Abstract

This research aims to produce a system of Monitoring the management of the student regulations and the test disqualified. This type of research is a Research and Development (R&D) and system development model using the model of the Waterfall. The system created by using Framework CodeIgniter and Boostrap. The results showed that the system has been successfully developed to support the services of BK in managing student violations and monitor student conduct offenses. Alpha testing generally indicates the system has managed to according to its functions. Performance testing shows Time behavior has an average time of 2.3 seconds with grade 93/A, whereas Resource ulitization shows results score/grade 85/B. Testing expert system shows all aspects of a quality system indicates the category “very decent” with percentage Correctness 97.92%, 93.06% Reliability, 100% Integrity, and Usability 91.64%, while beta testing User Responses gets percentage, Administrator 85.33%, operators 90.67% , and Users 90.95% which shows excellent results for support services BK.

Abstract

This research is motivated because the learning of ICT is still using the lecture method that is one direction and, teachers are one - the only source of information for students. So that students become passive and less active learning outcomes achieved less than the maximum. One effort to overcome this problem is by using Snowball Throwing learning model that aims to determine the activity and student learning outcomes.This study design using quasi-experimental design to study design pretest-posttest control group design. The samples in this study using cluster random sampling technique. And obtained VIID grade students as an experimental class and class VIIA as the control class. Techniques used in data collection that documentation, observation and tests.The results showed that the average activeness in class experiments of 80.07% with both categories. While the value - average learning outcomes of students in the experimental class increased to 83.03 to test the gain obtained at 0.558%. The conclusion that Snowball Throwing learning model can enhance the activity and student learning outcomes. It is advisable for most teachers use these models on the subjects that diampunya so that the desired learning outcomes achieved.

Abstract

Tourism Information System was designed as a promotional media that provides information on tourist attractions in the district Gunungpati to the general public. This information system is developed using CodeIgniter and Bootstrap framework and the waterfall model. Testing of information systems covering the aspects of functionality, usability, and portability is based on ISO 9126. The implementation results obtained from the questionnaire responses from user and admin. The results showed using CodeIgniter and Bootstrap framework can be created the tourism information system in district Gunungpati. The test results on the aspect of functionality stated very decent with 100% functionality goes well. Results of testing the usability aspect stated very decent system with a result of 90%. In the aspect of portability, show very decent results ie 99% of the system can be run on different web browsers. Admin system implementation results obtained from questionnaires filled out by employees of the District Gunungpati expressed very well with the results of 94% admin easily manage the data on the system. While the results of the implementation of the system obtained from questionnaires filled out by 31 respondents who expressed very well with the results 86% of users can easily use the system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' learning activities and improving student learning outcomes in subjects ICT class VII High School 12 Semarang after using drill method learning with instructional media crossword puzzle. The design used in this study is nonequivalent control group design. The tools used in this study was the observation sheet and test sheet pretest and posttest. From the analysis of the data, the result of observation of student learning activities as a whole in the experimental class earned an average percentage of 83%, this data shows the experimental class students learning activities is high. On average value of pretest and posttest cognitive learning outcomes in the experimental class at 62.56 and 79.22. While the average value of pretest and posttest in control class is 62.73 and 73.83. To increase students' cognitive learning outcomes seen from the gain test. The result of the gain in the experimental class of cognitive learning outcome category was 0.44. While the test results on the gain control class 0.29 low category. Based on the research results can be concluded that the use of learning model drill with instructional media crossword puzzle on the activity and student learning outcomes in subjects ICT class VII High School 12 Semarang more effective than expository teaching model with the lecture method.

Abstract

This research aims to design, develop, and apply the information systems and data processing of birth, death, come, and have now moved in the Village Office Gunungpati District of Semarang. The method used in this study is a Rapid Application Development (RAD), which has a cycle of planning requirements, software design, inplementasi, and testing. The testing phase of this research is done with black-box testing and user trials. Black-box testing focuses on functional requirements, while the user test carried out by village officials in the office klurahan sekaran. The tools used in this study is a sheet instruments. From the data analysis, the result is that village officials at the Village Office have now proved that Information Systems birth, death, come, and moved very easy to use and can help the task of village officials in providing services to the community have now. This is indicated by the results of testing black-box testing and test users who say that the system is fit for use with both and facilitate service to the community. Suggestions based on the information system of birth, death, come, and move that has been so is that these letters can be printed exactly to the letter from the Office of the City Government of Semarang.

