Abstract

  Abstract This study aimed to develop a valid Environmental Pollution comics used as a student learning source of class VII SMP. This is a research and development study. The trial use of the product using a pretest-posttest design is applied to the class VII-6 SMPN1 Wonopringgo. Samples were taken by a random sampling technique. The results obtained comics Environmental Pollution products that is developed and validated by an media and materials expert with very valid criteria (92.5% and 91.6%), validation of the product on the student as user comics obtain very valid criteria with the results a valid media (85.5%) and a very valid material (90%). Improved learning outcomes calculated using the N-Gain test with an average value of 0.62 gain in the category medium. Gain values ​​were showed no significant difference between the study results before and after learning activities. Increased environmental awareness is calculated using character N-Gain test average value gain of 0.41 in the category medium. Gain values ​​were showed no significant difference in the character of the neighborhood before the matter after learning activities. The results of the classical calculation of each indicator show the same criteria that is good, but there is an increase in the percentage of after use comics.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk komik yang valid digunakan sebagai sumber belajar materi pencemaran lingkungan, menguji efektivitas komik terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, serta menganalisis efektifitas komik terhadap pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian Research and Development. Uji coba dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Wonopringgo pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Uji coba produk menggunakan 10 siswa kelas VIII-2 SMPN 1 Wonopringgo dengan teknik penyampelan purposive sampling. Uji coba pemakaian menggunakan siswa kelas VII-6 desain pretest-postest gorupmenggunakan teknik penyampelan random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan produk yang dikembangkan dari segi media dan segi materi mendapatkan penilaian sangat valid (92,5% dan 91,6%). Uji coba produk mendapatkan penilaian kelayakan media valid (85,5%) dan kelayakan materi sangat valid (90%). Peningkatan hasil belajar dihitung menggunakan uji  N-Gain dengan nilai rata-rata gain 0,62 masuk kriteria sedang. Kriteria gain sedang menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami perubahan ke arah positif. Peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan dihitung menggunakan uji N-Gain dengan nilai rata-rata gain 0,41 masuk kriteria sedang. Kriteria gain sedang menunjukkan bahwa karakter peduli lingkungan siswa mengalami perubahan ke arah positif. Penghitungan klasikal karakter peduli lingkungan tiap indikator sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran menunjukkan hasil yang sama yaitu kriteria baik, namun terdapat peningkatan persentase 2-8% setelah kegiatan pembelajaran dibandingkan sebelum pembelajaran menggunakan komik. Komik pencemaran lingkungan yang dikembangkan sudah mendapatkan penilaian sangat valid oleh ahli media dan materi namun nilai gain rata-rata yang masuk kriteria sedang menunjukkan komik belum cukup efektif memberikan perubahan hasil belajar dan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa kelas VII pada materi pencemaran lingkungan..

Abstract

  Abstract ___________________________________________________________________The aims of this research are to develop student worksheet based on Search, Solve, Create, and Share model and to measure the effectiveness of student worksheet for the student learning achievement, thinking skills, activities, and scientific attitude of Molluscs and Arthropods concept. Based on initial observation, known that needs to develop LKS which has never been used in the learning of Molluscs and Arthropods. This is an R&D research with pretest-posttest comparison group design. Large-scale field-testing in this research was class X.IPA.1, X.IPA.3, dan X.IPA.7 in Senior High School 1 of Tegal. Result of student worksheet development in terms of its material feasibility aspect was 75,75% and media feasibility 83,9%. Normalized gain score was 0,62, indicating that there was an increasing learning achievement from pretest to posttest under medium category. The average classical completeness of students reached 82,96%. The average percentage classical of students for the thinking skills, activities, and scientific attitude of student are 77,7%; 77,04%, and 77,76%. It was concluded that student worksheet on the basis of Search, Solve, Create, and Share model was feasible and effectively applied for learning of Molluscs and Arthropods concept.  Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS berbasis Search, Solve, Create, and Share dan mengukur keefektivan LKS terhadap hasil belajar, keterampilan berpikir, aktivitas, sikap ilmiah dalam pembelajaran Mollusca dan Arthropoda. Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui bahwa perlu dikembangkan LKS yang belum pernah digunakan dalam pembelajaran Mollusca dan Arthropoda. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development dengan desain pretest-posttest comparison group. Uji skala besar dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas X.IPA.1, X.IPA.3, dan X.IPA.7 di SMA Negeri 1 Tegal. Hasil pengembangan LKS, aspek kelayakan materi memperoleh skor 75,75% dan kelayakan media 83,9%. Nilai gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,62 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dari pretest ke posttest dengan kategori sedang. Rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal siswa mencapai 82,96%. Rata-rata persentase klasikal keterampilan berpikir; aktivitas; dan sikap ilmiah siswa berturut-turut yaitu 77,7%; 77,04%, dan 77,76%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut disimpulkan bahwa LKS berbasis Search, Solve, Create, and Share layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Mollusca dan Arthropoda.

