grade at Petanahan Subdistrict of Kebumen. The research was done at SMA 1 Petanahan, MA Darussa’adah kritig and MA Grogolpenatus in the academic year of 2011/2012. The data obtained for this study was qualitative assessment on the basis of compatibility of subject matters, test construction and linguistic aspect. The quantitative data included test validity, reliability, difficulty, distinction level, and also efectiveness of the distractor. The results showed that 75% questions have been reasy for use, and < 10% questions should be deleted. Based on the quantitative assessment, SMA item tests were valid, higly reliable, and of medium difficulty index, and the distractors were effective. In general, 40% items could be used for test banking, 42% of them needed to be revised, and 18% had to be dileted. For MA, there were 40% of items that needed to be revised and 60% of them had to be dileted. The conclution of this research was that the most of test items needed to be improved.

Abstract

This research was undertaken to improve the effectiveness of the biology learning process of the classification of plants by the use of Unnes biology garden for students of MTs. Al Asror. The method used was the pre experimental design with one-shot case study. Population was all class VII students at MTs. Al Asror Gunungpati Semarang, academic year 2011/2012. Samples were collected by random cluster sampling technique. The procedure included the preparation of the study (preliminary observations, the determination of the sample, making the learning devices, executed and analyzed field-testing results), and implementation (students were introduced with the classification of plant materials, the students were brought to the garden for observation and discussion, the students presented the results of the discussion, teachers conducted evaluation tests and analyze the test results). Data were obtained from the students worksheet, post test, the student activity sheet observations, observation sheets of teacher performance, as well as the questionnaire of students and teachers. Data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students during the learning process was 85% VIIA and 90% of students satisfied the minimum standard of learning achievement (KKM) VIIB ? 75. Based on the research results, it could be concluded that the results of students’ learning of the classification of plants by the use of the Unnes Biology Garden for MTs. Al Asror students were effectively characterized by the satisfaction of student learning outcomes ? 75. Students’ activity data also showed that learning could make students more active.  Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengefektifkan proses pembelajaran klasifikasi tumbuhan dengan memanfaatkan Kebun Wisata Pendidikan Unnes pada siswa MTs. Al Asror. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre experimental dengan desain one shot case study. Populasi diambil dari siswa kelas VII MTs. Al Asror Gunungpati Semarang tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Sampel diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Prosedur penelitian meliputi persiapan ( observasi awal, penentuan sampel, membuat perangkat pembelajaran, melaksanakan  dan menganalisis tes uji coba), dan pelaksanaan (siswa diberi materi klasifikasi tumbuhan, siswa dibawa ke kebun untuk pengamatan dan diskusi, siswa mempresentasikan hasil diskusi, guru mengadakan tes evaluasi dan menganalisa hasil tes). Data diperoleh dari Lembar Kerja Siswa, post test, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, lembar observasi kinerja guru, serta angket tanggapan siswa dan guru. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran adalah 85% siswa kelas VIIA dan 90% siswa kelas VIIB tuntas dengan KKM ? 75. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa  hasil belajar klasifikasi tumbuhan dengan memanfaatkan Kebun Wisata Pendidikan  pada siswa MTs. Al Asror efektif yang ditandai oleh ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa ?75. Data aktivitas siswa juga menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran tersebut dapat menjadikan siswa lebih aktif.
PEMBELAJARAN MATERI VIRUS MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA KARTU BERGAMBAR DI SMA NEGERI 2 WONOSOBO

