Abstract

Autistic child is an individual from birth to age 8, children who have autistic disorder have problems in communicating, interacting with the environment, and the attitudes and behavior of the strange and often repeated. In general, these disorders will be visible when the 3-year-old child. For it is very important that autistic disorder is eliminated through therapy, one of the therapies for autistic children that is at institution islamic boarding school Al-Achsaniyyah which is a place-based therapy of religion for children and adults who have special needs such as autistic disorder, cerebral palsy , motor disorders, down syndrome, ADHD and speech delay.This study aims to provide an overview of the therapeutic process and the effectiveness of the therapy given by islamic boarding school Al-Achsaniyyah to children who have autistic disorder. Therapy applied to children, namely occupational, speech, behavior, sensory integration, daily activities, the rhythm of the music, physio therapy, acupuncture and hypno therapy, among these therapies nothing is done every day and on the day only. This study used qualitative research methods case study. Research subjects are children who have autistic disorder aged 6-8 years, while a study conducted at islamic boarding school Al-Achsaniyyah in Kudus. Results of research conducted by the treatment of children with autism using this ABA methods have effectiveness in eliminating the habit of children who do not fit, say something teenagers often activate hand movement without cause. And maintain the results achieved by children and teach children about new things to do, such as children who initially perform bowel and bladder in the pants were taught to do it in the bathroom. The conclusions of this research are children who have received treatment several times from therapists experienced good progress. Suggestions from this study is that in providing therapy, the therapist more patient, as well as the Al-Achsaniyyah institutions to pay more attention to use the facilities and infrastructure therapist.

Abstract

The child’s independence is characters that make a child in  aged 0-6 years can stand by theirselves without depending in others, especially their parents. While many parents are working, parenting will in the hand of close relatives i.e. Grandma/Grandpa. This research aims to find out if there is a difference of  child’s independence in terms of  the subject matter of  parenting (parents and grandparent). The population of  this research are all students in kindergarten  Kartini 1, and  Kartini 2. The techniques that use in this research is purposive sampling technique. This research using a sample of  children in the range of  aged 5-6 years in class B that is parenting  by parents and grandparent with a total number of  30 students. The Method analysis data collection is using child’s independence scale . Methods analysis data in this research using program SPSS16. This is demonstrated by the acquisition of the value t calculate < t table (0,268 < 2,048)and the value of  sig. > 0.05 (0,791 > 0.05), then Ho denied. The conclusions of  this research showed that there are differences between child’s independence that was parenting by their parents and grandparent.

Abstract

Child with down syndrome have one of them character is muscle weak, short fingers and short feet. Cause of there certainly the children hard to doing activity gross and fine motor skills. One of method therapy is repair occupation therapy. The formulation of the problem in this study (1) how to application therapy occupation to children of special need (down syndrome) on BP-DIKSUS Semarang. (2) What of media and infrastructure to needed when therapy occupation to children special need (down syndrome). (3) How are form evaluation therapy occupation to children special need (down syndrome). Purpose of research is knowing application therapy occupation. Media and infrastructure needed and form of evaluation therapy occupation to children down syndrome Balai Pengembangan Pendidikan Khusus Semarang. This type research used in this study is a qualitative case studies that form the research procedure that produce descriptive data in the form of words, written or spoken words of people, people and observed behavior. The process accumulation data by means of observation, interview, notation, and documentation. Based on this research study indicate therapy occupation that on Balai Pengembangan Pendidikan Khusus Semarang is therapy process (opening and pray, colleague activity and kernel activity), the activity adjusted purpose to realized, be reward and punishment, before the child to treated occupation previous child behavior treated, therapy occupation more given to pre academy, pre motor skill and independence self. Media and infrastructure presence CCTV, tools of gross motor skill is sensory integrity that is (a pool ball, slide, stairs), tools of gross motor skill (puzzle, tassel, sewing tools, color cube), the facility of children got (book related, report, absent card), spot of therapy not appropriation yet. Though form of evaluation on Balai Pengembangan Pendidikan Khusus Semarang is ordinary evaluation. The problem is therapy schedule once in one week, a form of evaluation like a report and book related, and home program. Based of conclusion suggested (1) therapy to raising application and evaluation appropriate of basic and to adding supported therapy media. (2) parent more consistent to send the children and get insight about therapy occupation.

Abstract

Gross motor skills can be developed through a variety of interesting ways, one of them using a demonstration of motion and song. Demonstration method of motion and the song is a method that combines motion demonstration accompanied by the song to practice gross motor skills of children. The aim of this study was to determine differences in gross motor skills of children in group A in terms of methods of demonstration of motion and song. This study used an experimental method, with samples in TK Pertiwi Nusa Indah as an experimental class and TK Pertiwi Flamboyan as the control class. The method used is the method Quasi-experimental design types of nonequivalent control group design. Results of t-test calculation of independent sample t-test obtained t count equal to -17.318 with Sig. (2.tailed) <0.05, namely 0.00 <0.05. Based on the conclusion that there are differences in gross motor skills of children in group A in terms of methods of demonstration of motion and songs in kindergarten Nusa Pertiwi Indah. The conclusion that H0 is rejected and Ha accepted.

