Abstract

The aim in this research are: 1) Determine the service level of traffic at intersections, 2) Knowing how to solve traffic congestion at the intersection during rush hour. The analysis technique used is the technique of analysis of traffic flow with the formula Q = QLv + QHv + empHv + QMC + empMc analysis techniques degree of saturation with the formula DS = Q / C. Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the rate of agricultural land use (fields) to non-agriculture (paddy), the factors that influence the transfer of land use and the effects of changes in livelihoods and assets of farm households. The technique of collecting data through observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study was the rate of transfer order, regression and descriptive percentage. The analysis showed that the rate of transfer to Bawen highest in the district occurred in 2007, which amounted to 24.65% and decreased again by 10.99% in 2010. The rate of transfer to the village Samban that is equal to 7.90%, while use change rate in Sub Harjosari ie 9.83%. This is due to a large industrial development in the region. Factors that affect the transfer of land use is agricultural land, land prices, the influence of neighbors, and the influence of the private sector / investors. Change the livelihoods of farmers before mostly in the agricultural sector, but after the transfer to the livelihoods of farmers in the non-agricultural sector, changes in livelihood assets also increased by an additional assets such as vehicles, electronic goods and other owned by utilizing quotient of profit they receive.

Abstract

Di Kota Semarang memiliki moda transportasi massal yaitu Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Trans-Semarang yang beroperasi sejak tahun 2010. Diharapkan mampu mengurangi pertumbuhan kendaraan pribadi di Kota Semarang. Permasalahan yang dikaji adalah: Sudah efektifkah BRT Trans-Semarang sebagai moda transportasi di Kota Semarang? Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas, maka rumusan tujuan penelitian ini adalah: untuk mengetahui efektivitas BRT trans-semarang sebagai moda transportasi di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Kota Semarang yaitu di dalam BRT dan disepanjang jalan yang menjadi rute BRT. Populasi dan sampelnya adalah keseluruhan bus dan halte BRT. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey, observasi dan wawancara kepada penumpang BRT. Setelah mensurvay bus da halte kemudian mendata dengan metode checklist, setelah itu discoring selanjutnya di uji validitasnya dengan data pertumbuhan kendaraan pribadi sebelum dan setelah ada BRT untuk mengetahui efektivitasnya untuk mengurangi pertumbuhan kendaraan pribadi di Kota Semarang Dalam hasil penelitian ini, moda transportasi BRT yang ada di Kota Semarang dinyatakan efektif. karena BRT di Kota Semarang mampu mengurangi angka pertumbuhan kendaraan pribadi di wilayah yang dilewati/ menjadi rute BRT Koridor 1 dan 2. Keefektivan BRT itu karena BRT sudah terintegrasi, memiliki tempat pemberhentian khusus yang nyaman, pendapat penumpang yang menyatakan BRT sudah aman, nyaman dan tarifnya terjangkau.   In the city of Semarang have mass transportation is Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Trans-Semarang operating since 2010 Expected able to reduce the growth of private vehicles in the city of Semarang. Abstract