Abstract__________________________________________________________________________Nature of school Ar-Ridho Semarang is a school that has been professionally managed vision caring environment. character education. The concept of learning in the School of Natural-based natural environment, so the environment is the key to successful learning. Therefore, the value of environmental care is one of the main characters that must be instilled and developed in the school of nature as a special character school. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the investment value of environmental care on the biology of learning as well as the development matter environment value beyond learning biological in SMP Alam Ar-Ridho. The research method used is a qualitative study of naturalistic descriptive exploratory method. Based on the results of the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the cultivation and development of environmentally conscious character in SMP Alam Ar-Ridho implemented through structured activities outside lessons. Planting and caring character development environment made ​​regarding the establishment of the mindset of students through environmental education integrated in regular school activities. Planting and development of caring character environment with the formation mindset shown to form student of SMP Alam Ar-Ridho  religious character, independent, responsible, and creative. Abstrak ____________________________________________________________________________ Sekolah alam Ar-Ridho Semarang merupakan sekolah yang telah dikelola secara profesional memiliki visi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan. Konsep pembelajaran di Sekolah Alam berbasis lingkungan alam sekitar,  sehingga lingkungan adalah kunci dari keberhasilan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, nilai peduli lingkungan merupakan salah satu karakter pokok yang harus ditanamkan dan dikembangkan di sekolah alam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana penanaman karakter peduli lingkungan pada pembelajaran biologi serta pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan di luar pembelajaran biologi di SMP Alam Ar-Ridho. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kualitatif naturalistik menggunakan metode deskriptif eksploratif. Berdasarkan hasil analisi data dan pembahasan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penanaman dan pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan di SMP Alam Ar-Ridho dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan-kegiatan terstruktur di luar pembelajaran. Penanaman dan pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan dilakukan dengan membentukan mindset siswa melalui pendidikan lingkungan hidup yang terintegrasi pada kegiatan rutin sekolah. Penanaman dan pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan dengan pembentukan mindset terbukti dapat membentuk siswa SMP Alam Ar-Ridho yang berkarakter religius, mandiri, bertanggung jawab, dan kreatif.

Abstract

  Abstract _________________________________________________________________ Development of interactive multimedia-based character education is an effort to support character education in schools. This research aims to develop interactive multimedia-based character education on the reproductive system chapter. This design of research is Research and Development (R&D) with steps that adopted from Dick&Carey approach model. Product trials conducted to student in four class of  SMA N 1 Sragen, SMA N 2 Sragen and MA N 1 Magelang. Assessment results by media experts were showed 93.18% and 91.67% by matter experts showed that it is very worthy as well as it gets positive feedback from the students on the test product. Teacher’s responses showed 91.68% of 100% students gave good evaluation. The student assessments on the trial product has  reached classical completeness of 87.50%, 83.33% and 82.61% for each class with KKM ≥ 80. Students indicated good character evaluation by the percentage of 100% and 98.82% for each character studied. The conclusions of this research were (1) there has been no teaching materials that integrate character education and has interactivity, (2) the development of an interactive multimedia approach adopted the Dick & Carey model, (3) interactive multimedia are feasible and effective to be used in learning of reproductive system.  Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis pendidikan karakter merupakan upaya untuk mendukung pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berbasis pendidikan karakter materi sistem reproduksi serta menguji kelayakan dan keefektifan produk yang dikembangkan. Desain penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan langkah-langkah diadopsi dari model pendekatan Dick & Carey. Uji coba produk dan pemakaian dilakukan pada 4 kelas di SMA N 1 Sragen, SMA N 2 Sragen dan MA N 1 Magelang. Hasil penilaian oleh ahli media menunjukkan persentase sebesar 93,18%, ahli materi sebesar 91,67% yang tergolong sangat layak serta tanggapan positif dari siswa pada uji coba produk. Tanggapan guru pada uji coba pemakaian mendapatkan persentase sebesar 91,68% dan siswa sebesar 100% yang tergolong sangat baik. Hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh pada uji coba pemakaian mencapai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 87,50%, 83,33% dan 82,61% untuk masing-masing kelas dengan KKM ≥ 80. Siswa menunjukkan penilaian karakter yang baik dengan persentase 100% dan 98,82% untuk masing-masing karakter yang diteliti. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) belum terdapat bahan ajar yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dan mempunyai interaktivitas, (2) pengembangan multimedia interaktif diadopsi berdasarkan model pendekatan Dick & Carey, (3) multimedia interaktif layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran materi sistem reproduksi.
PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN DENGAN PRAKTIKUM PEMBUATAN KOMPOS TERHADAP KARAKTER DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract

