Abstract

Delivery by section Caesarea is surgical to save mother and baby who risk condition and cannot give vaginal delivery. Section cesarean can cause-effect physical, psychological problems, and role nursing to reduce the effect and help the patient. This study aimed to depict the implementation of the nursing with focuses application the theory or comfort Kolcaba and self-care Orem on the case of primipara post-cesarean section. The method used is a case study with the application of the Orem Self Care Theory and Comfort Kolcaba in five cases of women with a post-primiparous cesarean section at Dr. RSUPN. Cipto Mangunkusoma Jakarta The application of theory help post-cesarean patient to comfort/reduced pain and increase ability self-care and newborn.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is pain before or during menstruation, occurring on the first day to several days of menstruation. This condition results in young women having difficulty concentrating while studying and absent in the teaching and learning process in class. The research design is quantitative descriptive research. The sample of the study were 160 female students in Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum and Miftahul Jannah Palangka Raya, with a purposive sampling technique. The questionnaire used was a question/statement containing the age of menarche, the incidence of dysmenorrhea, family history of menstrual pain. Data were analyzed univariately by frequency distribution test. The study found results from 160 respondents found the average age of menarche is 12.89 years with a standard deviation of 1.24, the lowest age of menarche is 9 years, and the highest is 17 years, has a history of dysmenorrhea in a family of 110 people (69%), and has menstrual pain 138 people (86%). This study concluded that the majority of respondents experienced menstrual pain, and had a family history of dysmenorrhea, and the age range of menarche 9-17 years with an average of 12.89 years.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by an increase in blood glucose levels. One way to manage it is with Benson Relaxation. Benson Relaxation is a relaxation technique that is a combination of relaxation techniques with individual belief systems. Research shows that Benson relaxation can reduce blood glucose levels in DM patients. Community service activities by applying the results of the study namely Benson Relaxation to control blood sugar levels were carried out in 32 DM patients. Activities include health education about DM and Benson Relaxation and the practice of carrying out Benson's Relation accompanied by the sounds of the Asmaul Husna. The media used during the activity were LCD projector and IM3 Asmaul Husna. The event went smoothly according to the plan; all participants followed the movement enthusiastically from beginning to end. During the event, the media used during the activity can function properly, and the environment is quite conducive. The evaluation results of the participants were able to mention again about DM and its management and were able to practice Benson Relaxation well. The activity provided benefits in the form of increasing knowledge about Diabetes Mellitus and its management and the ability to carry out Benson Relaxation to control blood sugar levels in DM patients in the Pahandut Community Health Center Palangka Raya Benson work area.

Abstract

Physical exercise is one of the pillars of diabetes management that needs to be cultivated, because there are many benefits that can be felt by people with DM. The number of benefits that can be felt by patients with DM, it is very necessary activeness of DM patients in doing one gym gymnastics. Activity of DM patients can also be influenced by several factors one of which is family support. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship of family support with the activity of following gymnastics in people with diabetes mellitus type two. Thisused study observational research Cross Sectional. Instruments include family support questionnaires and liveliness forms. The population in this study were members of Club Prolanis Diamen Barigas BPJS Office Palangka Raya who experienced DM and samples in the study were two types of DM patients who followed the gymnastics activities as much as 30 respondents using sampling technique that is total sampling. Univariate analysis using frequency distribution table and bivariate analysis usingtest Chi-Square. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between family support and activeness following gymnastics in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus At Club Prolanis Diamen Barigas BPJS Office Palangka Raya, with the result of statistical test of continuity correction known that significance p value of 0,046 with α < (0.05). There is a relationship between family support and active follow gymnastics in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Club Prolanis Diamen Barigas BPJS Palangka Raya.

Abstract

Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) is a painful condition experienced by a woman, the influenced of imbalanced levels of the hormone progesterone in the blood. Various factors can influence the incidence of dysmenorrhea. So that the study aims to identify the factors that influence the incidence of dysmenorrhea. The research design used analytical methods and cross-sectional approaches. The sampling technique used consequential on 138 respondents. The instruments used questionnaires and data were analyzed by frequency distribution test, chi-square test and multiple logistic analysis test. The results of this study stated that the variables of menarche age, knowledge, level of depression, level of anxiety, level of stress, physical activity, nutritional status and state of anemia were not significantly associated with the incidence of dysmenorrhea. The variable history of menstrual pain in the family showed a significant relationship with the incidence of dysmenorrhea and adolescents with a history of dysmenorrhea had a 3.94 times chance of experiencing pain. The variable that has the greatest influence on adolescent menstrual pain is a family history of dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