Abstract

The scoring system automatically answers the description exam is a way to facilitate and accelerate the process of assessment answers the description (essay). The system is performed by measuring similarity between answers learners answers with the answer key, this can be done by applying the method of string matching algorithm that uses Winnowing. The purpose of this study was to develop a ratings feature essay answers on Learning Management System, examine the effectiveness of assessment of learning outcomes with features developed, and determine differences in learning outcomes assessment using an automated system with manual systems. The scoring system answers to essay automatically on Learning Management System (LMS) used an experimental method which is one shot case study, in this case means there is no pretest and only a posttest, with a test system for students to investagate comparison of changes in the results of the study treated , Based on the analysis using the results of the questionnaire using descriptive analysis, so it can be concluded that there are significant differences between the value of the correction system with manual correction based on the description of each of the questions on the results that have been obtained.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce software of Management Information Systems Registry of Births Baby Web-based using PHP and MySQL in the office of the village hall Penundan subdistrict Batang district Banyuputih viable, practical and easy to use. The expected benefits of this research is to provide practicality and ease the process of recording births and birth data archiving. The research method used is a Research and Development (R & D). Functional testing system using blackbox testing performed by 10 students, due diligence review conducted by 2 lecturers expert system based on McCall quality models and test the practicality of implementation and ease of use of the system is done by 5 village officials. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in the study using a descriptive system with the percentage of research instruments in the form of a checklist or a selection of data called Likert scale. Conclusions from this research is the Management Information System Registry of Births Baby has successfully created the method of Research and Development, the results of feasibility test on the criteria of "Very Decent" with a percentage of 86.11% and the level of practicality and easy on the criteria of "Very Practical and Easy "with a percentage of 87.31%. Suggestions for further research is need for improvement in terms of the display system to be more responsive when accessed in all browsers, and is expected also the system can be applied to an online server.

Abstract

Sign language learning application to be able to help its users in order to learn sign language easily namely a sign language dictionary application can display video in it, is needed these day. The popularity of using android operating system in the general society makes the development of Indonesian sign language dictionary application based on android. This application development is using the software development waterfall model that consists of a stage needs analyze includes an analysis of user needs, preparation tools and the materials development, system design in the form of use case diagrams, activity diagram, sequence diagram, as well as interface design, coding by using the Java programming language, to the testing of products include the black-box test, experts test, and users test. The result of this application development is a dictionary application of sign language that can display a video of Indonesia language sign movement. Black-box testing result showed the application was already running in accordance with the design that has been created. Testing applications by material and media experts indicated that this application has a very good quality. Also for the application user testing results conducted 22 people studied the sign language, they indicated that the application has a very good functional qualities. Based on the results of these tests, then it can be inferred that Indonesian sign language dictionary application development can be used as a learning tool for helping Indonesian people to study about the sign language.

Abstract

This aim of this research to create a clone hardware that can represent original Bonang Barung using existing technology. Capacitive sensors on Arduino was used to detect a touch on bonang. The touch was distinguished by the declaration pins of Arduino. Each pin represented one sensor for one tone. The tone was derived from recording original Bonang Barung stored in SD-Card WTV020SD-16P module. Furthermore, Arduino as microcontroller would select input to produce an output through the speakers. Testing was done by analyzing the frequencies and sensitivities that exist in electronic bonang. Results of the test were showed difference frequency of 1-9 Hz between the frequency of original bonang with electronic bonang. This difference was still relatively the same frequency in one tone. The use of different thickness metal in sensitivity testing was as good as the response from the sensor. On the use of resistors, the higher value of resistor would make higher sensitivity of the sensor. Based of the research could be concluded that the capacitive sensor could be applied to design electronic bonang by using appropriate resistor value that was 1 MW. The higher value of resistor would make sensitivity of electronic bonang higher too. The use of aluminum foil and aluminum plate with thickness 0.8mm, 1mm and 1.5mm with each side lengths 3cm, 4cm and 5cm were as good as for sensor response.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of problem solving learning model to increase learning outcomes of ICT in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ulujami. The method used is a method of quantitative experiments. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ulujami the academic year 2015/2016 with the number of 364 students. The research sample is chosen randomly selected classes are two classes as class ekserimen (VIII-A and VIII-G) and two classes as the control class (VIII-C and VIII-I). The results showed the average posttest experimental class learning model of problem solving that is class VIII-A is 86 and VIII-G is 86, while those using the lecture method on the control class is class VIII-C is 79 and VIII-I was 83. the results of the study concluded that there are significant learning model application problem solving to learning outcome of ICT on students of SMP Negeri 1 Ulujami. It can be seen from the results of the linear regression equation VIII-A is ý = 0.29 + 63,79X and the results of the linear regression equation VIII-G is ý = 0.57 + 40,91X means that the effect of variable to variable pretest posttest is positive, showing a rise of the value pretest will be followed by a rise in the value of the posttest.
