Abstract

Learning media is a very effective for teachers to improve the quality of learning and ensure that students can understand the material better. For this reason, it is necessary to design learning media that can facilitate students to understand the material being studied. This research aims to develop and implement a learning e-module by utilizing crossword games on the subject of flat-sided spatial construction for class VIII junior high school students, through a 4-D development research design, which are define, design (planning), develop (development), and dissiminate (distribution). E-module development utilizes facilities on the Heyzine website and other supporting applications such as Ms Word and Canva. The subjects of this research were 27 class VIII students at SMPN 1 Bulawa. The instruments used in this research were a questionnaire for media expert validation, a material expert validation questionnaire, a teacher respondent questionnaire and a student respondent questionnaire. The media expert validation results got a score of 3.55, including very valid criteria, while the material expert validation results got a score of 3.72 with the same criteria, which very valid. The results of the limited scale trial to see practicality through the teacher respondent questionnaire obtained a percentage of 97%, which the very practical criteria, while the student respondent questionnaire obtained a percentage of 93.57%, also included in the very practical criteria. Thus, the e-module developed is declared suitable for use and dissemination.

Abstract

This research aims to produce interactive learning multimedia based on Google sites on sequence and series material in class XI IPA I SMA Negeri 1 Tilango with valid, practical and effective criteria. This research and development (Research and Development) uses the function D model, but its distribution is only carried out on a limited basis in research schools. The subjects in this research were class XI IPA I students at SMA Negeri 1 Tilango. The object of this research is interactive learning multimedia developed based on Google Sites in rows and rows. The results of the research were: (1) This learning multimedia has met the validity criteria because it has gone through the validation stage from 5 validators (5 media validators and 5 material validators). The average response obtained from media and material validators was "Yes", which means that on average validators gave a good response to learning multimedia; (2) the assessment of the practicality of the media has practical criteria in the "Very Good" category by the teacher, with a score of 4.75 and by students in small and large group trials, namely 3.27 and 3.45; (3) the effectiveness of multimedia from the results of the percentage of positive student response questionnaires, namely 86%.

Abstract

The level of human quality development between regions or countries can be measured using the Human Development Index (HDI) value. The higher the value of the HDI, the better the quality of human development in the region. Some variables affect the value of the HDI. This study will test six independent variables using the Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWPR) method. This GWPR method combines panel data regression with the Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) method. This GWPR method combines the dimensions of location and time to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to see which variables have a significant effect on the value of the HDI in Papua Province. By using panel data regression, the best model that can be formed is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). However, the FEM model that was formed did not meet the heteroscedasticity assumption test on the residuals, so further modeling was carried out using the GWPR model. GWPR modeling on this data uses a kernel weighting function, whereas previously, data transformation was carried out by the concept of the FEM model. The GWPR model with the best kernel weighting function is fixed exponential. In selecting the best model based on the coefficient of determination , the GWPR model is better than the FEM model. Regarding the significance of model parameters, nine groups of districts/cities based on independent variables significantly affect the HDI. In all districts/cities of Papua Province, the per capita expenditure variable significantly affects the HDI's value.
