Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana LKS yang digunakan di sekolah, mengapa perlu dikembangkan LKS TINDAK, bagaimana cara pengembangan LKS TINDAK, dan keefektivannya dalam pembelajaran biologi materi ekosistem di SMP. Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui bahwa perlu dikembangkan LKS TINDAK sebagai media pembeajaran biologi materi ekosistem. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development dengan menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A-E SMP Negeri 4 Boyolali, dan sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VII D (eksperimen) dan siswa kelas VII E (kontrol). Hasil dari uji t menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata selisih nilai posttest-pretest kelas eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol. Aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen masuk ke dalam kriteria aktif dan sangat aktif (>80%). Siswa dan guru memberikan tanggapan yang baik terhadap LKS TINDAK. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS TINDAK yang dikembangkan efektif diterapkan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran biologi materi ekosistem.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________The aims of this research are to find out the current status of Student Worksheet (LKS) usage in the schools, why LKS TINDAK needs to be developed, how to develop LKS TINDAK, and the effectiveness of the LKS in biology learning, especially in the topic of ecosystem in Junior High Schools. Based on initial observation, it seems that a better LKS, i.e. LKS TINDAK is required as biology learning media in the topic of ecosystem. This is an R&D research with pretest-posttest control group design. Population in this research was class VII A-E students in Junior High School 4 of Boyolali, and sample were students of class VII D (experimental group) and students of class VII E (control group). Results of t-test showed that the mean difference of posttest-pretest in the experimental class was higher than that of control class. Students in the experiment class were active and very active (>80%). The students and the teacher responded very well with LKS TINDAK. It was concluded that LKS TINDAK which was developed was effective to be applied as biology learning media in the topic of ecosystem.

Abstract

AbstractPurpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Creative Problem Solving in the respiratory system of learning material in SMAN 1 Jatibarang Brebes.The study was conducted with one- shot case study design. The study population was all students of class XI of SMAN 1 Jatibarang Brebes school year 2013/2014. The sample was 2 class, XI Science 1 and XI Science 2. Procedure research: preparation, execution, data collection , and data analysis. Method of data collection: observation sheets, final test, the results of discussions and questionnaires.Methods of data analysis: descriptive quantitative and qualitative.The results of the study were taken in the form of activities and student learning outcomes. Proven by the achievement of mastery learning which amounted to 93.94 % and student activity is high and very high with a percentage of 80.02 %. Based on the results of the study concluded that learning by using the Creative Problem Solving model of learning material in the respiratory system SMAN 1 Jatibarang Brebes can be applied because it proved effective .  Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan model Creative Problem Solving dalam pembelajaran materi sistem pernapasan di SMAN 1 Jatibarang Brebes. Penelitian dilakukan dengan desain one shot case study. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Jatibarang Brebes tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 2 kelas dari 3 kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2. Prosedur penelitian: persiapan, pelaksanaan, pengambilan data, dan analisis data. Cara pengambilan data: lembar observasi, tes akhir, hasil diskusi dan angket. Metode analisis data: deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diambil berupa aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Pencapaian ketuntasan belajar sebesar 93,94% dan aktivitas siswa yang tergolong tinggi dan sangat tinggi dengan persentase sebesar  80,02%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving pada materi sistem pernapasan di SMAN 1 Jatibarang Brebes dapat diterapkan karena terbukti efektif.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________This research has aim to develop and know the effectiveness of student worksheet based on science process skill of carbon dioxide experiment of respiration system. The research was done in the Biology Department FMIPA Semarang State University and SMA N 1 Pati using research planning Research and Development (R&D). Sample of the experiment product use was taken by cluster random sampling method with research design posttest-only control design. The evaluation result of the expert toward student worksheet skill of carbon dioxide respiration system show that student worksheet of the development research is appropriate to be used in learning process with percentage 76.33%. The result of the experiment use show that learning result in the experiment class was proven real higher than control class and the average science process skill of experiment class was really high with the percentage 93%. Based on the research, development of student worksheet in skill of carbon dioxide experiment science process of respiration system is proper to be used in learning process     Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui efektifitas LKS keterampilan proses sains uji karbon dioksida materi sistem pernapasan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Semarang dan SMA N 1 Pati dengan rancangan penelitian Research and Developmen (R&D). Sampel uji coba pemakaian produk diambil dengan metode cluster random sampling dengan desain penelitian posttest-only control design. Hasil penilaian ahli terhadap LKS keterampilan proses sains uji karbon dioksida materi sistem pernapasan menunjukkan bahwa LKS hasil pengembangan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan persentase kelayakan 76,33%. Hasil uji coba pemakaian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kelas eksperimen terbukti nyata lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol dan rata-rata keterampilan proses sains kelas eksperimen tergolong sangat tinggi dengan persentase 93%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pengembangan LKS keterampilan proses sains uji karbon dioksida materi sistem pernapasan yang efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________________________ Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan media bagan elektrik Rumigetric dalam pembelajaran sub materi sistem pencernaan hewan ruminanisa. Keefektifan dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa yang menunjukkan pemahaman siswa serta motivasi belajar siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah empat kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Purbalingga tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Pemilihan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling, diperoleh kelas XI IPA 3 dan XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah One Shoot Case Study. Data hasil belajar siswa diperoleh dari hasil diskusi dan tes evaluasi, sedangkan motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh dari angket motivasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal kelas XI IPA 3 mencapai 96,30% dan kelas XI IPA 4 100%. Motivasi belajar kelas XI IPA 3 adalah 83,15% dan kelas XI IPA 4 87,90%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media bagan elektrik Rumigetric efektif dalam pembelajaran sub materi sistem pencernaan hewan ruminansia.Abstract The goal of this study is to know the effectiveness of Rumigetric electric chart media in ruminant digestive system learning. The effectiveness can known from learning achievement that showed the student comprehension, and student learning motivation. The population in this study are four of XI IPA classes in SMA Negeri 2 Purbalingga 2013/2014 academic year. The sample are chosen by purposive sampling technique, they are XI IPA 3 and XI IPA 4 as experimant classes. the experiment design that used is One Shoot Case Study. Student learning outcome data was obtained from discussion and evaluation test result, whereas the student learning motivation was obtained from motivation quetioner. Analysis of the data used description qualiattive. The result of this study is showed that student learning outcome classically of XI IPA 3 is 96,30% and XI IPA 4 is 100%. Student learning moivation of XI IPA 3 is 83,15% and kelas XI IPA 4 is 87,90%. According to the data analysis and the dicussion, we can conclude that Rumigetric electric chart media is effective to use in ruminant digestive system learning