Abstract

The aim of this research was to identify students’ activities and their learning achievements on  virus  by the use of pictorial card media at  SMA Negeri 2 Wonosobo. The research design used was an experiment. The samples of the study were two classes, taken by cluster random sampling technique, class X-1 as the experimental and class X-3 as the control class. The result  showed  that the average of students’ learning achievements of X-1 and X-3 classes were 75.98 and 61.93. The percentage of  learning activities, on experimental class, were categorized as active, 79.03%  on average. Meanwhile, in control class they were categorized as active enough, 63.75%.  It could be concluded that the use of pictorial card could improve students’ activity and learning achievement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran biologi materi virus menggunakan media kartu bergambar SMA Negeri 2 Wonosobo. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah desain eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian yaitu sebanyak 2 kelas diambil dengan cara cluster random sampling hasilnya diperoleh kelas X-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar pada kelas X-1 dan X-3 berturut-turut sebesar 75,98 dan 61,93.  Persentase rata-rata aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen termasuk dalam kriteria aktif yaitu 79,03% sedangkan pada kelas kontrol yang termasuk dalam kriteria cukup aktif yaitu 63,75%. Kesimpulan yang dapat diperoleh yaitu pembelajaran materi virus menggunakan media kartu bergambar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa.

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the book readability level, suitabality of  concept and pictoral appropriateness level according to  the Biology textbook of Cambell and friends, eighth edition, part 1 (2008) and its fith edition part 2 and 3, spelling accurateness and  readiness of  Erlangga Biology Books written by  Istamar Syamsuri and friends (2007) part 2 according to BSNP standard-based evaluation from teachers. This research was descriptive qualitative approaches  to assess  the quality of Biology books  for SMP students, Grade VIII  in Jepara.The research result showed that readability level of sample  was 8,57% , easy sample 8,57%,  difficult sample 64,29%, dan invalid sample 8,57% ; in term of suitability of concept it did nof find wrong concept from 231 concepts and inappropriate pictures 11,50% from 113 pictures ; spellibility or error typing, misuse of capital letter, and mis use of punctuation mark were respectively: 6,5 and 1; and advisibility of the book  according to BSNP  was  high  based on the instrumen stage I and instrument stage II as much as 86,2% under thcriteria very suitable.In sum, Erlangga biology books by  Istamar Syamsuri, and friends(2007)part 2 were not fully readable for grade VIII SMP students. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterbacaan, tingkat kesesuaian konsep dan gambar dengan  buku teks  biologi edisi kedelapan jilid 1 (2008) dan edisi kelima jilid 2 dan 3(2004) karangan Campbell, dkk, tingkat kesalahejaan, dan tingkat kelayakan buku pelajaran IPA Biologi menurut standar BSNP berdasarkan penilaian dari guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengkaji kualitas buku IPA Biologi SMP kelas VIII yang banyak digunakan di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Jepara yaitu buku karangan Istamar Syamsuri, dkkjilid 2(2007) penerbit Erlangga.Hasil penelitian menunjukan untuk tingkat keterbacaansampel sesuai 18,57%, sampel mudah 8,57%,  sampel sulit 64,29%, dan sampel invalid 8,57% ; untuk tingkat kesalahan konsep tidak ditemukan kesalahan konsepdari 231 konsepdan memiliki kesalahan gambar 11,50% dari 113 gambar ; untuk kesalahejaan memiliki 6 kesalahan ketikan, 5kesalahan penggunaan huruf kapital, dan 1kesalahan penulisan tanda baca; dan untuk tingkat kelayakan bukumenurut standar BSNPmemenuhi standar kelayakan pada Instrumen tahap I dan tahap II sebanyak 86,2% dengan kriteria sangat sesuai.Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalahBuku pelajaran  IPA BIologi terbitan Erlangga karangan Istamar Syamsuri, dkk tahun terbit 2007 jilid 2 belum sepenuhnya sesuai untuk siswa kelas VIII pada tingkat keterbacaan.
EFEKTIVITAS KOOPERATIF TWO STAY-TWO STRAY TERHADAP AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract

This research aimed  to identify the effectiveness of using”two stay two stray” cooperative learning models towards students’ activities and learning achievements in classification of living things subject matter. The study was held at MTs state of Sulang, 7thgrade semester in 2011/2012.The design of research was pre-experiment  with One Shoot Case Study. Samples were the class VII2, VII3 and VII4 who were collected by purposive sampling technique. The variable were ”two stay two stray” cooperative learning models, students’ activities and learning achievements in classification of living things matter. Obtained data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative methods. The results showed that the percentage of students who were active and very active in the class from all three class up to 86.67%. Completeness of students’ learning achievement was 93,33%.The conclusion from this research was that the learning of Living Things Classification using “two stay two straý” cooperative learning model was effective to improve the activity and students’ learning achievements at MTs state of Sulang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif two stay two stray terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas VII semester gasal MTs Negeri Sulang tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah pre-experimental design dengan desain One Shoot Case Study. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VII2, VII3 dan VII4 dengan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif two stay two stray, aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase siswa yang aktif dan sangat aktif secara klasikal pada ketiga kelas mencapai 86,67%. Ketuntasan hasil belajar  siswa mencapai 93,33%. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara diskriptif kuantitatif.  Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif two stay two stray efektif terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa klasifikasi makhluk hidup di MTs  Negeri Sulang. 
PEMANFAATAN KEBUN SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR DENGAN MENERAPKAN PENDEKATAN JELAJAH ALAM SEKITAR (JAS)

Abstract

This purpose of this research was to identify the students’ activities and their learning achievements on the classification of living organism materials by using the Unnes’educational tourism garden as learning resources, integrated in  the JAS  (environmental exploration) approaches for SMP Teuku Umar Semarang students. This research design was  one shot case study. Sample of this research were class VII.1 and VII.3 students  collected by purposive sampling technique. The collecting data methods were questionnaires, documentation, observation sheets and tests. The data were quantitatively measured and descriptively  analyzed. The results showed that 74%-100% of students in three learning activities were classified as active and very active, and 77% of student achieved  optimal student learning outputs (the learning achievement ? 80). Based on the results of research and its discussion it was concluded that Unnes’ educational tourism garden  could be used for a learning resource on the classification of living organism material, integrated in JAS approach  and for optimizing  learning activities and achievements of  SMP Teuku Umar Semarang students. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup dengan memanfaatkan kebun wisata pendidikan sebagai sumber belajar dengan menerapkan pendekatan jelajah alam sekitar di SMP Teuku Umar Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain the one shot case study. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VII.1 dan VII.3, pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode angket, dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes. Data-data tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 74%-100%  aktivitas belajar siswa tergolong dalam kriteria aktif dan sangat aktif pada tiga kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan, dan 77% siswa hasil belajarnya optimal (nilai hasil belajar ?80). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan kebun wisata pendidikan Unnes sebagai sumber belajar materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup dengan pendekatan jelajah alam sekitar yang diterapkan dapat mengoptimalkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa SMP Teuku Umar.
PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF JIGSAW BERBANTUAN SLIDE PRESENTATION MATERI JARINGAN HEWAN

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the influence of type of Jigsaw cooperative learning model-assisted slide presentation on the learning achievements of  structure and function of animal tissues in MA Nadlatul Ulama Demak. This study was a research experiment one-shot Case Study. Sample of this study was the class XI and XI IPA IPA 1 2, determined by random sampling techniques. The success indicator of this study was at least 75% of students indicated  scored ? 70 learning achievement. The results of this study showed  the completeness results of studying in class XI IPA 1 was 80% of students and for  class XI IPA 2 was 83.33% of the students. Based on these results it was  concluded that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model-assisted slide presentation of learning could be effectively applied to the materials structure and function of animal tissues at  MA Nahdlatul Ulama Demak. The suggestions  was made for teachers to apply the Jigsaw cooperative learning model assisted by slide presentation in delivering learning material structure and function of animal tissues. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti efektivitas pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan media slide presentation terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran struktur dan fungsi jaringan hewan di MA Nahdlatul Ulama Demak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimen yang dilaksanakan dengan metode The one-shot Case Study. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2 yang diambil dengan teknik random sampling dari tiga kelas yang ada. Keberhasilan dari penelitian ini adalah sekurang-kurangnya 75% siswa memperoleh nilai hasil belajar ? 70. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketuntasan hasil belajar di kelas XI IPA 1 sebesar 80% siswa dan di kelas XI IPA 2 sebesar 83,33%  siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan slide presentation efektif diterapkan pada pembelajaran materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan hewan di MA Nahdlatul Ulama Demak. Saran yang diajukan agar guru menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan slide presentation dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan hewan.
PENGARUH PENERAPAN STRATEGI DIVERGENT THINKING TERHADAP KREATIVITAS SISWA