  Abstract _________________________________________________________________ The aim of this study is to analyze application learning with compost processing practical in environmental management subject to increase environmental careness characters and learning outcomes of seventh grade student in Junior High School 1 Ungaran.This study is a Pre Experimental Design. The study design uses the one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study is every seventh grade students of Junior High School 1 Ungaran. The sample is students of class VII D and VII H.The results show that after learning 90% students have achieved very good and good criteria or increase 34% than before (56%). Learning outcomes of all students is completed with classical completeness 100%. t value in the t test is 8.597 in  VII D and 8.054 in VII H whereas for the t table is 1.69. This result show that t count > t table so learning effect to learning outcome. The analysis shows 94.44% of students in class VII D and 86.11% of students in class VII H give very good response about the learning. All science teachers in the both class give a positive response,  that the learning has been running very well. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of learning with composting processing practical affect in increasing the environmental careness characters and student learning outcomes in environmental management subject.  Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pembelajaran dengan praktikum pembuatan kompos dalam meningkatkan karakter peduli lingkungan dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre Experimental Design. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pola one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran, sedangkan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas VII D dan VII H. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 90% siswa memiliki karakter peduli lingkungan pada kriteria sangat baik dan baik atau naik 34% dari sebelumnya 56%. Hasil belajar semua siswa tuntas dengan ketuntasan klasikal 100%. Hasil uji t dari nilai pretest dan nilai posttest, didapatkan t hitung pada kelas VII D adalah 8,597 dan di kelas VII H adalah 8,054 sedangkan untuk t tabel adalah 1,69. Maka t hitung > t tabel maka ada pengaruh dari pembelajaran. Tanggapan siswa menunjukkan 94,44% siswa di Kelas VII D dan 86,11% di kelas VII H menyatakan pembelajaran sangat baik.   Semua guru IPA di kedua kelas memberi tanggapan positif dan menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan praktikum pembuatan kompos berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran.

Abstract

AbstractBased on the preliminary observation, it was known that teachers have not used inquiry based learning of Digestive System concept worksheet and student’s critical thinking skills were low. The aims of this research were to determine the feasibility of the student worksheet in the identification digestive process of ruminant. Also, it was to measure the effectiveness of student worksheet for the student learning achievement. The critical thinking skills of Digestive System concept was measured as well. The study was a R&D research, product development trials was an experiment method with one-shot case study design. Large-scale field-testing in this research was class XI IPA1 and XI IPA2 in Islamic Senior High School Ta’alumul Huda Bumiayu. Result of student worksheet development in terms of its linguistic aspect, presentation aspect, and contens aspect was very feasible criteria and display aspect was feasible criteria. The average classical completeness of students class XI IPA1 reached 83.75% and class XI IPA2 was 90.9%. The average percentage classical for the critical thinking skills of students class XI IPA1 and XI IPA 2 were very high criteria. It was concluded that student worksheet practical identification digestive process of ruminant animal based guided inquiry was feasible and effectively applied for learning of Digestive System concept.Abstrak Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui bahwa guru belum pernah menggunakan LKS berbasis inkuiri dalam pembelajaran sistem pencernaan makanan, sehingga keterampilan berpikir siswa masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitas LKS praktikum identifikasi proses pencernaan hewan ruminansia berbasis guided inquiry dan mengukur keefektivan LKS terhadap hasil belajar kognitif serta keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran sistem pencernaan makanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development, uji coba produk pengembangan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one-shot case study. Uji skala luas dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA1 dan XI IPA 2 di SMA Islam Ta’alumul Huda Bumiayu. Hasil pengembangan LKS, aspek kebahasaan memperoleh kriteria sangat layak, aspek  penyajian memperoleh kriteria sangat layak, aspek kegrafikan memperoleh kriteria layak, dan aspek isi memperoleh kriteria sangat layak. Rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal siswa kelas XI IPA 1 mencapai 83,75% dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebesar 90,9%. Rata-rata keterampilan berpikir siswa secara klasikal kelas XI IPA 1 dan  XI IPA 2 mencapai kriteria sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut disimpulkan bahwa LKS berbasis praktikum identifikasi proses pencernaan hewan ruminansia berbasis guided inquiry layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran sistem pencernaan makanan.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________The aim of the study was to examine the effect of practicum to student’s learning outcomes in the study material of fungi on SMA Negeri 1 Pejagoan. This study was Quasi Experimental Design. The study design used a pattern of pre-test post-test nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study was an entire class of SMA Negeri 1 Pejagoan, while the sample in this study was X3 (as an experimental class) and X4 (as a control class). The level of adherence to practicum to student’s learning outcomes score indicated a score of 72 % of student in the category good. Based on the results of research and discussion concluded that the practicum can affect to student’s learning outcomes in the study material of fungi.Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh praktikum jamur terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi Jamur kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Pejagoan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain quasi experimental dengan menggunakan bentuk desain pretest posttest nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pejagoan sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X3 (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas X4 (kelas kontrol). Tingkat keterlaksanaan praktikum terhadap skor hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan skor keterampilan proses sains siswa sebesar 72 % dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa praktikum dapat mempengaruhi skor hasil belajar siswa pada materi jamur.