Abstract

Abstract Learning strategy which emphasizes on activities students will results optimal learning. Based on firstly observations in SMA N 3 Pekalongan, learning interactions in the classroom less favorable. It needs a learning strategy that can generate activity and student learning outcomes. Application of Discovery Learning learning strategies paired with a media card is expected to help students in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of learning strategies Discovery Learning on the activity and student learning outcomes in the digestive system material. This research is a pre Experimental Design, using a pretest-posttest pattern of one group design, without using a control class. Sampling was done by purposive sampling techniques, taken two of the four classes, XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 4. Activity value obtained through observation while teaching and learning results obtained through an increase in the value of learning outcomes pretest-posttest (N-Gain). The results showed that the application of learning strategies Discovery Learning with media affect the activity of matching cards and student learning outcomes.   Abstrak Strategi pembelajaran yang menekankan pada aktivitas siswa akan memperoleh hasil belajar yang optimal. Berdasarkan observasi awal yang dilakukan di SMA N 3 Pekalongan, interaksi pembelajaran dalam kelas relatif belum optimal. Perlu adanya strategi pembelajaran yang dapat membangkitkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penerapan strategi pembelajaran Discovery Learning disertai media kartu berpasangan diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan strategi pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre Experimental Design, menggunakan pola Pretest-posttest one group design, tanpa menggunakan kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purpossive Sampling, dari empat kelas diambil dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 4. Nilai aktivitas diperoleh melalui observasi saat pembelajaran dan hasil belajar diperoleh melalui nilai peningkatan hasil belajar pretest-posttest (N-Gain). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran Discovery Learning disertai media kartu berpasangan berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Abstract ______________________________________________________________________________ The aim of this study is to describe the effectiveness of teaching materials dealing with ecosystem by using the Vee Heuristik with SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Revise). This study is a form of quasi experimental with nonequivalen control group design. Sample of this study is chosen based on teacher’s recommendation. The collected data in this study are in the form of students’ activities  taken by using observation. The result of the study is taken by using test. Teacher’s activities are taken through observation. Students’ opinions are collected through questionnaire and the teacher’s opinions are collected through interview. The result of the study shows that the experimental class belongs to active class. Whereas the control class belongs to active class and medium active class. The average of N-gain of the experimental class and the control class is concluded into medium criteria. The mean of N-gain of experimental class is  0,51 which is higher than controll class having the average of N-Gain 0,36. The result of t-test shows that the learning result of experimental class is difficult as the control class .Based on the study, it can be concluded that ecosystem learning used the Vee Heuristic with SQ3R effective in State Junior High School 2 Batang.Abstrak __________________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan penerapan pembelajaran materi ekosistem mengggunakan Heuristik Vee dengan SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite and Review). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental dengan nonequivalen control group design. Sampel penelitian ini diambil berdasarkan rekomendasi dari guru. Data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini berupa data aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran yang diambil dengan metode observasi, hasil belajar diambil dengan metode tes, kinerja guru dengan observasi, tanggapan siswa dengan angket dan tanggapan guru dengan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas kelas eksperimen dalam kriteria aktif sedangkan kelas kontrol termasuk dalam kriteria aktif dan cukup aktif. Rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen dan kontrol menunjukkan kriteria sedang. Rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen 0,51 lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol 0,36. Hasil uji t menunjukkan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran materi ekosistem menggunakan Heuristik Vee dengan SQ3R efektif diterapkan di SMP Negeri 2 Batang.