Abstract

Mathematic is important ability to be taught by teacher to kindergarten children so that they have skill in solving simple problems in modern technology. Introduction of basic mathematics concept should be given from an five to six age. Stick box portable game is One of the way to develop basic mathematics to children. The purpose of the research was to determine the effectiveness of the Stick box portable game as the introduction of the concept basic mathematics from an five to six age children in Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal kindergarten. This research uses experimental methods of Posttest Only Control Design. Using a Purposive random sampling. Elected to the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten 3 Sarirejo  (experimentation) and Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten 6 Kutoharjo (control). Based on t-test data Independent t-test results data control group and experimental group was significant because it has the value t calculate=-5,511 with Sig (2-tailed) 0.00<0.05. Introduction of basic mathematics concept mean in children there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups.

Abstract

The existence of twins is an exceptional phenomenon because there are two or more individuals who have similarities. In parenting and caring for twins, parents of twins will give them same treatment; feed, clothes, bed and others. If this happend continuously, it will have a negative impact, (e.g lack of confidence, lack of self/dependence, lack of the self-understanding) both twins in the future. This condition also happen parents of twins in the Tambakromo Pati. This study aimed to describe and determine the pattern of parenting that is applied to the twins in Tambakromo, Pati. This study used qualitative research methods. Researcher collected data using observation, interviews, and documentation. Validity of data measured using triangulation techniques, methods and timing. Data analysis was carried out interactively and continuously until the data is saturated by the step of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this research are applied to the sixth twins’s parents in Tambakromo, Pati. It uses democratic and authoritarian parenting. Parents applying nurture democratic twins in most aspects of the parenting; eating, drinking, dressing, deliver goods and toys, play, learn, bowel and bladder, achievement, child behavior, parental attitudes, and togetherness of the parents toward their twins. While the authoritarian parenting styles applied in some aspects of the parenting; bathing, sleeping, studying, and the attitude of parents who always get their children always together in daily activities.

Abstract

Education is one form or means in advancing science for society. At an early age children begin to work both through formal and informal environments. The quality of education itself is not only derived from the infrastructure but also of professional and competent educators in the field. Quality education is not only derived from the infrastructure but also of readiness of the volunteers or educators. Readiness or can be called with efficacy For most people do not understand what it is about the efficacy of both globally and efficacy in the field of education. The aim of this study was to determine the efficacy of early childhood professionals Heading towards the development of a teacher of cognitive abilities of children aged 4-6 years in Pos PAUD Mawar I Ngrampal, Sragen. In this research, using qualitative research methods, case study approach. Data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation in collecting data. Data analysis techniques with interactive models by triangulation as a technique for data validity. Based on the results of efficacy studies of  Pos PAUD professional teacher  Mawar I good enough that they can develop the cognitive abilities of students with a wide range of activities carried out by using the planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up phases. The conclusion from this study is the efficacy of the Professional teacher Pos PAUD Mawar I of the program the organization of cognitive development Efficacy Professional teacher Pos PAUD Mawar I of the program activities of development of cognitive abilities indicated teachers to master the competence of educators by compose RKH, using various methods of learning, evaluating and assessment, establish communication or cooperation with communities, parents or fellow teachers.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the caregiving form by babysitter as well as supporting and inhibiting factors of caregiving with babysitter that influence the ability of speaking of 2-3 years old children in Puri Hijau Housing Estate Purwokerto, Regency of Banyumas. This research is a qualitative research of descriptive study research and using methods of observation, interviews and documentation in collecting data. Data analysis techniques is interactive model. Technique of authenticity of data using triangulation technique. According to the result of the research there are some substantive theories that have emerged, namely among others that (1) The Form of Babysitter Caregiving on Speaking Ability of 2-3 years old Children include: Duties as a children’ playing friend and surrogate parents, explaining new words, storytelling contains a message, the nature of authoritarian, democratic and permissive, caregiving combination between parents and babysitter, conversing, eye contact and showing direction, understanding 2 orders, love to asking, storytelling about experience, quiet, argue and cry. (2) Supporting and inhibiting factors affection of caregiving with babysitter on the ability of speaking of 2-3 years old children include: The interference of parents in stimulus, nature and attitude of children to babysitter, cooperation between caregivers and parents, the performance of babysitter, babysitter knowledge about the children speaking ability, babysitter’s patience dealing with children, facilities and infrastructure as well as a family environment, unruly children behavior, attitude of parents, lack of patience babysitter  in the face of a hyperactive child, communication between parents and the babysitter, the minimum caregivers’ knowledge, attitude and nature of the babysitter towards the children.
