Abstract

Abstract Quality Control Analysis on Frozen Pelagic Fish Processing PT Perikanan Nusantara (Persero) Branch Benoa Bali PT Perikanan Nusantara (Persero) Branch Benoa Bali since 1972, has implemented a quality control. But in reality, there is pelagic fish damage in 2014 with a percentage of 2.74%. The aim of this research are determining the implementation of quality control at frozen pelagic fish processing and quality control systems using statistical quality control approach with controlling map and quality cost.Results of this research is the implementation of quality control in processing frozen pelagic fish viewed from good manufacturing practices meets the standards of the company, it is evidenced by the statement of the customer. When monitoring using the map control, quality control that occurs has not been implemented properly, because of a lot of damaged fish are out of the control limits. Quality control using quality cost that implemented by the company is still loose, because the real quality cost incurred for quality control cost are  48,801,869 IDR, quality assurance fee of 441,122,00 IDR, and the total cost for the quality of 489,923,869 IDR with the level of damage 40,102 kg, it is greater than the should quality cost with 146,727,587 IDR for quality control cost, quality assurance fee of 147,718,000 IDR, and the total cost for the quality level  is 293,445,587 IDR with level of damage 13,338 kg. Thus, companies need to increase intensively on ship handling and processing as well as quality control. Keywords: frozen pelagic fish, quality control, statistical quality control

Abstract

Abstract Marketing Mix Scrub in UD. Sekar Jagat Denpasar Scrub is a type of traditional cosmetics are made from materials crumb fruits and spices that are beneficial to maintain the beauty and smoothness. The materials that can be used as a scrub is yam, avocado, papaya, turmeric, cloves, sandalwood, cocoa, coffee, tea leaves, carrots, fruits and other spices. One company that manufactures scrub is UD. Sekar Jagat.Study aims to determine the marketing mix at UD. Sekar Jagat which includes product, price, distribution, promotion and as well know the constraints faced by the company in implementing the marketing mix. Marketing mix variables include herbal products yam, strawberries, avocado, sandalwood, tea leaves, carrot, coffee, milk, chocolate, carrot, coconut oil, cream, papaya and coconut honey. Setting the selling price based on the retail price and wholesale price. Distribution of products using two channels namely producers to consumers and producers to small traders to consumers. There are two media promotion at Sekar Jagat product that is a direct product promotion and sales. Constraints faced by UD. Sekar Jagat is the price of raw materials depends on the nature and the harvest, the constraints on the distribution of transport media and promotional constraints no promtion online. Advice can be given that farmers collectors add to inventories of raw materials, distribution expanded into tourism sites such as souvenirs Bali. Abstract

Abstract Paddy is a crop that produce rice and it is staple for most of Indoensian. Drying is important  post-harvest handling for  paddy. Husk can be done into two ways that are mhacinery drying and sun drying. This study aims to find out how is business technique of process of hulling rice by using unshusked rice dryer with fuel of husk and how is feasibility viewed from other investment criteria. This study was conducted at UD Sari Uma Bali that it is a company have business on rice mill used machinery husk fuel dryer. The result showed that  process of hulling rice by using husk fuel dryer is technically feasible and it is able to be operated during rainy day. Financially this business is feasible conducted with result of Payback period 4,23 year, Net Preset Value  have positive value of Rp 1.360.930.972,00 bigger than zero, and Internal rate of Return (IRR) bigger than real rate of interest at market 30,03% per year, Benefit Cost Ratio of 2,32 (bigger than one). Thus business of process of hulling rice by using husk fuel dryer  by UD Sari Uma Bali is feasible. From the result of sensitivity analysis has been conducted show that usage of paddy drying machine have fuel of husk is benefit business and reliable and have fulfilff criteria of investment though experience increasing of production cost.. Abstract

Abstract Management Quality Control Product on UD Kangen Water in Kelurahan Lukluk, Kecamatan Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung Supervision and quality control is an important factor for a company to maintain consistency of product quality, because quality is a priority for business activities. It is necessary to control the management and quality control for all production processes. The purpose of this study was to know how the process, quality control management system and quality control costs. The study was conducted on drinking water products Kangen Water. Data used in the study are data on the number of production, the amount of product damage, and control costs in the period January to December 2014. The results showed system management are in a state of control because the the value of the proportion of disability is between the upper limit and a lower limit, which shows the value of control limit ( ) = 2,9%, the upper control limit (UCL) = 4,3%, lower control limits (LCL) = 1,4%. The costs for quality control shows the magnitude of Quality Control Costs (QCC) is Rp 161.373.033,7, Quaity Assurance Costs (QAC) is Rp 8.900.000,00, and Total Quality Costs (TQC) is Rp 170.273.033,7. So the company able to suppress the number of product damage amounting to 445 bottles, or 2,9 % of total production. The optimum value (q*) is 1.894,8. Abstract

Abstract Bankruptcy Level of Altman and Foster’s Model Analysis in Plantation Companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange The purpose of bankruptcy level using Altman and Foster’s model analysis at plantation companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange is to anticipate and to predict how bankruptcy may occur in a plantation company. The object of this research is the financial reportsofall 16plantation companies that are registered in the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2013 - 2014. Data were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange’s website. The result of Altman model in 2013 showed that four companies were categorized to “bankruptcy” level and the same result occurred using the Foster model. The result of Altman model in 2014 showed that eight companies were included into “no bankruptcy’ level meanwhile the Foster model indicated 12 companies.The result of Altman model for financial reports 2013-2014 indicated that four companies were included into “prone to bankrupt” level while there are no companies in this category for the Foster model. However, the results of t-test showed that there isno significant difference of bancruptcy level either using Altman and Foster model. Keywords : bankruptcy analysis, Z-score Altman, Z-score Foster