Abstract _________________________________________________________________ The aim of the research was to develop, to test the validity and effectiveness, and analyze the application media in the form of  woody puzzle. The design of this research was research and development (R&D). Woody puzzle media was validated by material and media experts. The effectiveness of product was tested using motivation, activity and student learning outcomes whereas the aplication was tested using teacher and students response. The result of the research  showed that woody puzzle media was valid, effective and can be applicated. The application of woody puzzle media increased the motivation, activity, students learning outcomes and can be applicated.Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji kevalidan dan keefektifan serta menganalisis keterterapan media pembelajaran berbentuk “woody puzzle”. Penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D). Woody puzzle divalidasi oleh validator materi dan media. Keefektifan ditentukan berdasarkan motivasi, aktivitas, dan hasil belajar siswa sedangkan keterterapan ditentukan berdasarkan respon guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media woody puzzle yang dikembangkan sangat valid, efektif dan dapat diterapkan. Penerapan media woody puzzle dapat meningkatkan motivasi, aktivitas dan hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media woody puzzle layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 2 Kendal kelas XI.

Abstract

Abstract _________________________________________________________________ The aim of the research was to analyze the effect of the application of Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) with bioedutainment strategy based on activity and learning outcomes of students in class X of MAN Kendal. Sample was collected by a purposive sampling technique with two experimental classes, namely class X 4 and X 6, whereas X 5 as control class. This study was a Quasi Experimental Design with Non-Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Components of learning model that reflects the Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) with bioedutainment strategy that used in this research was time token, outdoor learning, and gallery walk. Data were analyzed quantitatively. Tests using the t test showed the difference in the value of pretest-posttest experimental class is larger than the control class. The results of tests n-gain analysis of student learning outcomes obtained experimental class higher than the control class. Learning is effective because the classical >75% of students achieving KKM, student activity> 75% and questionnaire responses of students >75% said that learning are fun and not boring.  Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) berbasis bioedutainment terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN Kendal. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Pengujian menggunakan uji t menunjukkan selisih nilai pretest-posttest kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis uji n-gain hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Pembelajaran dikatakan efektif karena secara klasikal >75% siswa mencapai KKM, aktivitas siswa >75% dan angket tanggapan siswa >75% menyatakan pembelajaran menyenangkan dan tidak membosankan.
HUBUNGAN ANTARA EMOTIONAL QUOTIENT (EQ) DENGAN TIGA DOMAIN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI PENGELOLAAN LINGKUNGAN