Abstract

 Abstract _________________________________________________________________This study aimed to observe, analyze needs, develop, and test the feasibility, legibility, and the effectiveness of teaching materials based environmental pollution in sewage treatment MTs Sabilul Ulum Mayong Jepara. This study wasa research and development (R & D). Data feasibility of teaching materials drawn from the assessment of the validity of the experts, to test the readability of data taken from student responses after administration of teaching materials. The effectiveness of teaching materials was tested through experiments with research design Control Group Pre-test Post-test to see its effect on student learning outcomes in the study sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The validity of the assessment results based teaching materials waste treatment by media experts 78.8% with decent criteria and 94.6% of matter experts with very decent criteria. The trial results legibility teaching materials received responses of students with a mean score of  92% and both teachers and students are very interested in the sewage treatment based teaching materials. Results of testing the use of teaching materials showed that the averag epost-test value of the experimental class 75.53 and control class 69.93. Based on the results of t-test experimental class and control class showstcount price of 4,103> ttabel price for df = 78 with a 1% significance level of 2,38. Based on the results of the study concluded that there is a very significant difference between the average value of the end of the experimental class with the control class. The results indicated that sewage treatment based teaching materials was effective for student learning outcomes.Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, serta menguji kelayakan, keterbacaan, dan efektivitas bahan ajar pencemaran lingkungan  berbasis pengolahan limbah di MTs Sabilul Ulum Mayong Jepara. Penelitian ini merupakan research and development (R & D). Data kelayakan bahan ajar diambil dari penilaian validitas para pakar, untuk data uji coba keterbacaan diambil dari tanggapan siswa setelah diberikan materi bahan ajar.  Keefektifan bahan ajar diuji melalui eksperimen dengan rancangan   penelitian Control Group Pre-test Post-test untuk melihat pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar siswa Sampel pada penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil  penilaian validitas bahan ajar berbasis pengolahan limbah oleh pakar media 78,8%  dengan kriteria layak dan pakar materi 94,6% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil uji coba keterbacaan bahan ajar mendapat tanggapan siswa dengan rerata skor 92% dan  baik guru maupun siswa sangat tertarik terhadap bahan ajar berbasis pengolahan limbah. Hasil uji coba pemakaian bahan ajar  menunjukkan bahwa rerata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen 75.53  dan kelas kontrol 68,93. Berdasarkan hasil uji t kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan harga thitung sebesar 4,103 > harga ttabel untuk dk = 78 dengan taraf signifikansi 1% sebesar 2,38. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian  disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang sangat signifikan antara rata-rata nilai akhir kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Hal ini menunjukkan  bahan ajar pencemaran lingkungan  berbasis pengolahan limbah efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa.  
PENGARUH STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN JIGSAW DAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP SKOR KETERAMPILAN METAKOGNITIF SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN BIOLOGI

