Abstract

This study explained about the concept of project-based brain-writing learning model in the teaching and learning process of writing skill in Indonesian subject. Learning became the process to deliver the theory to the students through stimuli and responses. One of the aspects that were very important to determine the learning achievement was the using of learning strategy and the interactive learning media that could motivate the students in the learning process. The research has purposed to find the effect of the Brainwriting learning model based on project-based learning to improve Indonesian writing skills. The research method used an experimental method research design. The research population was five classes of Public Elementary School 1 Klegen Madiun. Analyzing the results that there is a significant effect of project-based learning brainwriting models on Indonesian writing skills. This study used a project-based brain-writing learning model that hopefully could give the easier learning process for the students.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of information technology (IT), the need for an IT-based concept and learning mechanism becomes inevitable. Therefore, one form of information technology has emerged, namely facilities for learning systems called e-learning. This research aims to describe the learning system of class XI RPL web in Vocational High School Ibu Kartini Semarang, develop e-learning in class XI RPL web programming in Vocational High School Ibu Kartini Semarang, measure the feasibility of e-development products learning in class XI RPL web programming subjects at Vocational High School Ibu Kartini Semarang, measuring the effectiveness of e-learning development products in web programming subjects in class XI RPL at Vocational High School Ibu Kartini Semarang. This study uses Thiagarajan model, and e-learning was developed through four stages, namely preliminary studies, development planning and validation, product trials, and final product determination. The process of evaluating the feasibility of instructional media by giving questionnaires to media experts, material experts, and respondents of trial use (students). The results showed that the developed e-learning had fulfilled the requirements and fulfilled the requirements to be used as learning media. The results of the pre-test calculation get the value of tvalue = 0.733 and ttable = 1.67 while the post-test results produce a value of tvalue = 2.986 and ttable = 1.67 so that the hypothesis that can be taken is H0 is rejected if tvalue > ttable that an increase in student learning outcomes. The results of the calculation of students' early and late learning interests in the use of e-learning, with an average percentage increase of 16.38% of the previous learning interest. Based on the above research, the implication in the field of curriculum development science is the use of technology in learning web programming following the development of education 4.0.

Abstract

The nested integrated learning model is the integration of curriculum in one discipline, specifically to put the focus of interrogation on several learning skills. The purposes of the study are analyzing the learning models used in Bahasa Indonesia language, developing integrated learning models that are effective in learning Indonesian subjects, improving language skills through a cohesive type of integrated learning model to be implemented in everyday life. This method applied is research and development by Sukmadinata. Data collection techniques used performance test techniques, observations, and interviews. This study applied statistic parametric inferential data. The research and development results showed that the integrated learning model could improve language skills in grade VII students in junior high school. The nested type showed a significant increase in language skills compared to classes with conventional learning. An excess of nested teachers could combine several skills at once in one subject. This model is as an alternative in learning to improve language skills especially. The benefit of this research is to provide a contribution of science and technology in the form of a synthesis study of the Integrated Learning model (nested) type in the Indonesian subjects of class VII.

Abstract

This research is conducted because of the background of professional placement which is never be done. Thus the success couldn’t be seen. This research used Stake Countenance Model. The research method is qualitative descriptive by data collection technique of observation, interview, and documentation study. The research purpose is to evaluate the implementation of Professional Placement by using Stake Countenance. Result study shows that (1) Antecedents, covering the vocational competence election is implemented before professional placement or PKL, there are forty Du/Di, the activities had done for six months, the material is arranged by school without involving Du/Di, the briefing is done in two cycles, the determination of advisor is determined by the productive teachers and Du/Di, (2) Transactions, covering the journal is conducted by the students and evaluated by the advisers, monitoring is done in two cycles, the composing of the report is guided by the teacher adviser and the Du/Di, (3) Output, covering the evaluation involves the cognitive aspect, attitude, and skills but there is no test for students, there are only three Du/Di which delivers the certificates, research result shows that from ninety-seven (97) students’ of Office Administration in class eleven, there were only fifty-two (52) students who reached predicate A in range (90-100), and forty (40) students got predicate B in range (80-89), and five (5) students got predicate C in range (70-79). Based on the research result on this professional placement, the eleventh grade Office Administration students of Public Vocational High School 2 Tegal is work. The implication at improvement of professional placement in Public Vocational High School 2 Tegal is the arrangement of materials should be composed by the school with Du/Di, doing the test for students, the adviser’s expertise competence must be appropriate, and Du/Di have to give the task which is appropriate to the students’ expertise competence.

Abstract

The schemata are conceptual frameworks that are in the form of design process for translating the particular idea, where the reading activities require the proper scheme in understanding the information. The students read with traditional technique that has not yet to build the perspective information. There should be an evaluation of the strategy for integrating information, so the purpose of this research provides an overview of how the schemata role integrating the students reading literacy. The population of this research is the student in eighth grade at SMPN 1 Lebakwangi. This method of research is qualitative descriptive with case study design. The results show the potential schemata providing the significance in students’ reading literacy, where students can identify the information, synthesize information and facilitate information. Three stages use for generating information based on the perspective built through the schemata stages. The implications of this study provide an insight into concept mapping information in reading literacy. There are schemata as strategy to divide information based on the questions and make summarization. It takes the students to convey information becoming a critical reader by eliminating inappropriate information.

Abstract

The teaching materials are to help the teachers in conducting learning activities in the classroom. The materials are written and unwritten. This study purposed to analyze the teaching material using e-module as local content Batik, develop e-module local content Batik that is practically and effectiveness in improving the local content learning for elementary school in Pekalongan, analyze the validity test of Batik’s e-module is to measure the learning of local content for elementary school in Pekalongan, the effectiveness of Batik’s e-module can enhance the learning of local content for elementary school in Pekalongan. This study uses research and development models (R&D). The development of teaching material in this study is Batik’s e-module. The teaching material provides Figures and videos about Batik, so it will be easily for students in understanding the material. The result of the feasibility material by the experts have obtained the percentage 88.6%. Then, the result of media validation is 97.14%. Based on the results validation show that the developing e-module is in the excellent categories, so it has been feasible to be applied in the learning process. The effectiveness tests are conducted in three requirements, there are analyzing the minimum completeness test, individual classical completeness test, and improved learning outcomes. The results of three requirements test, show that Batik’s e-module could improve the students learning outcomes significantly compared to the learning by using the published book. This study is supported in education, to develop Batik’s e-module. The product becomes an alternative media to assist the students learn Batik by using technology. It can also use as a source of reading in the learning of local content.