Abstract

 Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Pada proses pembelajaran di sekolah masih ditemui siswa yang tidak dapat meraih hasil belajar yang setara dengan kemampuan inteligensinya. Ada sekitar 20% siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan inteligensi tinggi tetapi memperoleh hasil belajar yang relatif rendah, serta ada pula siswa yang walaupun kemampuan inteligensinya relatif rendah namun dapat mengelola emosi dan berkomunikasi dengan baik sehingga dapat meraih hasil belajar yang relatif tinggi. Oleh sebab itu, dalam proses belajar siswa keseimbangan antara kecerdasan inteligensi, emosional dan spiritual sangat diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara Emotional Quotient(EQ) dengan hasil belajar siswa domain kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor pada materi pengelolaan lingkungan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 29 Semarang dan sampel yang digunakan adalah 71 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik proporsional random sampling. Data diambil dengan instrumen angket kuesioner, tes dan praktikum untuk kemudian dianalisis dengan uji korelasi. Hasil dari uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara Emotional Quotient(EQ) dengan hasil belajar siswa domain kognitif yaitu dengan koefisien korelasi 0,336,  hasil belajar siswa domain afektif dengan koefisien korelasi 0,556 serta hasil belajar psikomotor dengan koefisien korelasi 0,381 sehingga menunjukkan ada hubungan antara Emotional Quotient (EQ) dengan tiga domain hasil belajar siswa pada materi pengelolaan lingkungan. Hal ini berarti bahwa semakin tinggiEmotional Quotient (EQ), maka akan semakin baik pula hasil belajar kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor siswa pada materi pengelolaan lingkungan.  Abstract _________________________________________________________________ Process of teaching and learning in schools still found students who can not achieve the learning outcomes equivalent with intelligence capabilities. There are 20% students who have high intelligence capability but gain relatively low learning outcomes, also there are students who despite his intelligence capability is relatively low but can manage emotions and communicate well so can achieve a relatively high learning outcomes. Therefore, in the students learning process the balance between intellect intelligence, emotional and spiritual indispensable. The aim of the study is to determine whether there is a relationship between Emotional Quotient (EQ​​) with the student learning outcomes domains of cognitive, affective and psychomotor on material environmental management. This study is a correlation study. The population in this study is VII grader student of 29 Junior High Shool in Semarang and the sample used is 71 students were taken to the proportional random sampling technique. Data taken with a questionnaire instrument, tests and experiment for later analysis with correlation. The results of correlation test showed that there is a relationship between Emotional Quotient (EQ​​) with student learning outcomes, namely cognitive domains with a correlation coefficient 0.336, the affective domain of student learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient of 0.556 and also psychomotor learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient of 0.381 indicating have relationship between Emotional Quotient ( EQ) with three domains of student learning outcomes in environmental management material. This means that the higher Emotional Quotient (EQ​​), the learning outcomes of cognitive, affective and psychomotor on material environmental management will be better.

  Abstract This research aims to determine the feasibility and the effectiveness of Fenotif Module of the imune system. This research was called a Research and Development (R & D). The result of developing modul fenotif was validated by matter expert and media expert Semarang State University Department of Biology and biology teacher in SMA N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen. Small-scale trials carried out in SMA N 1 Jakenan, Pati, who involved by 10 students, the data was retrieved from the students response to readability Fenotif Module. Large-scale trials conducted in SMA N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen with 25 samples of students. Sample of the experiment product was taken by saturation sampling technique methods. The data was taken in a large-scale trials was the result of learning as well as the students and teachers responses. The design was a pre-experimental design with one group pretest posttest. Fenotif Module is feasible if it meets very well criteria based on the results of expert assessment and it was called effective if the learning outcomes of the students was increased to medium-high criteria in appropriate with the calculation of N-gain and the average of the students responses get very well criteria after large-scale trials. The results of this research indicated that Fenotif Module is apropriate to be used as teaching materials with percentage 95% of material and 96% of media. This module is also effectively used to achieve the acquisition of N-gain moderate to high category. The Students and the teachers responses is very well  Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitas modul “fenotif” yang dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran biologi materi sistem pertahanan tubuh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Modul Fenotif hasil pengembangan divalidasi oleh pakar materi dan pakar media Jurusan Biologi Universitas Negeri Semarang serta guru biologi di SMA N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen. Uji skala kecil dilaksanakan di SMA N 1 Jakenan, Pati dengan melibatkan 10 peserta didik, data yang diambil adalah tanggapan peserta didik terhadap keterbacaan Modul Fenotif. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan di SMA N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen dengan sampel 25 peserta didik. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Data yang diambil dalam uji coba skala besar adalah hasil belajar serta tanggapan peserta didik dan guru.  Desain yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental designdengan bentuk one group pretest posttest. Modul Fenotif dikatakan layak apabila memenuhi kriteria sangat baik berdasarkan hasil penilaian pakar dan dikatakan efektif apabila hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dengan kriteria sedang sampai tinggi sesuai dengan perhitungan N-gain serta rata-rata tanggapan peserta didik setelah uji coba skala besar mencapai kriteria sangat baik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Modul Fenotif dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dengan persentase kelayakan materi sebesar 95% dan persentase kelayakan media sebesar 96%. Modul ini juga efektif digunakan dengan perolehan N-gain mencapai kategori sedang sampai tinggi. Tanggapan peserta didik dan guru sangat baik.Â