Abstract

Kabupaten Pemalang merupakan salah satu Kabupaten di Provinsi Jawa Tengah dengan karakteristik  perekonomian  yang  didominasi  oleh  sektor  pertanian. Sub  sektor  tanaman  pangan sebagai bagian dari sektor pertanian memiliki peranan yang sangat penting terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi  nasional.  Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  komoditas  unggulan  pertanian tanaman  pangan  dan  daya  saing  wilayah  di  Kabupaten  Pemalang.Hasil  penelitian  komoditas unggulan  meliputi  keunggulan  komparatif  dan  kompetitif.Analisis  Locationt  Quotient  (LQ) digunakan  untuk  mengetahui  keunggulan  komparatif  suatu  wilayah  sedangkan  analisis  Revenue Cost  digunakan  untuk  mengetahui  keunggulan  kompetitif  suatu  komoditas.  Hasil  analisis  LQ menunjukan  bahwa  tanaman  padi  memiliki  penyebaran  wilayah  paling  luas  yang  meliputi Kecamatan  Randudongkal,  Pemalang,  Taman,  Petarukan,  Ampelgading,  Comal,  dan  Kecamatan Ulujami. Sedangkan metode RC sebagai salah satu pendekatan model pengujian keuntungan cabang usahatani menunjukkan bahwa seluruh komoditas tanaman pangan memiliki keunggulan kompetitif karena  nilai  RC  >  1.Nilai  RC  tertinggi  untuk  komoditas  tanaman  pangan  adalah  tanaman padi.Dilihat dari  keunggulan komparatif dan  kompetitif  berdasarkan  pada  nilai  tertinggi diperoleh kesimpulan  bahwa  tanaman  padi  adalah  komoditas  unggulan  tanaman  pangan di  Kabupaten Pemalang.Keragaan  daya  saing  wilayah  dengan  metode  Penskalaan  dan  juga  memperhatikan keunggulan komparatif dan kompetitif dipengaruhi oleh dukungan sumber daya alam, profil tumbuh tanaman, pola tanam, nilai ekonomi produksi, dan topografi suatu wilayah. Pemalang Regency is one of regency in Central Java with the characteristics of an  economy that is dominated by the agricultural sector. Crops sub sector as part of the agricultural sector has a very important roleon the growth of the national economy. The purpose of this study was determined bases commodities of food crop and  competitiveness  of  the  region.  The  result  of  commodities  bases  covered  comparative and competitive. The method  of  Location  Quotient  (LQ)  was  used  to  determined  commparative  advantage  of  a  region  whereas Revenue Cost (RC)analysis used to knowing competitive advantage of a commodity. LQ analysis result showed that  rice  has  the  most  wide  spread  of  areas  covering  Sub-district  of  Randudongkal,  Pemalang,  Taman, Petarukan, Ampelgading,  Comal  and  Ulujami.  The  method  of  RC  as  one  approaches  the  brench  of  farming profit testing models showed that the whole farming of food crops have a competitive advantage because the value of RC showed > 1. The higest  of RC value for food crops  commodities was rice plants. Seen from  the highest value of comparative and competitive advantages can  be concluded that rice is the superiority of food crops in Pemalang. The competitiveness variability of the region by the method of scaling and also looking camparative and competitive advantage was influenced by natural resource endownments, the profile of the growing plants, the production economi value and area topography

Abstract

Remitan merupakan kiriman uang atau barang maupun ide/gagasan dari imigran yang menetap di daerah migrasi ke daerah asal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui variabel apa saja yang mempengaruhi nilai remitan pada pedagang Warung Makan Tegal di Kawasan sekitar Universitas Negeri Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian dekriptif-kuantitatif, untuk mengetahui pengaruh dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis chi-square. Hasil analisis chi-square diperoleh 7 variabel karakteristik demografi yang mempengaruhi besarnya nilai remitan (p < 0,05) pedagang Warung Makan Tegal di sekitar Komplek Universitas Negeri Semarang. Variabel-variabel tersebut antara lain meliputi variabel lama berdagang, jumlah kepemilikan warung, jumlah tanggungan, lama migrasi, kebutuhan hidup, tingkat pendapatan, dan motif. Sedangkan variabel yang tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan yaitu variabel usia dan variabel mobilitas. Remittances are remittances or goods or the idea / notion of immigrants who settled in the area of ​​migration to the area of ​​origin. The purpose of this study was to determine the variables that affect the value of remittances on the merchant Warung Makan Tegal in the Area around Universitas Negeri Semarang. The method used in this study uses a quantitative-descriptive type of research, to determine the effect in this study using chi-square analysis. Results of chi-square analysis of demographic characteristics was obtained 7 variables that affect the value of remittances (p <0.05) traders around Warung Makan Tegal in Complex Universitas Negeri Semarang. These variables include the old variable trade, the number of stalls ownership, number of dependents, long migration, the necessities of life, income level, and motives. Abstract

This research aims to determine the distribution of boarding houses, characteristics of industri workers, factors that affect the preferences of election a boarding house and the preferences of election a boarding house for industry workers. Techniques of data collection using questionnaires, documentation and field measurements. Data were analyzed using spatial analysis and percentage descriptive analysis. The results showed that the distribution of boarding houses tend to be located in industri area which are neighborhood unit 01, unit 04, unit 05, and unit 06. Characteristics of industry workers are divided into three aspects, namely a) demographic aspects including age, sex and marital status; b) socio-cultural aspects covering the status and position of industry workers, the latest education and the origin of industry workers; and c) economic aspects that include income and expenditure of industry workers in a month. Factors that affect the preferences of election a boarding house are internal factors and external factors. Internal factor is the characteristics of industry workers, while the external factors are divided into four factors: physical factors, accessibility factors, environmental factors, and boarding house facilities.The preferences of election a boarding house for industry workers there a four, among them a) ease of access to the work site and the infrastructure that is the main reason industry workers choose where to stay in boarding house; b) a clean, safe and comfortable boarding house environment, which is the second reason; c) cheap boarding house rental fees is the third reason; and d) completeness of public facilities boarding house which is the last reason industry workers in choosing boarding house.