Abstract

The aim of this research was to examined the effect of the divergent thinking learning strategy on student’s creativity of environmental pollution and waste recycling at SMA N 1 Ambarawa. This research was a quasi experimental design with pre-test and post-test control group design which was applied on X-3 as control group and X-5 as experimental group. Sample was collected by a cluster random sampling. Data of the implementation of divergent thinking strategy, the creativity process, and student’s activity were collected by observation. Test was used to collect data of student’s creativity. T-test of student’s creativity enhancement also indicated a significant difference. Regression test showed the number of sig. 0,007<0,05 with ? = 3,512 + 0,064X and 0,219 for determination coefficient. The inference of this research was the divergent thinking strategy had a possitive effect on student’s creativity, so the student’s creativity of experimental group was better than the control one. The usage of divergent thinking brought an effect on student’s creativity (21,9%). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pembelajaran yang diselenggarakan dengan menerapkan strategi divergent thinking terhadap kreativitas siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan dan daur ulang limbah di SMA N 1 Ambarawa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimental design dengan pola pre-test and post-test control group design dan diterapkan pada kelas X3 sebagai kelas kontrol dan X5 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel secara cluster random sampling. Data pelaksanaan strategi divergent thinking oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran, proses kreatif, dan aktivitas siswa diperoleh melalui observasi. Tes digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kreativitas siswa. Hasil uji t post-test menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata dari kedua kelompok. Hasil yang signifikan juga ditunjukkan dalam uji t peningkatan kreativitas siswa. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan angka sig. 0,007<0,05 dengan persamaan regresi ? = 3,512 + 0,064X dan koefisien determinasi dengan harga 0,219. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa strategi divergent thinking berpengaruh positif terhadap kreativitas siswa, sehingga kreativitas siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Penggunaan strategi divegent thinking memberikan pengaruh sebesar 21,9% terhadap kreativitas siswa.

Abstract

This research aimed to indentify the effect of the implementation of Inquiry-based Outdoor Learning on students’ learning achievement in Ecosystem at SMP N 2 Selopampang. This study was a Quasi Experimental Design with Pre and Post-test which was applied on the VII A class as a control group and VII B as an experimental group. Sample was collected by a convenience sample technique. Questionaire was used to collect data of inquiry based activity of students in Outdoor Learning. Tests were used to collect data of students’ cognitive learning achievement. Observation sheets were used to record student’s psychomotoric learning achievement, and physchology scale was used to measure students’ affective learning achievement. Data were analysed by quantitative methods. Data were analyzed by t-test and simple linear regression. T-test result showed that there were a significant difference between both groups (tcount > ttable). Linear regression indicated that inquiry based Outdoor Learning brought a significant effect on students’ learning achievement (sig. value <0.05). The conclusion of this research was that implementation of Inquiry-based Outdoor Learning approach had a significant effect on students’ learning achievement.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Outdoor Learning berbasis inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi ekosistem di SMP N 2 Selopampang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan pola Pre and Post-test Design yang diterapkan pada kelas VII A sebagai kelas kelompok kontrol dan VII B sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Data aktivitas inkuiri siswa dalam Outdoor Learning dikumpulkan dengan angket yang diisi oleh siswa. Data hasil belajar dalam ranah kognitif siswa dikumpulkan dari tes materi ekosistem, data hasil belajar dalam ranah psikomotorik diperoleh melalui lembar observasi,  data hasil belajar dalam ranah afektif tentang peduli lingkungan dikumpulkan dengan skala psikologi siswa. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Data dianalisis dengan uji t dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil uji t menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata dari kedua kelompok (thitung>ttabel). Hasil uji regresi linier sederhana mengindikasikan bahwa Outdoor Learning berbasis inkuiri berpengaruh secara nyata pada hasil belajar siswa (nilai sig.<0.05). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan Outdoor Learning berbasis inkuiri berpengaruh  signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.