Abstract

AbstractThe purposes of this study were to analyze the difference of student’s metacognitive skill score between PBL class and Jigsaw class, analyze the difference of student’s learning outcomes between PBL class and Jigsaw class,  and analyze the relationship between metacognitive skill score and learning outcomes. This was an experimental research. The population was 156 students in grade XI Science in State Senior High School 1 Pecangaan, Jepara academic year 2013/2014. Cluster random sampling technique was used and result two groups, namely PBL group  and Jigsaw group . The PBL group  was subjected to Problem Based Learning model, and the Jigsaw group was subjected to Jigsaw model. After learning, metacognitive skill score and learning outcomes of cognitive test performed in both groups PBL and Jigsaw to collect the data. The results showed that there was no differences average of metacognitive skill score between students in PBL class and Jigsaw class, there was differences of learning outcomes between students in PBL class and Jigsaw class, PBL class showed a higher learning outcomes significantly than Jigsaw class, there was a possitive strong relationship between metacognitive skill score and learning outcomes, and the percentage of students who reach the mastery learning in group subjected Problem Based Learning more than or equal to 75%, whereas in group subjected Jigsaw less than 75%. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan keterampilan metakognitif antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, untuk menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, dan menganalisis hubungan antara keterampilan metakognitif dengan hasil belajar kognitif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi siswa kelas XI IPA SMA N 1 Pecangaan, Jepara tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik cluster random sampling terpilih dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kelas PBL dan kelompok kelas Jigsaw. Kelompok PBL dikenai pembelajaran model Problem Based Learning dan kelompok Jigsaw dikenai model pembelajaran model Jigsaw. Setelah dilakukan pembelajaran pada kedua kelompok dilakukan pengumpulan data dengan tes lembar inventori kesadaran metakognitif dan tes hasil belajar kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor keterampilan metakognitif siswa antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, kelas PBL menunjukkan hasil belajar kognitif yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibanding kelas Jigsaw, adanya hubungan positif yang kuat antara skor keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitif, dan persentase siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar pada kelompok yang menggunakan pembelajaran PBL lebih dari atau sama dengan 75%, sedangkan kelompok yang menggunakan pembelajaran Jigsaw kurang dari 75%.

Abstract

Abstract Environmental pollution module PAIKEM oriented by using batik waste, is a learning material that integrated to Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Fun to assessing pollution batik waste as a source of learning. The goal of this study was to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the environmental pollution module PAIKEM oriented using batik waste as a source of learning for high school biology students. Based on preliminary observations result, it was needed to develop a module that uses batik waste as a source of environmental pollution study for biological stydy material. This research was a research and development that use a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was X1-4 graders which specialized in Mathematics and Natural Sciences on Pekalongan State 2 High School, and the sample was X1 (as experimental class) and X2 (as control class). T test results showed that the average difference value of the pretest and posttest experimental class were greater than the control. Student activity in experimental class was qualified into high and very high categories (> 80%). Students and teachers had given the good responses to the module environmental pollution PAIKEM oriented using batik waste. Students creatively designing batik solid waste into works of interest. It can be concluded that the module environmental pollution PAIKEM oriented using batik was feasible and effective to be used in the enviromental pollutant studies. Abstrak Modul pencemaran lingkungan berorientasi PAIKEM menggunakan limbah batik merupakan bahan ajar yang mengintegrasikan Pembelajaran Aktif, Inovatif, Kreatif, Efektif, dan Menyenangkan dalam mengkaji pencemaran limbah batik sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektivan modul pencemaran lingkungan berorientasi PAIKEM menggunakan limbah batik sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMA. Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui bahwa perlu dikembangkan modul yang mengkaji pencemaran limbah batik sebagai sumber belajar biologi materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development dengan menggunakan pretestposttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X1-4 peminatan Matematika Ilmu Alam SMA N 2 Pekalongan, dan sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas X1 (eksperimen) dan siswa kelas X2 (kontrol). Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata selisih nilai posttestpretest kelass eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa modul berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pembelajaran. Aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen masuk dalam kriteria tinggi dan sangat tinggi (>80%). Siswa dan guru memberikan tanggapan yang baik terhadap modul pencemaran lingkungan berorientasi PAIKEM menggunakan limbah batik. Siswa kreatif mendesain limbah padat batik menjadi karya-karya yang menarik.