Faktor yang memengaruhi kesehatan ibu hamil adalah kualitas tidur yang kurang. Gangguan tidur pada ibu hamil disebabkan oleh meningkatnya frekuensi berkemih, sesak nafas dan nyeri punggung. Untuk mengatasi keluhan tersebut diperlukan adanya aktivitas fisik pada ibu hamil berupa senam hamil dan yoga. Tujuan literature review ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam hamil dan yoga terhadap peningkatan durasi tidur pada ibu hamil. Pencarian jurnal artikel yang digunakan dalam Literature ini berasal dari database Google Scholar dan Research Gate. Sepuluh artikel jurnal dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi yang telah ditetapkan. Berdasarkan 10 artikel penelitian yang dianalisis, aktivitas fisik senam hamil dan yoga berpengaruh terhadap kualitas tidur pada ibu hamil. Literature review ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar dalam memberikan intervensi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang cara terbaik mencegah dan menangani masalah gangguan tidur pada saat masa kehamilan dengan melakukan senam hamil dan yoga hamil.

Abstract

Postpartum blues are changes in feelings that often occur in post-cesarean mothers, such as feelings of sadness, excessive joy, and feelings of depression, sudden crying, and irritability. Occurs from a few hours to a few days after delivery. Postpartum blues can be overcome with health education and husband's support, so the study aims to determine the effect of providing Health Education and Husband Support on the incidence of Postpartum Blues in Post-Cesarean Section Mothers. Quasi-experimental research design, with a pre-posttest approach. Sampling by consecutive sampling on 60 respondents who were divided into control and intervention groups. Instruments used EPDS, data were analyzed using the Mc Nemar test and Chi Square test. There was a difference in the proportion of postpartum blues events between the intervention group and the control group after the intervention group was given health education and husband support (P Value 0.041). Post-cesarean section mothers who received intervention had a 4.33 times higher chance of not experiencing postpartum blues compared to mothers who did not receive intervention (OR: 4.33; 1.20-15.60). Health education and husband's support influence the incidence of postpartum blues in post-cesarean section mothers.

Abstract

Hypertension is a major health problem that can cause complications from various diseases such as heart disease, stroke, kidney failure and other diseases. One effort to lower blood pressure is with bay leaf boiled water therapy. Bay leaves contain flavonoids which function to relax arterial muscles so they can reduce high blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of bay leaf boiled water therapy on blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The research design used a quasi-experiment with a one group pre-post test design approach, the sample size was 39 people using a purposive sampling technique. The patient drank water boiled with bay leaves ½ glass in the morning and ½ glass before eating for 2 weeks. Blood pressure was measured before and after drinking boiled bay leaves. The results of the research before therapy were carried out, the average systolic blood pressure was 160.67 mmHg and diastolic 93.1 mmHg, after therapy with bay leaf boiled water the average systolic blood pressure was 147.74 mmHg and diastolic 81.72 mmHg. The results of the analysis showed that bay leaf boiled water therapy had an effect on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients at the Menteng Community Health Centers, Palangka Ra (p=0.00)

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding, which means the baby is only given breast milk without any other food or drink for the first six months, contains all the nutrients the baby needs and immune substances that help boost their immune system. This study examines mothers' plans for exclusive breastfeeding and the factors that influence them. This study uses a retrospective cohort design. The research instrument used secondary data. Analysis use Chi Square test. It is known that primigravida and multigravida mothers tend to have plans for exclusive breastfeeding after being provided with 7 days of support. From the statistical test results, a p-value of 0.157 was obtained, concluding that gravida does not have an influence on the mother's plan for exclusive breastfeeding. Mothers without experience and those with experience in exclusive breastfeeding tend to have plans for exclusive breastfeeding after 7 days of support. From the statistical test results, a p-value of 0.570 was obtained, concluding that maternal experience does not influence the mother's plan for exclusive breastfeeding. Mothers with both negative and positive attitudes tend to have plans for exclusive breastfeeding. From the statistical test results, a p-value of 0.031 was obtained, concluding that the mother's attitude has an influence on the mother's plan for exclusive breastfeeding with an RR of 6.333. It is concluded that gravida, maternal experience does not have an influence on the mother's plan for exclusive breastfeeding, whereas the mother's attitude does have an influence on the mother's plan for exclusive breastfeeding.