Abstract

Ruang terbuka hijau di Kota Semarang dari hari ke hari semakin menyempit, artinya ruang terbuka hijau semakin berkurang dan berada di bawah ambang batas persyaratan. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) mengetahui kondisi taman kota di Kecamatan Semarang Selatan, 2) mengetahui cemaran udara di Kecamatan Semarang Selatan, 3) mengetahui tingkat kerapatan vegetasi di Kecamatan Semarang Selatan, 4) memberikan arahan akan kebutuhan RTH dan jenis vegetasi taman kota di Kecamatan Semarang Selatan. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif-kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis spasial, analisis ketelitian interpretasi, analisis deskriptif, dan analisis komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, kondisi sebaran vegetasi di Taman KB dan Taman Simpang Lima untuk komposisi vegetasi masuk kategori sedikit, kerapatan vegetasi masuk kategori sangat jarang, dan keberadaan sebaran vegetasi masuk kategori sangat jelek. Pengukuran cemaran udara menunjukkan konsentrasi cemaran di Jalan Pahlawan lebih tinggi dibandingkan di Taman KB dan Taman Simpang Lima. Tingkat kerapatan vegetasi di Kecamatan Semarang Selatan memiliki luasan terbesar pada kategori cukup rapat dengan luas 255,420 Ha. Arahan kebutuhan RTH perlu penambahan luasan sebesar +124,51 Ha, kekurangan 340.019 batang pohon, dan penambahan jenis pohon penyerap NO2 dan debu pada Taman Simpang Lima.  Green air-gap in Town of Semarang day after day progressively narrow, its meaning green air-gap on the wane and under sill of conditions boundary.The purpose of the study are: 1) to knowing the condition of parks in Sub District of South Semarang, 2) to knowing the air pollutants in Sub District of South Semarang, 3) knowing the density of vegetation in Sub District of South Semarang, 4) give a picture about the RTH need and kinds of vegetation in parks in Sub District of South Semarang. The research method was descriptive-quantitative. Data analysis techniques used in the study were spatial analysis, interpretation accuracy analysis, descriptive analysis, and analysis comparative. The results showed that, the spread of vegetation at KB Park and Simpang Lima Park was categorized into few, the density of vegetation was categorized into very rare, and the presence of vegetation distribution was categorized into very bad. The pollutant measurement showed that the pollutant concentration on Pahlawan Street was higher than that of at KB Park and Simpang Lima Park. The density level of vegetation in Sub District of South Semarang was the largest which was categorized into dense enough and covered 255,420 hectare. As the RTH need, it is necessary to widen the area until +124,51 hectare, add more 340.019 trees, and put some trees that can absorb NO2 and dust at Simpang Lima Park.

Abstract

Settlement and fire constitute complex problems facing large urban cities such as Semarang. The article attempts to examine how and to what extent the utilization of remote sensing techniques for mapping the vulnerability of fire in the city of Semarang. Where are the areas in Semarang who have a high vulnerability? Based on this research, it can be concluded among other things, (1) Quickbird satellite image year 2006 can be used to extract physical parameters fire vulnerability with an average accuracy of 85.8% (2) the level of vulnerability to fires in the study area was divided into 3 classes the details: the potential of low fire Southern District of Semarang 17.327 ha (1.02%), Middle District of Semarang 18.768 ha (1.11%), and the Eastern District of Semarang 9.712 Ha (0.57%). Are potential fire, District of South Semarang 207.946 ha (12.27%), Middle District of Semarang 217.855 ha (12.85%) and the Eastern District of Semarang 186.625 ha (11.10%). High fire potential Southern District of Semarang 109.66 Ha (6.47%), Middle District of Semarang 98.68 Ha (5.82%) and the Eastern District of Semarang 117.591 ha (6.94%). Residential area that is prone to fire hazard is characterized by a solid physical condition of buildings, the layout is irregular, and low quality of construction, coupled with the lack of fire fighting facilities
